Excellence Killed The Church

We were honored to have his book for sale, and to have him write a personal message.
Fair warning and disclaimer; you might become quite angry while reading this book. So many speakers and authors nuance and adjust for political correctness what they think and feel you may have become anesthetized by their gumdrops and lollipops lovey-dovey gentile manner. This is not an everyone gets a trophy feel good about me book. This is the real deal, our authentic condition, and my assessment as to why we are here and what to do. There will be other books in my series. By the end of my series I hope I make you mad enough to do something, throw the book, scream at the book, maybe even kick the book - but not at a dog or cat! I am hoping you become angry and fed up enough to do something, anything to help stop the bleeding in this country! No pressure, but it really is all up to you.

Dr. Rick Scarborough - Vision America

2. Dr. Rick Scarborough - Founder & Pres. Vision America
Dr. Rick Scarborough, D Min. Founder and President of Vision America Rick Scarborough holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Houston Baptist University, with a double major in Political Science and Speech. Dr. Scarborough and Tommye, his wife, have two grown children, Misty and Richard, and one daughter in Heaven, Kathryn who finished her assignment here in 2004 at 25 years of age. Misty is married to Daniel Black; they have two children, Micah and Alexis. Richard is married to Anny; they have twins, Richard Wayne III and Kaylee Anne. From 1990 to June 2002, Dr. Scarborough was the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Pearland located on the southeast side of the Houston Metroplex. During his twelve year ministry there, the church baptized over 2,000 people and relocated to a beautiful new 27-acre campus and facilities in March 2001; featuring Eagle Heights Christian Academy with faculty and student population of over 300 and Trinity Oaks Retirement Center with housing for 85 independent and assisted living units. In 1992,
Dr. Scarborough gained national recognition when he exposed the contents of a disturbing assembly program at the local high school. Under the auspices of an “AIDS Presentation,” a young lady, sponsored by the AIDS Foundation of Houston, candidly discussed every sex act imaginable expressing the opinion (presented as fact) that “safe sex” was attainable by using condoms. Dr. Scarborough recorded the assembly and then made transcripts available to his congregation the following Sunday morning. The resulting furor that erupted caught the eye of the national media. Dr. Scarborough mobilized his congregation during the following months to make significant changes in Pearland. Members began running for public office, as well as volunteering for various organizations beyond traditional “Christian ministry” seeking to become “salt and light” in their community.
National Public Radio produced a two-part feature on Dr. Scarborough during which he was dubbed, “The Rising Star of the Religious Right”. In 1996 he published the widely acclaimed 252-page book appropriately entitled, Enough is Enough; a Call to Christian Involvement. Other published works include, In Defense of Mixing Church and State and It All Depends on What Is…Is. In 2007 he published Liberalism Kills Kids.
In 1998, he founded Vision America, an organization whose mission is to “inform and mobilize Pastors and their congregations to become salt and light, becoming pro-active in restoring Judeo-Christian values in America.” The advisory board of Vision America includes notable Christian leaders such as Don Wildmon and Dr. Tim LaHaye. On May 9, 2005, the Washington Post carried a front page story in the Sunday addition on the effective work that Dr. Scarborough and the Judeo-Christian Council is accomplishing in their efforts to confront Judicial tyranny and mobilize pastors.
Dr. Scarborough's work has been featured in numerous articles and publications around the nation. A partial listing includes the New York Times, Washington Times, Kansas City Star, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, Boston Globe and the Congressional Quarterly. Dr. Scarborough has appeared on Larry King Live, Fox News, CBS Evening News and numerous other television and radio programs. The work of Vision America has been featured in several documentaries and specials such as CNN’s award winning special God’s Warriors and the HBO documentary, Friends of God. Dr. Scarborough and Vision America have been featured on Focus on the Family with Dr. James Dobson three times. Dr. Scarborough regularly speaks in churches, rallies, and political conventions. Scheduling information and availability can be obtained by calling 866-522-5582 or by visiting http://www.visionamerica.us.

Pastor Dan Fisher - Black Robed Regiment

3. Pastor Dan Fischer - Black Robed Regiment
Dan is known as a leader in the modern “Black Robed Regiment” movement and has given his presentation, “Bringing Back the Black Robed Regiment,” all across America. In this presentation, he gives the history of American pastors during the Revolutionary War and shows how they were one of the primary forces in the fight for liberty. Dan shows that had it not been for the preachers and their strong stand for liberty in the 18th century, the America we know today would probably not exist.

Dr. Tim Lee - Tim Lee Ministries

4. Dr. Tim Lee - Tim Lee Ministries
John and Wanda Lee gave their son to God for the gospel ministry following his birth in 1950. That son grew to be a spirited and gifted athlete. He was converted at age ten but would soon develop a hostile attitude toward authority.
Evangelists have played a major role in America’s moral and spiritual profile over the course of the last 200 years. Their explosive forms have moved before audiences in churches, auditoriums, public meeting halls, secular school assemblies, civic clubs, on street corners and in the open air. Their life changing effects on the masses of people have been striking and dramatic in shaping the conscience of the nation.
The Lord supernaturally prepares and raises up men for a specific day, a specific hour, and a specific duty in a nation’s life. Because of his widespread public awareness, the call of the evangelist is unique in the ministry. His spirit is aflame, his burden and energy is often times contagious and his anointing is evidenced even by unregenerate men and women.
Tim Lee, the rebellious teenager and son of a Baptist minister, once walked the streets of McLeansboro, Illinois, in violent protest to all ordained authority in the home, the church, the school. He was a born fighter. Every inch of his life from childhood was contested for. As Billy Sunday once stated, “I know all about the dark and seamy side of life, and if ever a man fought hard, I have fought hard for everything I have ever gained.”
To escape the world around him, he joined the Marine Corps in 1969. After his training, he received orders to serve in southeast Asia. In March of 1971, he was apprehended by the hand of God along an abandoned grassy trail in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. In that moment, engulfed in smoke, fire and holy vengeance, a land mine explosion severed two lower limbs, and placed in a wheelchair for life a young man who was to carry, without legs, a message from God to a nation.
After his call to preach in 1973, and following a year of itinerant evangelistic preaching, Tim Lee pastored for five years in southern Illinois before surrendering to the full-time ministry of evangelism in 1979. The results in the lives of people was almost immediate as the former Marine began to stir and challenge God’s people across the country. People of all ages listened; among them teenagers, the professional person, United States Congressmen and Senators, Governors, Mayors and elected officials. They heard a clear, uncompromising message grounded deep in old fashioned patriotism, righteous living and biblical revival.
If God is calling you for full time Christian service – surrender to Him right now. (Romans 12:1-2, Isaiah 6:3; Acts 9:6)

- Speaker: Dr. Tina Trent
- Intro by: Ken Mayo the FL Regional Director for Americans For Prosperity
- Location: Savannah Recreation Center
- Topic: Geo. Soros vs America
- Invocation: Pastor J.O. Purcell

Dr. Tina Trent

Tina Trent, PhD. was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and received a degree in English Literature from New College of Florida. She spent years working in Atlanta’s convention industry, where she decertified ILGPNWU, a crooked union she and her co-workers were forced to join. She served in V.I.S.T.A. delivering healthcare to Vietnamese and Somali refugees during Operation Homecoming, and worked as a court-appointed advocate for children, a rape crisis worker, and a lobbyist for various groups, including victims of crime and the Georgia Association of Kidney Patients. She served on a committee to address Atlanta’s teen and child prostitute crisis, lobbied for passage and funding of Georgia’ model DNA database, and led the opposition to passage of Georgia’s Hate Crimes Law, the only such law to be overturned by the courts. She has worked with vulnerable children in Atlanta’s worst neighborhoods. In 1996 she sponsored Iranian Dissident Parvin Darabi’s protest of the presence of Iran’s team at the Atlanta Olympics.
Dr. Trent studied under Dr. Elizabeth Fox-Genovese at Emory University’s Institute for Women’s Studies and continued working as a personal assistant to Drs. Fox-Genovese and Eugene Genovese until Dr. Fox-Genovese’s death in 2007. Dr. Trent’s academic work examines the impact of social movements on criminal justice.
Dr. Trent’s advocacy for women and children brought her in close contact with left-wing political networks in the South throughout the 1990’s. She worked (very briefly) for A.C.O.R.N. in New Orleans in 1991 and observed their organization, and later served on boards with the ACORN front-group, Project Vote, and other leftist groups, a relationship that ended when she came out against the Georgia hate crimes bill. She currently lives in Florida, where she is researching turn-of-the-century socialist and anarchist settlements in Florida. She has published editorials and columns about politics and crime for several newspapers in Florida and Georgia, and she blogs at Crime Victims Media Report.

Rep. Rich Nugent
![]() Topic: Voter Issues - He had to leave so the meeting started a bit early, and he took questions on the side of the room.
http://www.nugentforcongress.com/index.cfm/meet-rich American Majority - Activism Training An American Majority Activism Training answers all these questions and more. You’ll learn how to be a leader in your community and advocate for liberty most effectively. While we saw growth in the liberty movement through the tea parties of 2009, attending a protest or a rally is not enough for the times we live in. To secure liberty for our future generations, we must learn to organize and communicate effectively. From organization structure to advanced new media training, American Majority Activism Trainings will equip you to make the substantial changes in your community that our nation needs. |
Dena Espenscheid![]() American Majority teaches people how to win. Their focus is building strong grassroots "effectivists" (an activist who is effective) so that Constitutional Conservatives can win both issues and elections. Learning from the left, their philosophy is that by winning locally - an issue before the county commission, a seat on the school board, a precinct in the US President's race - the efforts snowball into a restoration of first principles nationally. We might not ever have snowballs in Florida, but we can learn how to do politics and activism effectively to join our efforts with those in other states that have also been trained by American Majority (like Wisconsin - where there are snowballs).
Dena Espenscheid is a dynamo who is packed with information. She'll present ideas on how to communicate the Conservative Message more effectively. Dena says: "The only way to win elections is to talk to people, but the words and approach we use will greatly effect the outcome. So let's be smarter as we show people that they are Conservative." |
