Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.
'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language.. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.'

Barack Obama's ICE Chief: Don't Blame Trump, ‘Cages’ For Illegals Were Built By Obama Administration
Photo by Drew Angerer/Getty Images By HANK BERRIEN June 27, 2019 The man who was the Obama administration’s chief of removing illegal immigrants said on Wednesday that it was his boss, President Barack Obama, who had the idea of putting illegal immigrant children in the “cages” that Democrats have used as a bludgeon against President Trump. Daily Wire TV Thomas Homan, Obama’s executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement between May 2013 and January 2017, was responsible for “promoting public safety and national security by maintaining direct oversight of critical ICE programs and operations to identify, locate, arrest, detain and remove illegal aliens from the United States,” according to his LinkedIn profile. Since January 2017, he has served as Acting Director for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He stated on Wednesday, “I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built,” according to The Washington Examiner. Homan, speaking at the conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies, noted a Democratic chairman who asked a Trump official, “You still keeping kids in cages?” He snapped, “I would answer the question, ‘The kids are being housed in the same facility built under the Obama administration.’ If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015.” Homan said that the Border Patrol facilities where illegal immigrants are detained “were not built to take care of children,” adding, “It’s chain link dividers that keeps children separate from unrelated adults. It’s about protecting children.” In June 2017, as The Washington Examiner pointed out, Homan told a House Appropriations subcommittee: It isn't the fault of law enforcement that people get separated. It's the fault of the perpetrator. If someone enters this country illegally and knows he's in the country illegally and is found to be in the country illegally and is ordered removed from the country and chooses to have a child in this country that's a U.S. citizen by virtue of birth, he put himself in that position, so ICE is not separating that family. Unlike other agencies, we do this despite a constant deluge of biased attacks against ICE personnel by those who disagree with the laws we enforce. While I recognize that people have the right to protest laws they don't agree with I want to emphasize to the public and to the media and to this committee that ice officers don't write the laws. They enforce the laws … We are all blessed to live in the greatest country on earth and I can't blame anybody who wants to live here… But we are also a country built on the foundation of the rule of law. Those who choose to enter this country illegally which is a crime, a federal crime, or to overstay their visa have knowingly chosen to break the law. Meanwhile, millions of people who have become permanent members of our society through our generous legal channels, they have shown their respect for the rule of law and for the American people. __________________________ Pres Trump Delivers Remarks on Modernizing Our Immigration System for a Stronger America
Undocumented immigrant from Kenya faces multiple charges in deaths of 12 Texas women
May 19, 2019 by Ben Marquis A number of prominent Democrats, including top 2020 contenders like California Sen. Kamala Harris and former Texas Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, have claimed that most illegal aliens pose no real threat to Americans, and thus, should be welcomed with open arms — and open wallets. But their arguments fall flat when faced with situations like this one: An undocumented migrant from Kenya was indicted over the weekend for the murders of 11 elderly women in Texas. The migrant, a 46-year-old former health care worker named Billy Chemirmir, was previously indicted for the death of an 81-year-old woman in March 2018, making for a total of 12 homicides all attributed to one man. Counting chargesChemirmir is a Kenyan citizen who had been living and working in the United States illegally for some time. He has been indicted on numerous counts of capital murder and attempted murder, among other charges, in Dallas County and Collin County, Texas. These charges stem from the robberies and subsequent homicides of at least a dozen women who ranged in age from 76 to 94. Chemirmir was initially arrested in March 2018 for the death of 81-year-old Lu Thi Harris, and hehas been held in police custody ever since. Subsequent investigations into his actions led to charges for 11 additional murders he is believed to have committed. Heartbreaking tragediesHarris’ body was discovered after Chemirmir failed to successfully kill a 91-year-old woman in Plano, Texas, in March 2018. He had smothered the woman with a pillow and stolen her jewelry, but paramedics were able to revive her, and police soon learned of Chemirmir by tracking his license plate. After being watched for several days, Chemirmir was spotted disposing of a jewelry box in a dumpster. That box was recovered and traced back to Harris, which resulted in Chemirmir’s arrest.Police have stated that Chemirmir used his background as a health care worker to exploit his victims’ trust and gain entry into the elderly women’s apartments in senior living facilities. He was also known for posing as a maintenance worker. Authorities revealed that they are now going through more than 750 prior cases of unattended senior women being found dead to determine if Chemirmir is connected to any of those tragedies. Par for the courseDespite cases like this one, far too many Democrats continue to dismiss the very real threat posed by illegal aliens like Chemirmir, whose crimes are perhaps even more egregious given the fact that he shouldn’t have even been in the U.S. to begin with. If a Democrat wins the White House in 2020, situations like these will only become more frequent. What a shame. ___________________________ The heart of our immigration crisis and how to kill it
There is no mention of immigration in the United States Constitution or in any of its 28 Amendments. However, U.S. Immigration Law has been around in one form or another for more than 100 years. The basis of our current immigration law is the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) of 1952: The McCarran-Walters Act. It deals with all types of immigration matters: legal, illegal, immigrant quotas, and many other issues including the acceptance of refugees and asylum seekers. Although the INA of 1952 has been amended nine times, it still remains the foundation of how we deal with Immigration. It is contained under Title 8 U.S. Code - IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY. The part of this U.S. code that is most important in understanding how the nation deals with refugees and asylum seekers is Chapter 12, Subchapter II, Part 1, and 8 U.S. Code §1158 covering Asylum. While our immigration law involving the naturalization process is well defined, its implementation is slow, tedious and expensive. However, naturalization has nowhere near the problems encountered in administering the asylum process. The difference between refugees and asylum seekers. Many people think the two are the same. Not true. There is an important difference: Refugees are foreigners living outside the U.S. who wish to gain admission through the United Nation’s program of resettling refugees. The UN High Commission on Refugees decides who are bona fide refugees and then negotiates with the United States to offer them lawful admission. In the case of asylum seekers, they are already at our border or have illegally crossed our border, and then have applied for protection from what they say is persecution in their home countries. Although the flow of refugees is controlled by both ours’ and established international laws, asylum seekers are totally uncontrolled. They show up, unannounced and uninvited, at our borders to plead for asylum or have already invaded our country. They are aided by unlawful decisions made by activist judges who have been pressured to do so by Democrat enemies of the Trump administration. They are also supported by precedents such as the Flores Settlement, a 20-year old court ruling that limits the amount of time a minor can be detained, and effectively limits the amount of time that a family can be detained together. Right now, that period of time is 20 days, after which parents and minors must be released into the general population of the United States. This effectively reinstates the old “Catch and Release” policy that President Trump has fought against with such vigor. Consequently, tens of thousands of asylum seekers, whose right to obtain asylum has yet to be decided, have been given bus fare to reach a community where they can find shelter, employment, and all the other essentials of life…and at taxpayer expense. With this going on, the rights of citizenship have been violated, and at a cost to us of more than $140 billion annually. This is wrong. It is a theft of public funds that is totally immoral and unsustainable. And it should not be permitted to continue. The most important things 8 U.S. Code §1158 says about the right to asylum: Any alien who arrives at our border or who is present within our country, no matter how they arrived there, has the right to apply for asylum. The operative phrase is a “right to apply;” not a right to automatically obtain asylum status. Children arriving at or in the United States either unaccompanied or with parents who can document their parenthood, may be admitted to apply for asylum regardless of the following exceptions: Topping this list of exceptions is that aliens may be denied asylum if they want to enter, or have entered from, a country that is not their home country where they have been persecuted. If they have first crossed into a country that does not persecute them, and where they have been safe, even for a short period of time, they have no right to proceed into the United States. This exception, if implemented under the law, which is has not, would preclude the right of most migrants from the Northern Triangle nations—Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador—from rightfully seeking asylum in the U.S. They must seek asylum in Mexico. The U.S. has an official agreement with Canada that asylum seekers trying to enter the U.S. from Canada must remain in Canada. Kris Kobach, President Trump’s new Immigration coordinator, notes that a similar formal agreement to prevent Central Americas from reaching the U.S. border can readily be struck with Mexico. Although Mexican authorities have, to some extent, provided this benefit to the U.S., Kobach thinks a written agreement is necessary. And we have the right and the power to pressure a formal agreement with Mexico. Other exceptions include: * An alien must be able to prove that an application for asylum has been filed within one year of reaching or arriving in the U.S. * An application for asylum made by an alien, who has applied previously and been denied status, will automatically be denied again so long as the applicant’s circumstances have not changed. * Aliens may also be denied asylum if they have been involved in inflicting persecution and/or unlawful punishment on others. * They can also be denied if they have been convicted or suspected of serious crimes that would deem them to be a danger to the American public. The burden of proving that an alien’s application for asylum is true rests upon the alien and on any corroborating evidence, if available, when supplied by verifiable witnesses. Very important: No court shall have jurisdiction to review any determination of the U.S. Attorney General or the Secretary of Homeland Security regarding how they’ve used these exceptions to deny an alien’s application for asylum. Only the Secretary of Homeland Security or the Attorney General may grant asylum to an alien who has applied for it in accordance with the requirements and procedures established for this purpose. 8 U.S. Code §1158 reiterates, and thereby underscores the importance of the exception that says: Aliens may not be admitted for asylum if they were firmly resettled in another, safe country prior to arriving in the United States. International law’s impact on U.S. asylum laws. Certain international agreements regarding refugees and asylum seekers have been accepted, in principle, by the U.S. One is a 1967 protocol on refugees. The other is a 1984 Convention Against Torture supporting the idea that refugees will not be sent back, against their will, to a country or territory where their life or freedom is in jeopardy. Although America has abided by these agreements, they are not treaties ratified by Congress and, therefore not U.S. law. We have every right to change or modify our involvement with them, if they become unaffordable or burdensome and disruptive to the security and sovereignty of the nation. They are certainly not legally binding on the U.S., forcing us to maintain open borders allowing millions to come here to overwhelm our resources and obliterate the rights and safety of our citizens. Three simple ways to end our asylum crises. As reported just days ago by Breitbart News and other conservative news sources, Former Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach, who is now Trump’s immigration policy coordinator, says that the president “doesn’t need Congress to stem the tide of booming levels of illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border.” Kobach believes there are three steps DHS and the Trump administration can take immediately to “unilaterally end the expanded policy of Catch and Release — where more than 17,000 illegal border crossers were released into the interior of the U.S. over the last 12 days.” One. The first step is to finalize a new regulation that DHS proposed back in September that would supersede the Flores Settlement, enabling us to detain, until their hearings, whole families together in appropriate facilities that would reduce the incentive to come here in the first place. Once they know they’re not going to be released after 20 days, and not be free to live anywhere in this country, they’ll know enough to stay home. Two. The second step is to contain these alien families in the “multiple thousands, of trailers and mobile homes that we use for hurricane disasters,” and that are now being sold off at bargain prices. Using them to house asylum applicants creates comfortable processing centers where families can await their immigration hearings. An essential part of this step would be to deploy dozens more immigration judges to these centers to speed up hearings. Of course, those alien families who don’t want to wait detained in such facilities, can voluntarily opt to return to Mexico to be harbored by the Mexican government, or they can choose to go back to their home countries. Kobach’s plan would have a fleet of commercial aircraft available to carry them home. Three. Kobach’s third step would be to get the Treasury Department to initiate a policy where asylees are not permitted to send remittances to relatives back in their home countries. Besides affecting people coming here from the Triangle Nations, this policy would deprive the Mexican government of more than $20 billion in new taxable capital sent home by Mexican aliens living here. This might pressure the Mexican government to sign a “safe third country” deal with us. Asylum seekers or economic opportunists? It’s very clear from past experience in asylum hearings, that nearly 90 percent of petitioners are denied because their applications don’t meet asylum standards. And, in reality, they are merely economic migrants (opportunists) hoping to earn far more in the U.S. while also accepting a broad range of welfare benefits costing taxpayers billions and depressing wages for many American workers. Three. Kobach claims these three steps “would solve the crisis” … “You would see a dramatic drop in the number of people coming north…and these caravans coming to an end.” Stopping the unlawful Immigration decisions of activist judges. Just over a week ago, a Ninth Circuit judge ruled that the Trump administration could not bar immigrants who enter the country illegally from applying for asylum. Only days ago, another Ninth Circuit judge ordered that the president could not force asylum applicants to go to Mexico to await their hearing dates. These rulings are unlawful for many reasons: Cliff Gilley, a Juris doctor, cum laude, from Seattle University and a spokesperson for Quora Inc., Mountainview, CA, observes: “All courts [circuits] have clearly-defined geographic jurisdictions, which is the maximum breadth of their ability to hear cases and for their opinions to be binding.” Quora Inc.is staffed by “knowledge” experts, many with the mission of helping people understand the “ins and outs” of our judicial system. Essentially, the jurisdiction of the federal courts has been defined by the Constitution, congressional statutes, and decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court. Citing this broad legal base that defines jurisdiction, Gilley believes that federal circuit court decisions were envisioned to be binding only on the courts structured within each circuit and, consequently, would affect only the population residing within the court’s geographic jurisdiction. It’s very difficult to find anything written that would contradict Cliff Gilley’s contention. Unconstitutional court rulings. And so, such opinions or decisions of federal courts--according to the Constitution, statutes and the Supreme Court—should not be forced on another federal circuit jurisdiction. Although the Ninth’s rulings can be “persuasive” or influential, they are not mandatory in other jurisdictions. Since the Ninth Circuit’s decisions may only apply within its geographic jurisdiction, it would appear its rulings, that have been forced on the rest of the country, are unconstitutional. For example, the Ninth Circuit’s decisions to overturn Trumps’ orders impacting control of immigration across our entire southern border would be “null and void” because its geographic jurisdiction covers only the border states of California and Arizona, but not New Mexico and Texas. These are within the jurisdiction of the 5th and the 10th federal circuit courts. This abuse of power by the Ninth Circuit must be stopped quickly or else America’s chief executive will have no power to hold the “reins” of government and administer to the nation. This would make the executive branch of the federal government second to, and ranked below, the judicial branch…a situation flagrantly afoul of the Constitution of the United States.Joe Angione Publisher The Conservative Way Illegal Border Crossings on Pace to Hit Almost 1 Million This Year
By Charlotte Cuthbertson March 7, 2019 Illegal border crossers sit by the Rio Grande after being rescued by Border Patrol when they got stuck crossing the river illeaglly from Mexico into Eagle Pass, Texas, on Feb. 16, 2019. (Charlotte Cuthbertson/The Epoch Times) shareWASHINGTON—Large groups of migrants from Central America, traveling by bus through Mexico, have become the new norm in illegal border crossings into the United States. In one instance, border agents encountered 334 illegal immigrants who had been dropped off by eight commercial buses right at the U.S.–Mexico border, Kevin McAleenan, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) commissioner, said in a Senate hearing on March 6. More than 70 large groups (of 100 or more migrants) have been apprehended by Border Patrol so far this fiscal year—equaling more than 12,000 apprehensions. That compares to a total of 13 large groups in all of fiscal 2018. In February alone, Border Patrol apprehended more than 66,000 people crossing the border illegally. A further 10,000 were detained after presenting at ports of entry without legal paperwork to enter the United States. “At the current pace, we are on track to encounter close to one million illegal aliens at our southern border this year,” Department of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen told the House Homeland Security Committee on March 6. El Paso UptickA recent 24-hour surge in El Paso, Texas, highlighted the issue. Border Patrol agents were inundated with several large groups of illegal aliens starting late on March 5. Two large groups—consisting primarily of Central American families and unaccompanied minors—crossed the border fence near downtown El Paso. The first group contained 112 people and the second 252, according to CBP. Several smaller groups also crossed in different locations along the El Paso metro area. In one of the groups, border agents discovered an unaccompanied 2-year-old child. In total, more than 700 illegal aliens were apprehended in the 24-hour period. “While dealing with this influx of illegal aliens, Border Patrol agents also arrested two convicted sex offenders attempting to enter illegally, while the agents were preoccupied with the large groups,” CBP said in a statement. “Both sex offenders were arrested in different groups.” Both subjects had previously served jail time in the United States before being deported, according to CBP. Another six people were arrested further east, including one who was a U.S. citizen with a lengthy criminal record and an outstanding federal warrant for escape. The El Paso sector is quickly becoming the second-busiest crossing point after the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. More than 36,000 individuals within family units have crossed illegally into the El Paso Sector since the beginning of the fiscal year in October. During the same time period in fiscal 2018, that number was 2,000. A further 5,300 unaccompanied minors illegally crossed in the sector in the fiscal year to date—up from 1,300 in the same period last year. Fixing FloresThe vast majority of the border-crossers claim a fear of returning to their country once they enter the United States; yet only a fraction (less than 10 percent) are approved for asylum by an immigration judge. But under current U.S. law, all who pass the credible-fear screening will be quickly released into the United States, regardless of the merit of the claim. McAleenan said that without a congressional fix to the Flores Settlement Agreement, the current trend will continue unabated. Under Flores, families can’t be held in detention for more than 20 days, which is not enough time for an immigration proceeding to take place. McAleenan said if a family is detained for six to eight weeks, their case could be decided. Whereas, if the family is released into the interior of the United States before their immigration hearing, 71 percent either don’t formally apply for asylum or don’t show up for their court hearing years later, accordingto the Department of Justice. McAleenan also criticized the Flores agreement for perpetuating the trafficking of children, as smugglers advertise that bringing a child makes it easy to enter the United States. In the past 10 months, CBP has encountered almost 2,400 fraudulent claims of families, most of which are adults bringing in children that aren’t their own; others are adults claiming to be under 18. “Children are being used as pawns to get into our country,” Nielsen said. “We have even uncovered ‘recycling rings,’ where innocent young people are used multiple times to help aliens fraudulently gain entry.” McAleenan said, aside from fixing U.S. immigration laws, the border must be secured—including with around 700 miles of additional fencing—as well as the continuation of work with Mexico and Central American countries to stem the flow of migrants. EmergencyPresident Donald Trump is facing a challenge to the national emergency he declared Feb. 15 in direct response to the growing border crisis. A Democratic-backed resolution to strike down the national emergency passed in the House on Feb. 26, and is yet to be taken up by the Senate. Trump said he would “100 percent” veto the resolutionshould it reach him. Both congressional houses would have to have a two-thirds majority to override a veto. Both Nielsen and McAleenan defended the president’s national emergency declaration at their respective hearings on March 6. “When you put all of the facts together, the problem is not just the vastly increasing numbers … but [also] the type of migrant that our system is not set up to protect,” Nielsen said. “Originally, it was single adults from Mexico. Now, it’s mostly Central Americans and the vast majority are vulnerable populations—which are families and children. All of that together is a crisis because the system is not built for that type of flow.” __________________________ Illegal immigrant charged with four murders in Nevada highlights border security issue
February 15, 2019 by Ben BairdTheaDesign / Shutterstock.com Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) denounced President Donald Trump’s Thursday decision to declare a national emergency to fund what the House leader says is “a wall we don’t need, to address a crisis that doesn’t exist.” But recent high-profile murders involving illegal immigrants, particularly the killings of four people in Nevada, highlight the real need for better security. The illegally-present suspect in the Nevada case will be tried immediately for the murders of two women and an elderly couple during the first weeks of 2019. Prosecutors agreed to break with legal procedure by trying 20-year-old Wilber Martinez-Guzman with four counts of murder in Reno before prosecuting the Salvadoran national with burglary and other related charges in Carson City, where he was arrested. “Generally, the jurisdiction that catches a defendant proceeds with its prosecution first,” explained Carson City District Attorney Jason Woodbury. “When we have a way to make the process a little easier on people victimized by a crime, and when those people tell us they want the murder case to go first, we absolutely listen and do our best to honor those wishes,” he said. Justice in NevadaThe killings started in Gardnerville, 50 miles outside of Reno, when 56-year-old Connie Koontz was discovered dead in her home on Jan. 10. Days later, on Jan. 13, Sophia Renken was found dead in her home under similar circumstances. The FBI was called in to assist the investigation after 81-year-old Gerald David and his wife, 80-year-old Sharon David, were found fatally shot in their Reno home on Jan. 16. Police received a tiplinking a stolen Apple watch to the murders, and they were able to link Martinez-Guzman to the stolen merchandise after he tried to use his Apple account to access the device’s features. In police custody, Martinez-Guzman admitted that he stole jewelry and a .22 caliber handgun from the David family home, where he was employed as a landscaper last summer. Two weeks after the theft, he returned to the elderly couple’s home and used their own pistol to kill them. Martinez-Guzman remains in a Carson City jail on $500,000 bail. He will be transported to a Reno facility to await trial for the serial murders. The great debateThe Nevada killing spree could affect national immigration policy as lawmakers grapple over funds to build a wall and step up security along the southern border. President Donald Trump referenced the murders in a Jan. 21 tweet, arguing that they served as justification to begin construction on a wall to halt the flow of drugs and dangerous criminals across the U.S-Mexico border. To honor the victims’ families and underscore the need for improved border security, Trump invited the Davids’ daughter Debra Bissell, granddaughter Heather Armstrong, and great-granddaughter Madison Armstrong as guests to his State of the Union speech. “Just three weeks ago, Debra’s parents Gerald and Sharon were burglarized and shot to death in their Reno, Nevada, home by an illegal alien,” Trump said, introducing his guests. “No one should ever have to suffer the horrible heartache they have had to endure.” Although open borders advocates frequently cite statistics suggesting that immigrants commit fewer crimes than naturalized citizens, a recent study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) determines that illegal aliens are more than three times as likely to end up incarcerated than their citizen counterparts. Despite making up just 3.3 percent of the U.S. population, a 2018 report from the Government Accountability Office found that 20 percent of U.S. inmates are illegal aliens. Those figures have actually declined since 2011, when undocumented immigrants made up 25 percent of prison populations. Parts of France are unlivable because of migrants, we don’t want that in Brazil – Jair Bolsonaro
By VOICE OF EUROPE 20 December 2018 Brazil’s president-elect has lashed out at France and its migration policy, the Daily Mail reports. Jair Bolsonaro said on Facebook: “Everybody knows what is happening in France. Some parts of France are simply unliveable. “You know how those people are, right? They have something in them, they don’t give up their roots and they want to make their culture, their acquired rights and their privileges prevail. “France is suffering because of that. Part of the population, part of the military, some of the institutions are starting to complain about that. We don’t want that for Brazil,” Bolsonaro said. Brazil’s next President, who won the election in October, is known for his powerful rhetoric against crime and migration. He also advocates taking back schools from liberal teachers, stimulating entrepreneurship; to reduce public funding of media and artists; allow civilians to purchase guns to protect their families and to redirect resources from cultural projects to infra-structure. Bolsonaro will be inaugurated on 1 January 2019. _________________________ Migrant caravan members issue bold demands to Trump, US government
DECEMBER 12, 2018 BY BEN MARQUIS It has been roughly one month since the Central American migrant caravan reached the southern U.S. border in Tijuana, Mexico, where the trip north ground to a halt as the effort to illegally enter the U.S. was repulsed by the U.S. border agents backed by the U.S. military and President Donald Trump. In the meantime, some of the migrants and caravan organizers have grown increasingly desperate at the unexpected delay in the original plan, and a rather bold effort to shift circumstances in favor of the migrants was launched on Tuesday as two separate groups of migrants audaciously issued lists of demands to representatives at the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana. $50,000 or let us inThe San Diego Union-Tribune reported that the first group of about 100 migrants arrived at the consulate Tuesday morning and submitted a letter with a list of complaints and demands to the U.S. government. That letter criticized past and present interventionist U.S. policy in Central America, and demanded the Trump administration either let the entirety of the caravan enter the U.S. or pay each member $50,000 for them to return to their home countries, ostensibly to start a small business. The group gave the Trump administration 72 hours to address their demands. “It may seem like a lot of money to you,” said caravan organizer Alfonso Guerrero Ulloa of Honduras. “But it is a small sum compared to everything the United States has stolen from Honduras.” Hurry up and let us all inThe second letter of demands was received by the consulate from a group of about 50 caravan members. That group urged the U.S. government to dramatically speed up the asylum process, demanding the admittance of roughly 300 asylum seekers per day as opposed to the 40-100 who are currently processed per day. That letter also demanded that the U.S. government intervene in Honduras and oust that nation’s elected leader, President Juan Orlando Hernandez, even as that letter blamed U.S. interventionist policies for causing the “refugee crisis” in the first place. The group of 50 further urged Mexican officials to stop working in coordination with the local Tijuana police to detain and deport members of the caravan. Contradictory and outrageous demandsThe two groups with disparate letters of demands were reportedly unaffiliated with each other, as was glaringly apparent by the one letter criticizing U.S. intervention in Honduras while the other demanded more intervention. Regardless, the demand letters reveal a growing sense of desperation among the caravan migrants stuck in Tijuana, as the reportedly once-6,000-strong group has dwindled by roughly half over the past month. According to a caravan organizer who spoke with Mexican officials, about 700 migrants have voluntarily returned to their home country, another 300 were deported, and some 2,500 have accepted humanitarian visas in Mexico. An unknown number of migrants have also either already entered the U.S. illegally, quietly settled in other parts of Mexico, or simply vanished without a trace. Dwindling numbers and outrageous lists of demands signify the precarious nature of the caravan’s current situation, which was summed up well by a migrant named Douglas Matute when he said: “A lot of people are leaving because there is no solution here. We thought they would let us in. But Trump sent the military instead of social workers.” President Trump made it abundantly clear from the moment the caravan first formed that it would not be allowed to enter the U.S., and he has stood firm on that. The migrants of the caravan are slowly coming to realize that Trump wasn’t bluffing — they aren’t going to just waltz into the U.S. __________________________ Most Destructive Force In 21st Century America: Endless Legal Immigration
Oct 25, 2018 Read More Articles by Frosty Wooldridge “Diversity within a nation destroys unity and leads to civil wars,” said social scientist Garret Hardin. “Immigration, a benefit during the youth of a nation, can act as a disease in its mature state. Too much internal diversity in large nations has led to violence and disintegration. We are now in the process of destabilizing America. The magic words of destabilizers are ‘diversity’ and ‘multiculturalism’.” Since the egregiously senseless 1965 Immigration Reform Act that opened our floodgates to enormous immigration numbers, our U.S. Congress flooded America with an added 140 million people within 40 years. If left to continue, another 140 million people expect to make America home within 30 years. When Congress passed the Act in 1965, only 3.5 billion people inhabited the planet. Unfortunately, third world countries did not understand Earth Day and birth control, thus, they added 4.1 billion to reach 7.6 billion people globally. And because of their wretched lives in their own countries, they all want to immigrate to America. Your children face this demographic future: Ten minute “Immigration off the Charts”. In 2018 and beyond, legal immigration proves itself the most destructive force in American history. Nothing in our history will prove as destructive as immigration. An endless line of legal and illegal immigrants overwhelms America’s borders. Their desperate numbers grow by 80,000,000 (million) new babies, net gain, worldwide annually. Third world countries explode their birth rates beyond carrying capacity for their citizens. The results play out in lack of food, water and resources. Latest reports show 4,000,000 children die annually of starvation and 8,000,000 adults. (Source: United Nation report on worldwide starvation rates.) That total number of displaced refugees, the biggest single-year increase in the history of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), equates to 44,500 a day and brings the total number worldwide to 68.5 million refugees looking to migrate. Within 20 years, that 68.5 million refugees expect to explode to over 100,000,000 (million) refugees worldwide. Why? Third world countries add 1 billion more humans every 12 years. In this five-minute video, it brings you a greater understanding of America’s immigration predicament. In a five minute astoundingly simple yet brilliant video, “Immigration, Poverty, and Gum Balls”, Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.ORG, graphically illustrates the impact of overpopulation. Take five minutes to see for yourself. While most of our 535 Congressional Critters continue to leave our doors wide open, they lack any understanding of the long-term consequences. My lifelong friend, the late Dr. Albert Bartlett, University of Colorado physics professor and population expert said, “Humanity does not understand the deadly consequences of exponential growth.” Essentially, he said that anyone who promotes endless growth and endless immigration equates to being an “innumerate” or mathematically illiterate. In other words, you can only cram a limited number of people onto a plane, dance floor, pool or movie theater. Once you overload that plane, it cannot fly or if it gets off the ground, it crashes. Therefore, to continue importing 1.2 million legal immigrants into America annually, and another 500,000 illegally each year, our civilization faces collapses at some point in the future. It’s a mathematical reality. And yet, President Trump doesn’t understand it. All 535 Congressional Critters don’t understand it. All the top big wigs in banking, commerce, radio, TV and newspapers don’t understand exponential growth. Nonetheless, all of them or their kids will, at some point in the next 30 years, face harsh consequences as to water shortages, energy exhaustion and resource exhaustion. Not to mention our environment and quality of life degrading beyond repair. What confounds this journalist: why doesn’t anyone with a three-digit IQ see what’s coming? We’ve got seven states facing water shortages in 2018. We’ve got horrific gridlock in our cities. We’ve got air pollution clouding our cities’ air and dropping acid rain on our soils. We’ve got prices skyrocketing on goods and services. We’ve got species extinction rates accelerating. We’ve got ghettoes and crime exploding because no one can address the basic causes of poverty: just like in third world countries. We’ve got racial conflict growing instead of diminishing. The greater our numbers, the greater our consequences. And then, when you understand Garret Hardin’s warnings on multiculturalism and diversity, your heart must sink at what the future holds for your kids. This country expects to add 100 million more immigrants from 195 different countries within 30 years. That equates to 100 million people with 195 different world views, religions, cultures and languages. Why doesn’t anyone see the consequences? You can see Europe’s destruction with Islamic immigrants. You can see their cultures being destroyed. You can see their cities turned into chaos. You can see Sharia Law advancing on every country in Europe and Canada. It’s advancing into America at breakneck speed. We now feature an average of 25 honor killings of Moslem women annually in the USA and 500,000 female genital mutilation cases. We’ve got arranged marriages and gays in Detroit or Minneapolis must flee for their lives. (Source: Honor killings and FGM, Feb 2, 2018, White House Press room, DHS ass’t DA, Ed O’Callihan report) “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any faith, but to become dominant. The Qur’an should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” Omar Ahmed, director of Council on American Islamic Relations. And much like Europe and Canada, we, the American people along with our leaders, sit back and watch it happen to their country without even a whimper. We let Congress continue the immigration invasion without pause. What are your kids going to do with another 140,000,000 (million) people added to this country in 30 years? At this rate of speed, legal and illegal immigration will destroy the United States of America from within by 2050. © 2018 Frosty Wooldridge – All Rights Reserved Frosty Wooldridge possesses a unique view of the world, cultures and families in that he has bicycled around the globe 100,000 miles, on six continents and six times across the United States in the past 30 years. ___________________________ Texas Company Caught Hiring Illegals. Now They’re Down $5 Million
By Neetu Chandak August 30, 2018 at 1:11pm A company in Texas must forfeit $5.5 million to the government for hiring illegal aliens over a course of nine years, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas. Waste Management of Texas hired at least three managers who actively encouraged illegal aliens to work between 2003 to April 2012, according to a Wednesday news release from the attorney’s office. Many workers were hired or rehired with little to no regard to authorization status at the Houston location. “The non-prosecution agreement requires Waste Management to continue its substantial remedial measures to address all past immigration violations and forfeit more than $5.5 million in proceeds gained from hiring an illegal workforce at the Afton [Street] location,” U.S. Attorney Ryan Patrick said in a statement. At least 10 employees were fired because they did not have documentation in January 2012. The aliens, as a result, were told to steal identities of actual U.S. citizens or individuals with legal status in order to work at the company. Managers also gave terminated aliens identities of those legally in the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations conducted the investigation over five years, where they found 16 illegal aliens working at the Houston location in April 2012. Company records showed that nearly 100 employees either used identities that did not belong to them or were fraudulently documented, the news release said. Three managers were indicted in May 2014 for attempting to encourage illegal immigration by employing illegal aliens to help waste trucks pick up garbage between 2008 and 2012. The managers were convicted and given sentences between 27 to 94 months. “The three employees involved intentionally broke pre-existing immigration compliance rules, in clear disregard of company policies,” Waste Management of Texas said in a statement to The Daily Caller News Foundation. The organization has set up a compliance program to stop identity fraud and monitors staffing agencies hired to provide temporary workers. Waste Management Inc. is North America’s largest residential recycler and renewable energy provider, serving over 21 million customers, according to the organization’s website. Its headquarters are in Houston. HSI has been cracking down on worksite-related arrests surrounding immigration violations under the Trump administration. Officials detained 160 illegal immigrantswho were hired to work at Load Trail, a trailer manufacturing company in Paris, Texas, on Tuesday. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas did not immediately respond to TheDCNF’s request for comment. __________________________ Amber Heard Tweets About An 'ICE Checkpoint' And Accidentally Reveals Why Hollywood REALLY Cares About Illegal Immigration
What will they do without their maids?! John Moore/Getty Images ByEMILY ZANOTTI July 3, 2018 Hollywood actress (and Johnny Depp ex-wife) Amber Heard accidentally revealed exactly what Hollywood anti-immigration activists think of the people they're "saving" when she tweeted Tuesday morning about an "ICE checkpoint" near her home in Los Angeles. "Just heard there's an ICE checkpoint in Hollywood, a few blocks from where I live" Heard tweeted. Everyone better give their housekeepers, nannies and landscapers a ride home tonight." racistheard.jpgThat's . . . revelatory. And not just because it's actually racist to assume all "illegal immigrants" are serving as domestics and in other unskilled jobs. It begs the question as to whom Hollywood immigration activists really believe they're protecting by showing up fashionably late to immigration protests along the California border, but early enough to get their photo taken for Instagram. Amber Heard, at least, seems to believe that an illegal immigrant underclass exists largely to serve her A-list and B-list kind as potentially underpaid, overworked, illegally hired servants, who have no recourse to the Occupation Safety and Health Administration, or state or federal authorities, if they're mistreated or abused, lest they have to admit their lack of legal status and be deported. Many who agree with Donald Trump on immigration understand that the whole system needs to be reformed, so that those who want to come to the United States for a better life aren't trapped in low-pay, dead-end jobs. Heard deleted the tweet after TMZ pointed it out. As for the "checkpoints," well, it appears that they were fictitious (and it's the Border Patrol, not ICE, that operates checkpoints, anyway). _________________________ BOMBSHELL: Girl Never Separated At Border; Mom Paid Smuggler And Abandoned Family, Father Says
John Moore/Getty Images ByRYAN SAAVEDRA @REALSAAVEDRA June 21, 2018 The father of the 2-year-old Honduran girl that became the face of the media's recent attack on the Trump administration for its "zero tolerance" policy on illegal immigration says that she was never separated from her mother at the border and that the mother abandoned her three other children and paid a human smuggler thousands of dollars to illegally enter the United States, all against his wishes. In an explosive interview with the Daily Mail, Denis Javier Varela Hernandez revealed that his wife, Sandra, had always wanted to move to the U.S. to have access to better economic opportunities, but that she left with their daughter without telling anyone. The Mail reports: Denis said his wife and daughter were never separated by border control agents and remain together. ... Denis, who works as a captain at a port on the coast of Puerto Cortes, explained that things back home were fine but not great, and that his wife was seeking political asylum. ... He said he heard from friends that his wife paid $6,000 for a coyote - a term for someone who smuggles people across the border. "I didn't support it," Hernandez told The Mail. "I asked her, why? Why would she want to put our little girl through that? But it was her decision at the end of the day." "I don't have any resentment for my wife, but I do think it was irresponsible of her to take the baby with her in her arms because we don't know what could happen," Hernandez added. Speaking about how his other three kids are handling the situation, Hernandez said, "The kids see what's happening. They're a little worried but I don't try to bring it up that much. They know their mother and sister are safe now." Hernandez's claims come after the media and the Democrats used the photo to try to portray the Trump administration as being heartless toward immigrants, specifically young children...(Read More...) The truth: No family separations at U.S. legal border entry points
There never have been…and anyone who tells you different is lying. Those who apply legally for asylum in the United States face long waits and can expect major inconveniences. But children being “ripped from their parents’ arms” isn’t one of them. Nobody has to give up their kids to begin legal entry into the U.S. What is actually happenings at our southern border is obscured by lies, confusion and the rush of uninformed people to correct something they think is hurting immigrant children. Here now is the first attempt to cut through the lies and the ignorance so that you can understand the appalling crisis that’s unfolding along our border with Mexico. Let’s start at the beginning. The entry process for refugee status begins with filing an application for asylum. Next comes an asylum interview, which according to our Immigration and Nationality Act “should take place within 45 days after application filing. A decision on the application should then be made within 180 days.” But usually this takes much longer, sometimes years. The delay is caused by the torrent of new applications that have created a severe backlog of almost 700,000 open cases in U.S. immigration courts. Immigration judges must render the decision to allow a petitioner to be accepted for asylum. In the meantime, applicants must wait somewhere. Waiting facilities in the U.S. are severely limited, and so those admitted to stay here in a U.S.-sponsored facility are few in number. During the Obama years, applicants waiting for asylum decisions were released into the U.S. ostensibly to stay with relatives, friends or charitable organizations. Most never showed up for their interviews or appeared at court dates established to determine their asylum status. They were allowed to disappear into cities and towns all across America to become a burden to taxpayers, and often, as in the case of MS-13 and other gang members, to threaten citizens and commit deadly crimes. But at no time was any asylum petitioner, who followed our rules, required by U.S. law to be separated from their children. Protective custody of asylum children occurs only when their safety is threatened. When families don’t present themselves at legal border ports of entry and instead commit a crime by sneaking into the U.S. anywhere along our 2,000-mile-long southern border, their children can be placed in protective custody. It would be unseemly to toss them into criminal detention facilities along with their parents, exposing them daily to the many felons who share these facilities. And so, we’ve chosen to admit these kids into protective keeping by caring professionals who attend to all their essential needs. But this practice may now have changed for the worse. Also, subject to safekeeping by U.S. officials are children travelling alone or accompanied by adults who can’t prove an actual parent or guardian relationship to the children. We are not a nation lacking in concern for minors arriving here who have no means of support and may be under the influence of persons who would mistreat them. Currently, about 80 percent of the 2,300 children in our custody are those who came here alone; another 10 percent are kids arriving with adult companions who could not prove they were actually parents or legal guardians. Immigrant children in our custody never had it so good. Whether travelling alone or with parents, these children are constantly at risk for sexual abuse, slavery, deadly beatings, starvation and other forms of mistreatment. When kids are pushed out the door by parents to travel with unknown companions, usually “cayotes” to reach the U.S, they’re in for big trouble right from the start. And the worst of it comes to these kids when, as reported, some are sold by their parents to smugglers to get them to the U.S. without any concern for the likelihood that their kids will be forced into the drug and sex trades. This is where the devastating separation of children from their families occurs. This is where the cruelty to children and the heartache really begin. The undeniable fact is too many unscrupulous parents and “guardians” are misusing their kids, and putting them in great danger, in order to steal benefits here that they don’t deserve…benefits we’ve established for our own poor and destitute. Our immigration law states that economic advantage is not a valid reason for obtaining asylum. And so, when we place these minors into our protective keeping, they receive a level of compassionate care they rarely, if ever, get at home. The San Diego Union newspaper has investigated the conditions in which immigrant children are held in custody. The paper reported these conditions are the equivalent of well-run American boarding schools. The premises that house them may be secured by a chain-link fence, but they’re staffed by Health and Human Services professionals who administer the best in food, health care, human comforts, including air conditioning, and recreation in a clean, safe environment. Doctors have vouched for the excellent care and conditions under which these children are maintained. In-person observations of these kids in our custody clearly indicate that many would like this level of care never to end. To rail against this safekeeping, calling it criminal and abusive, is an outrage Americans should reject as criminal in itself. President Trump’s zero-tolerance for illegal immigrants is not cruel and abusive. It’s the law. And Trump didn’t create it. Its official title is the Trafficking Victims Prevention Reauthorization Act, and was signed in 2008 by then President George W. Bush. The law was also enforced, using even stronger measures, by President Barack Obama, who condemned immigrant children in custody to live in dog cages (photos posted on Fox News). Where were all the hysterical out cries against family separation when Obama and Bush were in the White House? Furthermore, where does former first lady, Laura Bush, find reason to complain about a law her husband, G.W., put in place. It seems clear that Laura, perhaps due to getting on in years, doesn’t have a clue about what’s going on at the border of her own state of Texas. Zero tolerance has had moderate success in dealing with the slow-rolling criminal invasion of the entire United States. Border incursions have soared five-fold since 2017, and border arrests are trying to keep pace. They’re up 160 percent this year over the first half of last year. More needs to be done to safeguard our nation. Trump is right. If we were to permit foreigners to enter the country without any control, through open borders, the tidal wave of self-styled refugees would number in the tens of millions annually. Dan Patrick, the Lt. Governor of Texas, provides ample proof of this. He states that each year, across the length of our border than runs from Brownsville, TX to San Diego CA, border patrol agents capture 400,000 illegals attempting to steal into the U.S. Patrick adds that ICE estimates they’re only stopping about one-in-five of those who attempt to enter illegally. An unaffordable burden to taxpayers. Congress’ inability to act on viable immigration reform suggests that the illegal migrant invasion of America might not end until our country is completely overrun by uncontrollable hordes of squabbling, aggressive and arrogant foreigners. The trouble this brings will be devastating. The expense will be enormous. It’s already approaching the unaffordable. For example, the Department of Homeland Security estimates that it costs U.S. taxpayers the equivalent of $35,000 per immigrant child annually to provide for their essential services. In contrast, this is said to be vastly more than we spend to provide care for each of the 13-million U.S. children who now live below the poverty line. Fake liberal outrage attacks U.S. sovereignty. The disgraceful waves of angry criticism of President Trump coming from an army of Democrat liars and RINO dimwits over so-called cruel family separations have proved to be so fraudulent as to approach treason. Why? Because it is based on blatant lies and a total absence of concern that open borders will give our enemies another huge opportunity to breach our security and lay waste to our cities and towns. It’s all done to grab off more illegal votes from a burgeoning population of resident aliens, who should be held ineligible to participate in our elections, but often are not. This mounting compulsion to ruin Trump by ruining America has forced our usually fearless president to give up some ground to his assailants. His recently signed executive order was written to quell the fake outrage from liberals over family separations by essentially decreeing that, when parents illegally enter the U.S and are detained, their children are incarcerated with them, instead of being compassionately housed in a separate protected environment. This makes absolutely no sense. We don’t send American children to jail along with their parents when they break our laws. It’s a sad, unmistakable instance of the deep state winning another battle against Trump’s great agenda for America. Only you can stop this massive takeover of America. You’re facing a massive assault on traditional American values…our culture…our way of life. This also includes an endless misappropriation of the resources necessary for the survival of our poorest and most disadvantaged American families. Call your Congressional representatives to demand that they stop this assault. Support new legislation that eliminates the potential for foreign influences to separate you from your rights and privileges as U.S. citizens. Gather publicly in great numbers in Washington D.C. and in state capitals to express your dissatisfaction for the way legislators have abandoned the needs of the American people. Let your elected officials know for certain that, although we respect our moral obligation to aid outsiders who urgently need our assistance, we demand that the bulk of our available resources be directed to our own needy citizens, of which there are millions worthy of our assistance but not getting it. We are the most generous and compassionate society in the world. Don’t let anyone tell you we aren’t doing our full share to alleviate want and persecution wherever it exists. __________________________ MEMBERS OF ILLEGAL-IMMIGRANT CARAVAN ARRIVING AT BORDER SCALE FENCE IN PROTEST.
April 29, 2018 by William La Jeunesse, Travis Fedschun A caravan of hundreds of Central Americans that has traveled through Mexico over the past month has arrived at the southern U.S. border on Sunday, setting up a showdown at the nation’s busiest border crossing as the group turns themselves over to border inspectors seeking asylum. The group of roughly 200 people, including women and young children, is expected to turn themselves over to border inspectors at San Diego’s San Ysidro border crossing around 4 p.m. ET after arriving in Tijuana last week, claiming they have a credible fear of persecution at home. Demonstrators gathered along the border to hold a rally in the hours before crossing over, with some people scaling the fence. “The only thing I would tell Mr. Trump is to have a conscious and to look at all the people and the way they suffer. Because the people, they are coming from those countries, they are not doing it for pleasure,” Osman Salvador Ulla Castro, who is from Honduras, told Fox News. “They face danger and extortions and they are looking for a better life.” The Border Patrol said Saturday that several groups of families from the caravan tried to enter the U.S. illegally by scaling parts of the “dilapidated scrap metal border fence” near San Ysidro. “In several of these incidents, children as young as 4 years old, and in one case a pregnant female, were detected entering the United States illegally through a dark, treacherous canyon that is notorious for human and drug smuggling,” U.S. Customs and Border Protection San Diego Chief Patrol Agent Rodney Scott said. “As a father myself, I find it unconscionable that anyone would expose a child to these dangerous conditions.” The Trump administration has been tracking the caravan since it started March 25 near the Guatemala border, calling it a threat to the U.S., in addition to promising a swift response. A demonstration on the border in Tijuana, Mexico, as a caravan of Central Americans prepares for their border crossing. (AP ) The administration has also claimed the caravan is a deliberate attempt to overwhelm U.S. legal system and the courts. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said last week that asylum claims will be resolved “efficiently and expeditiously,” but the asylum-seekers should seek it in the first safe country they reach, including Mexico. Asylum-seekers are typically separated from their children and held up to three days at the border before being turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. If they pass an asylum officer’s initial screening, they may be detained for several months until their court hearing or released with ankle monitors. People climb the border wall fence as a caravan of migrants and supporters reached the United States-Mexico border near San Diego, California, U.S., April 29, 2018. (REUTERS/Mike Blake) Nearly 80 percent of asylum-seekers passed the initial screening from October through December, according to the latest numbers available, but few are likely to eventually win asylum. Any asylum seekers making false claims to U.S. authorities could be prosecuted, as could anyone who assists or coaches immigrants on making false claims, according to Nielsen. Administration officials and their allies claim asylum fraud is growing and that many who seek it are coached on how to do so. U.S. immigration lawyers who went to Tijuana have denied coaching people in the caravan, but have said they have been providing one-on-one counseling to assess the merits of their cases and how asylum works in the U.S. “Like how to defend myself with immigration, how to carry myself,” a 16-year-old unaccompanied minor from Honduras told Fox News on Saturday regarding the meetings he’s had with lawyers. Heather Crone, of U.S. advocacy group Show Up for Racial Justice, said Sundays he’s found 80 people in America who have agreed to sponsor caravan members if they’re released while their petitions are pending. Members of a caravan from Central America walk next to the border fence between Mexico and the U.S., before a gathering in a park and prior to preparations for an asylum request in the U.S., in Tijuana, Mexico April 29, 2018. (REUTERS/Edgard Garrido) Attorney General Jeff Sessions has called the caravan “a deliberate attempt to undermine our laws and overwhelm our system,” pledging to send more immigration judges to the border to resolve cases if needed. The San Ysidro crossing, which admits about 75,000 people a day into the country, may be unable to take asylum-seekers if it faces too many at once, forcing people to wait in Mexico until it has more room, Pete Flores, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s San Diego field office director, told the Associated Press. Flores said earlier this month that the port can hold about 300 people temporarily. The Associated Press contributed to this report. Source: Fox News ___________________________ Let’s stop whining about the plight of DACA people
DACA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is part of the reason why illegal immigrants in this country cost American taxpayers about $139 billion in unnecessary expense annually. It is an illegal program launched against current U.S. immigration law by an executive order signed in 2012 by former president Barack Obama. Since then about 800,000 immigrants, who are said to have been children when they arrived in the U.S. illegally, have received protection from deportation, been allowed to legally work, obtain driver's licenses, and go to school in the U.S. The main reason for the program, according to Obama, was that although these young people were brought to this country illegally by their parents, they’re here through no fault of their own. Applicants for DACA status had to be younger than 31 years old when the program began. They also had to prove they had lived in the United States continuously since June 15, 2007, and that they had arrived in the U.S. before the age of 16. Since there are no records of when their parents actually brought these children into the U.S., and no documentation that they’ve lived here continuously, such proof is hard to provide, making the entire DACA program heavily suspect. The Trump administration has announced it intends to end the DACA program by March 5th if Congress doesn't find a more permanent solution to legalize their continued residency here in the U.S. Debate in the Senate on a solution to the DACA problem is set to begin immediately. NumbersUSA , that reports on immigration trends, states several Republicans as well as nearly all Democrats favor passing a massive amnesty for DACA recipients that eventually would allow them to use chain immigration to legalize the entry of their entire families, many of whom would require huge amounts of welfare money to survive here. To these members of Congress, the plight of DACA people is so perilous that we must eventually give them, undeservedly so, our most precious gift: citizenship. It’s right to say that DACA people should not be punished for the illegal acts of their parents. But it’s also true that they should not be rewarded for their parents’ illegal actions. What then, should be done to protect their status here in the U.S.? Have DACA people had anything to complain about? For openers, they’ve already received a lot just by being permitted to be here and not suffer deportation. They are far safer, better educated and more prosperous than they could have been remaining in their birth countries. In the last decade nearly seven million foreigners, who applied for legal residence here, were granted citizenship through the nation’s lawful naturalization process. Their path to rightful citizenship was long, and required considerable effort and expense. Since our law demanded that they endure naturalization, we can’t in any fairness permit others who were illegally brought into the U.S. to be blessed with citizenship, especially while doing absolutely nothing to merit it. This would be a travesty of justice. It would make a mockery of our immigration law and spread contempt for the naturalization process among those millions who abided by it to become citizens. Many DACA recipients are now protesting the possible termination of the illegal DACA program. They insist that to remain here and proceed toward citizenship is a right that’s due them even though most have done nothing to earn that right. This is ingratitude of the worst kind. A president acting without authority created DACA, and nothing was done by our judicial system to rescind his illegal executive order. In essence, our federal government helped create and perpetuate the DACA program, and now, as an honorable nation, we must accept responsibility for allowing foreigners to breach our immigration law. It’s time to make things right, but do it without causing harm to DACA recipients. John Horvath II, founder of the Return to Order website explains that “falsely framing the debate as one over the welfare of DACA people, liberals have turned them into pawns in a political game…We should never reward those who break the law either directly or indirectly. Respect for the law is one of the foundations of a civilized political order. When the rule of law is disregarded, as in the case of parents who enter illegally with their children, it is a matter that affects the common good. Children are taught [bad] lessons when they see the illegal acts of their parents rewarded with benefits.” A better alternative must be available for dealing with the presence of DACA people. The case for “Certified Permanent Residency” As a nation that wants to abide by its laws, the best we can do for DACA recipients is to ensure that the most important benefit of their condition here, unobstructed residency, is maintained in the form of Certified Permanent Residency status. I’ve touched on this before. But the idea needs far more awareness and support than I alone can provide. If what I describe here makes sense to you, please talk it up with everyone you know. With luck, news of it will reach the halls of Congress. Similar to a “green card,” certified permanent residency would be given as a formal certificate, but one that does not require renewal every ten years. The benefits of certified permanent residency would be: · Lifetime standing as a permanent legal resident of the U.S. · Citizenship for children born in the United States · Full freedom to pursue work of any kind. · Access to education opportunities, but paid for by the recipient. · Access to affordable healthcare programs, also paid for by the recipient. · Eligibility for other welfare benefits and Social Security only when paid for by deductions from earned income. · Driving privileges and freedom to locate anywhere in the U.S. What certified permanent residency would not offer: · A path to citizenship. · Continued permanent residency if convicted of a felony. · An opportunity for other aliens, currently not DACA recipients, to become certified permanent residents. · Any benefits whatsoever paid for at taxpayer expense. · Citizenship opportunities for parents. · Access to chain immigration for any other family members. Furthermore, the DACA program would cease to exist immediately upon the inauguration of the Certified Permanent Residency program. Citizenship must always be protected and reserved as the most precious gift we can bestow on those deserving applicants who honor our immigration law. Certified permanent residency is the only way to achieve this in the case of those here illegally, even “through no fault of their own.” __________________________ Refugee Council USA reports that refugee numbers are way down, yes, we know
Posted by Ann Corcoran on December 30, 2017 In just a couple of days I will be reporting on the number of refugees admitted to the US in the first three months of the fiscal year which began on October 1, 2017. The refugee arrival numbers as news hook! But, the lobbying arm of the refugee industry--RCUSA—is tracking the numbers every two weeks in order to have regular fresh news with which to whack the Trump Administration. The last time I saw this concerted effort to supply refugee admission numbers to the media on a regular basis was way back in 2007/2008 when they smacked down President Bush every month for his slow-walking Iraqi refugees in to the US. Long time readers might remember the fun I had making fun of AP reporter Matthew Lee who could be counted on to report Bush LOW numbers at the close of each month presumably at the behest of his friends in the refugee industry. Chief Trump basher at RCUSA: Danielle Grigsby, associate director of Refugee Council USA. By the way, RCUSA is the same lobbying consortium (members listed below) that recently joined with CAIR in organizing an anti-Trump rally in DC and hired the Podesta Group to lobby certain Senate Republicans. (Podesta went under, wonder if they got their money’s worth before it did!) Reader Robin sent me this report a few minutes ago from WFPL in Louisville, Kentucky. So they are at it again, creating a regular news hook about numbers and local media is biting. Besides the opportunity to whack Trump, what they are deceptively doing is trying to get the media and the uneducated public to believe that the CEILING, set by the President for each fiscal year, is a goal that must be attained. It is not! When Trump set the level at 45,000 for FY18 that only means he cannot go over that, there is nothing in refugee law that says he cannot be significantly under the CAP/CEILING. And, I find it so tiresome that they continue to compare Trump’s admission numbers to the highest three-month period that Obama ever reached—the three months as he was walking out the door at the White House. WFPL: According to Grigsby’s group, about 11,000 refugees should have arrived so far this fiscal year, though she said it’s not unprecedented to see fewer arrivals in the first quarter of the fiscal year. From October 1, 2016 to January 1, 2017, roughly the first quarter of fiscal year 2017, more than 25,000 individuals were resettled in the United States.. Here (below) are their numbers (that served as a news hook for the Kentucky station) for the most recent 2 week period. In order to reach 45,000 (if it were a goal to be attained) they would have to see refugee arrivals at 3,750 per month. So, in FY18, so far, the Trump Administration is significantly lower that that. They have a Report Card! Now see how low the mean-spirited Trump numbers were for the first two months of the fiscal year. Here are the members of the Refugee Council USA (note that all nine of the federal resettlement contractors are here): See my ever-growing archive on the refugee industry’s lobby arm, RCUSA, by clicking here. And, I will be back right after the first of January to tell you what I think about Trump’s numbers for the first quarter of the fiscal year. __________________________ ICE ‘Raging Bull’ Operation Leads to Arrest of 267 MS-13 Gang Members
Photo: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement by BOB PRICE16 Nov 2017 Washington, D.C Nearly 300 MS-13 gang members are behind bars following the conclusion of a joint international law enforcement effort led by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). “Operation Raging Bull” resulted in the arrests of 214 MS-13 members and affiliates in the U.S. and 53 in El Salvador.ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents executed Operation Raging Bull in support of the Department of Justice’s recent prioritization of enforcement actions against violent transnational gangs. “MS-13 has long been a priority for ICE. However we are now combating the gang with renewed focus and an unprecedented level of cooperation among DHS’s components and our domestic and international partners,” ICE Deputy Director and Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Thomas Homan said in a statement obtained by Breitbart Texas. “ICE has the ability to pursue complex criminal cases using our statutory authorities and to prevent crime by using our administrative arrest authorities to remove gang members from the country. We will not rest until every member, associate, and leader of MS-13 has been held accountable for their crimes, and those in this country illegally have been removed.” Phase one of the operation followed up on the results of an 18-month investigation in El Salvador. The probe led to the arrests of 53 MS-13 gang members and affiliates in El Salvador. In early October, the second phase began in the States. Running from October 8 to November 11, law enforcement officers and agents from federal, state, and local agencies arrested 214 gang members and affiliates across the U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions repeatedly stressed the importance of defeating MS-13. “With more than 10,000 members across 40 states, MS-13 is one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the United States today,” Sessions said in a statement on Thursday. “President Trump has ordered the Department of Justice to reduce crime and take down transnational criminal organizations, and we will be relentless in our pursuit of these objectives.” “So far this year, we have secured convictions against more than 1,200 gang members and worked with our partners in Central America to arrest and charge some 4,000 MS-13 members,” the AG explained. “These 267 arrests are the next step toward making this country safer by taking MS-13 off of our streets for good.” Ninety-three of the 214 arrests made in the U.S. were based on federal and/or state criminal charges, officials stated. Those charges include: murder, aggravated robbery, racketeering influenced corrupt organization (RICO) offenses, violent crime in aid of racketeering (VICAR) offenses, narcotics trafficking, narcotics possession, firearms offenses, domestic violence, assault, forgery, driving under the influence, and illegal entry/reentry. Immigration violations made up the remaining 121 arrests. Operation Raging Bull – Nations of Origin chart – ICE Only 16 of those arrested were U.S. citizens, the report states. Illegal aliens made up the overwhelming majority of those arrested. Officials arrested a total of 198 immigrants — 193 of which had no legal status. The MS-13 gang members came from El Salvador (135), Honduras (29), Mexico (17), Guatemala (12), Ecuador (4) and Costa Rica (1). Of those arrested after entering the U.S. illegally, ICE officials reported that 64 came to the U.S. as Unaccompanied Alien Children — most of those are now adults. Operation Raging Bull – Arrest Map – ICE ICE officials provided examples of the types of crimes carried out by these MS-13 gang members:
Operation Raging Bull – Most Wanted List – ICE ICE uses the following criteria in confirming MS-13 gang membership or affiliation: Individuals are confirmed as gang members if they admit membership in a gang; have been convicted of violating Title 18 USC 521 or any other federal or state law criminalizing or imposing civil consequences for gang-related activity; or if they meet certain other criteria such as having tattoos identifying a specific gang or being identified as a gang member by a reliable source. Gang associates are individuals who exhibit gang member criteria but who are not formally initiated into the gang. Law enforcement officers encountering these individuals will determine whether indications of gang association are present by referring to the gang membership criteria. July 7, 2017 by Ian MIles Cheong A 24-year-old illegal alien named Lorenzo Alonso Romero allegedly drove over three women in his Oldsmobile on May 27. The Laredo Morning-Times reports that Romero, who is currently being held in Webb County jail, claims to have driven over the women in an act of retaliation against the first victim as revenge for a police report she filed against him two years ago. The victim was taken to Laredo Medical Center for her injuries. Two hours after he allegedly ran down the first victim, Romero allegedly drove over a second woman, who was jogging near a school — twice. She was also taken to the same hospital. Speaking to the victims, police learned that the suspect vehicle matched in both cases. A third call was made to 911 on the same day, with a report that the same vehicle had struck another woman. She was also treated for injuries at the LMC. Speaking to police, the victim described the same vehicle. The victim says that she noticed the vehicle stalking her before it hit her. Lorenzo indicated to police that he was upset over the fact that he was upset over a report filed against him two years ago by a neighbor. He claims the allegations were false. “When asked why two years later he was still upset, he stated he was just upset with women in general and was taking out his frustration on random women he would encounter,” states the criminal complaint. The complaint states that Lorenzo took full responsibility for “intentionally and knowingly struck all three women with his vehicle, a black 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora, which he borrowed from the car lot where he is employed at.” This isn’t Romero’s first brush with the law. In 2015, he allegedly attempted to stab a man during an altercation. The Laredo-Morning Times states that he was also charged with assaulting women on two separate occasions — including an attempted stabbing. In the second case, he allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck after she told him to stop drinking. The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement states that Romero was deported twice to his native country of Mexico. He’s currently being held in jail on an immigration detainer. Source: The Daily Caller ___________________________ House Judiciary Chairman Drops Bombshell Claim About Obama & What Just Happened In Maryland
Posted by Matthew Bernstein | Mar 24, 2017 House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (Pictured Speaking) Made A BOLD Claim Against The Obama Administration. It’s not a secret that former President Obama’s immigration acts have put the United States in more danger. His refusal to enforce strict border laws made it so every illegal immigrant was welcomed in the country. On top of that, deportations of illegals were highly limited. Even though some of these illegal immigrants have heinous criminal records, deportations were still few and far between. That changed when Donald Trump was elected President. Since he has been in office, there have been several executive orders aimed at getting illegals out of the country. The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been hard at work deporting illegals. Even though they have more freedom to do their job, they can’t catch everyone right away. As a result, there are still disgusting acts committed. One of these disgusting acts happened in Maryland, where two illegal immigrants raped a 14-year-old girl. It was this act that made a member of the House Judiciary Committee write a letter, which detailed how it was the fault of the Obama administration for this incident. Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), the Chairman of the Committee, wrote that the “lax immigration policies” of the previous administration led to the rape in question. The Chairman Of The House Judiciary Committee Blames The Obama Administration For What Happened In Maryland. This letter was then sent to the secretary of Homeland Security, John Kelly. That was what the Washington Examiner reported at least. These are some serious accusations, but they do hold up. Many of the actions that the Obama administration did, particularly in the last year, opened the nation to more illegal immigrants. The former administration actually stopped a border patrol program in the waning days before Trump took office. They were actively looking for ways to remove the border programs. Why would they do this unless they were trying to help out the illegal immigrants? Goodlatte’s letter didn’t hold back. He destroyed the Obama administration over their immigration policies. Not only that, but he gave a warning about how these types of incidents would continue unless the law enforcement can do their job. “Once again, we have an example of how the Obama administration’s lax immigration enforcement policies resulted in a life being serious harmed—in this case, the life of an innocent 14 year-old-girl who was simply attending school. There is no doubt that such heinous crimes by illegal immigrants who were encountered by the Obama administration, not removed by the Obama administration, and instead actually set free in American communities by the Obama administration, and will continue to occur until sufficient enforcement has occurred.” The Maryland case has been receiving a tremendous amount of attention because of the severity of the incident. The parents of the students attending Rockville High School are absolutely livid with the school administration. They made the fateful decision to allow Henry Sanchez-Millian, 18, and Jose Montano, 17, to attend the school as freshmen. Committee Chair Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) Slammed The Obama Administration For Their “Lax Immigration Policies.” What makes this even more infuriating is the fact that both of these illegals were caught in 2016, according to the Washington Post. They reported, “Montano, who is from El Salvador, was apprehended in April 2016, five months after his 16th birthday. Sanchez Millian, from Guatemala, was caught in August of that year, days before he turned 18.” Both of these people were caught, and then released by the Obama administration. Chairman Goodlatte is correct in saying that if the Obama administration had actually deported these people, then that poor girl wouldn’t have gone through what she did. The Obama administration also doesn’t have an excuse for this. The Post continued, “Border Patrol officials stopped both teens near McAllen, Tex., and detained them for less than the legal limit of 72 hours, then handed them over to HHS’s Office for Refugee Resettlement, according to a federal official with direct knowledge of the case.” They knew that these people were illegal. If the Obama administration had just deported them like they should have, then this case wouldn’t have escalated to the point where Chairman Goodlatte sent a letter to the Secretary of Homeland Security. If President Obama Had Just Enforced Immigration Laws, This Mess Wouldn’t Have Happened As the chairman said, these types of crimes will continue unless the proper actions are taken. The Trump administration has done a great job at addressing the needs, but more has to be done. There are some cities and states that don’t believe illegals should be deported. In fact, one of these states is Maryland! The legislators of the state decided to take the side of the illegals that did the terrible act. They decided to not allow law enforcement in the state to help with the federal immigration officials enforcing immigration laws. Essentially, they completely IGNORED this disgusting case because they wanted to oppose Trump. Unfortunately there are more people that are in favor of helping illegals over American citizens. This includes the extremely liberal Governor of California, Jerry Brown. Last month, he signed a budget that is going to cut the education fund for Middle Class Americans, but would increase spending on illegals. Share this article to show that the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee slammed the Obama administration for their decisions regarding immigration. He said that the previous administration was to blame for the horrible incident in Maryland. Hopefully, more and more states will realize what President Trump is trying to do. He’s trying to keep Americans safe from danger. If they don’t realize that soon enough, more cases, like the one in Maryland, are going to happen. ___________________________ ICE Sends Man Back To His Own Country After His Attempt To Perform “Common Ritual” Of Ethiopia
Posted by April Horning | Mar 17, 2017 | National Security After serving ten years in federal prison for the brutal attack of his daughter, ICE agents assisted in deporting Khalid Adem. Mainstream media has plastered much of the internet with sad stories about illegals being deported. They have painted the hard-working Americans serving as ICE agents as the enemy. ICE is simply performing their duties to protect the public. Deportations may not be easy, but they are often a necessary part of national security. ICE agents are protecting citizens each time they work to deport someone who has broken the law. For the most part, MSM will not bother to tell their readers the full truth about deportations. The case of Khalid Adem is an example of how ICE is making the U.S safer. As with many of the stories we have seen, Khalid Adem was deported even though he has family here. He is a father of a young child, and that fact will be used against ICE when the media tells the story. It would be easy to paint Adem as only a father being ripped away from his family. One can take the details of his deportation out of context and even argue that he is being deported as a part of religious discrimination. Both of these fall under the category of “fake news.” This poor father has just served ten years in prison for the brutal mutilation of his daughter. The little girl was two at the time. Adem was removed from the United States to protect our citizens. He served ten years for sexually mutilating his two-year-old daughter. He committed this atrocity with a simple pair of scissors. In the United States, Adem’s act was deemed to be an aggravated assault and extreme cruelty to a child. Within our legal system, this act was a federal crime. In Adem’s native country the act would be a part of his religious freedoms. This was a case of female genital mutilation (FGM), a common occurrence in Ethiopia. FGM, according to the World Health Organization, involves the forceful removal or altering of female genital organs for non-medical reasons. There is are no physical benefit to this procedure and it is often done by someone without any medical background. While it does not serve any medical purpose, FGM can have life-long consequences for the girls that are forced to endure it. This usually occurs between birth and the age of 15. On-going pain during urination, cysts, problems related to childbirth, infections and even a higher risk of newborn deaths are just some of the adverse side effects of this procedure. FGM has been illegal in the United States since 1998. It is estimated that it still occurs within our borders with approximately 500,000 victims. Beyond the boundaries of the U.S., the practice is recognized globally as a human rights violation. There are over 200,000 million mutilated children worldwide. Why is there no outrage for this father being deported? This story was too hard to put a positive spin on. The crime committed in this case was something even MSM could not manipulate. Mainstream media is quick to focus on pictures of grieving families torn apart by ICE agents. We see photos of crying families without knowing the full details of the associated crimes. Even if one can make the argument that Adem’s act was a part of his religious or cultural beliefs, it was a crime. Adem may have come to the U.S. searching for his version of the American Dream; instead, he broke the law. The conviction of Adem was based on the changing views of female circumcision in many foreign countries. While this may be a part of their religious or cultural norm, it is not a practice that is widely accepted. The World Health Organizationhas taken an aggressive stance against the dangerous practice that scars and even kill young girls. FGM is now becoming something that is happening in hiding. It is now seen as a punishable offense and a violation of basic human rights. WHO does not sanction female circumcision. Even if viewed as a part of a larger religious freedom, this act was punishable by the law in the United States. The irreversible damage to the young victim matters more than upholding a dangerous tradition. According to ICE: “Female genital mutilation/cutting is a federal crime. Any involvement in committing this crime is a severe human rights violation which may result in imprisonment and potential removal from the U.S. Individuals suspected of female genital mutilation/cutting, including sending girls overseas to be cut, may be investigated by ICE’s Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center.” The deportation of Khalid Adem is an example of the dedication ICE has to protect Americans as a collective. This also demonstrates how easy it is for media outlets to selectively leave out key details, painting someone like Adem as a victim of the system. The only victim, in this case, is the then two-year old who has to live with both physical and emotional scars tied to this violation. In his native country of Ethiopia, Adem’s actions probably would have gone unnoticed. Regardless of that, it was not appropriate in the U.S. where Adem’s family was living. This case is an extreme case of the deportations occurring now under the guidance of President Trump. In many, there are underlying crimes that are ignored by MSM to support their agenda. They often overlook the sins of those being deported to focus on the emotional stories. The crime here was especially alarming as it was an act of violence towards a child at the hands of her father. Deportations are a common outcome for those who break the law and are apprehended by ICE agents. Whether is is a graphic crime like Adem’s case, gang activity, drug trafficking, or a host of other violations; the consequence of the offense is being forced to leave. This is not the fault of the ICE agents that risk their lives each day to uphold the safety of our borders. NYC Mayor De Blasio Hiding 500,000 Illegals Within The City, Orders NYPD To Stand Down
Posted by Allison Hillman | Mar 7, 2017 de Blasio tells the world that NYPD will not comply with ICE orders It is quite a case of irony, the current president and his administration under fire for supposed ties to Russia. Meanwhile, the mayor of New York City, is doing an interview with Russian Television International (RTVi), broadcasting his extreme hate and dismissal of President Trump. Ironic or not, Mayor Bill de Blasio did just that this week, taking time to talk with the reporter from RTVi to explain how he would go on defying federal law. “Our police force is not going to be out there knocking on people’s doors. Our police force is not going to share information about people’s documentation status with the federal authorities.” Mayor de Blasio has been clear from the beginning; he will not comply with federal law. He maintains that illegal immigrants will be safe in his city, which we now know from multiple examples, puts the legal citizens of NYC in real danger. Liberals don’t seem to be bothered. “In terms of the City of New York, we said the only area where we cooperate is we have a law that delineates 170 serious and violent crimes. If someone is convicted – not just accused, convicted of those crimes – then we will work with ICE in terms of their deportation.” Taking a stance that has become the left’s Party line, de Blasio will only follow the law when it suits him. It is truly unclear with the Democrats, are they doing this because they believe it is right and that illegals need protection? Or is this just a cover for them to continue impeding the president every chance they get? The answer is unimportant because our country does not work that way. If there is a dispute, legal channels must be followed to come to a consensus. Liberals have decided that laws don’t apply to them, they see no reason to follow procedure even though they protest if someone else doesn’t. The mayor’s ridiculous notion that he can pick and chooses when to follow the law leaves citizens paying the ultimate price, not him. An unknown number of assaults, rapes, and murders have taken place in cities with the same policies. When the law is not followed, there are consequences. In his liberal palace of denial, de Blasio does not deem it necessary to acknowledge that. “We do not believe the President’s executive order related to immigration is legally clear or consistent. We think it can be challenged effectively in court.” The problem being that they have not tried to bring their arguments before the courts. Democrats have simply stood in defiance, tell President Trump that he is wrong and they will not obey the law. Imagine what Obama would have done if someone had said that to him. Under de Blasio, New York City has taken their rebellion a step further than most cities. They have given illegal immigrants ID cards. The cards are not driver licenses but do allow the holder access to public services, entrance to public buildings, and other benefits. The mayor even stated that the information about who was given cards would be destroyed so the federal government could not use it to track illegals down. New York City has been assisting illegals for a long time The host of RTVi has obviously bought into the liberal rhetoric, giving de Blasio a free pass to spout more of the nonsense. “Host: Another thing – another problem that the people face here in the United States after the new President has come to the office is anti-Semitism, which is a huge, huge problem here. We know about this reports every day here. We’ve got the dozens of reports that the Jewish organizations were evacuated and cemeteries were vandalized and so on and so forth. Do you think it is connected to the rhetoric of the new President? Mayor: Absolutely, especially during the campaign. He has moderated some of his rhetoric in the last month or two, but if you look at the year and a half of the campaign, where the then-candidate Trump often engaged in very hateful, divisive language directed at many different communities, and unfortunately, I think that spurred the white supremacist movement to come out of the shadows and a lot of anti-Semitism and racism to come out of the shadows. We’ve seen so many instances around the country where people felt emboldened to act in a way that was racist or anti-Semitic or Islamophobic or anti-gay and somehow feel they could get away that.” Facts do not play a part here, similar to what we are seeing from all over the country. So far, all the acts of hate and racism have been traced back to liberals attempting to bring their fairytale to life. They need America to hate President Trump. It should have been clear when he won the election, they had failed. Unfortunately the loss just pushed them to new lows and more people have been harmed as a result. The mayor openly admits he has defied federal law for many years. Under Obama, that became acceptable. If the president wouldn’t enforce the laws, why should anyone worry about following them? “Mayor: We’ve been very clear that we do not ask people documentation status nor have we for decades…So the NYPD will not be asking people about their documentation status… Host: As you did before? Mayor: As we did before – before the election. Absolutely. The vast majority of people who are here – there’s about half a million undocumented people here – the vast majority don’t commit any crimes whatsoever. They go about their lives peacefully. There’s a small number who commit quality of life crimes. Littering or small offenses, non-violent, non-serious crime. Very, very few people who are undocumented immigrants commit really serious and violent crimes in this 170 category. That’s the one instance where we do cooperate.” These are not small offenses like littering, de Blasio cannot seem to tell the truth Again, the facts don’t support de Blasio’s story. While numbers regarding illegal immigrants are obviously hard to pin down, the numbers we do have are shocking; In a study of 55,322 aliens: 70% had between two and 10 arrests 26% (about 15,000) had 11 or more arrests 75% of those on the most wanted criminals list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens 25% of all inmates in California detention centers, 40% of all inmates in Arizona and 48% in New Mexico jails are Mexican nationals 53% of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens. Those are just a few examples and the numbers keep rising. President Trump is dedicated to fixing the problem despite liberals like de Blasio standing in the way. We can hope that once the president has a chance, he can turn his focus to the long list of government officials who are breaking laws. ___________________________ DEPORTED ILLEGAL ALIENS BEAR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CHILDREN, WE DON’T
SYLVIA THOMPSON on 11 February, 2017 at 06:40 The argument that the President of the United States cannot “break up families” by deporting illegal aliens is specious. It is the sworn duty of our President to execute the laws of this sovereign nation against illegal entry or invasion by any people from a foreign country. The onus of a family breakup rests with the illegal alien. The alien ignored the law to come to America and live criminally while here. Every illegal resident is technically a criminal, by law, because many criminal activities attach themselves to the evasion of deportation. The sooner Americans open their eyes to this fact, the better off our nation will be. Aliens decide whether to leave their children behind. If their children are minors, it is their parental responsibility to take those children with them to their native countries, so as not to be separated from them. When children born in America reach the age of maturity in their parents’ countries, they can attempt to return to America. I hope soon, however, Americans will end the lawless travesty of “anchor babies,” which allows illegal aliens to claim American citizenship for children born in this country illegally. The Founders never intended for such a phenomenon as anchor babies. American citizenship is too cherished a commodity for us to continue allowing its abuse in that fashion. Leftists, whose stated aim is to destroy America as it was founded, and bleeding hearts who profess conservatism or Christianity are playing their usual “guilt-trip” game. If they can con enough Americans into feeling sorry for the children of these lawless aliens, they can advance their anti-Christian, anti-American agenda. And that agenda proffers American citizens have no right to own this piece of earth, but rather America is a global space that belongs to the world. That narrative is at best blatantly ludicrous and at worse treasonous. America owes nothing to anybody except its citizens, natural born or naturalized. Anybody else on this soil is here by the American people’s good graces: green card holders, visa holders, visitors, and especially refugees. I, personally, am getting sick and tired of tiptoeing around my country as though my ancestry doesn’t go back several hundred years and my family members, along with many other Americans, did not spill blood for this plot of land.I know the vast majority of Americans (natural born or naturalized) feel the same way I do; otherwise, Donald Trump would not have been elected President. Now that he is in the White House, we realize our situation as a nation has become even more dire and in graver need of attention. Trump’s governing philosophy, which is strictly America and Americans first, has unleashed a virulent hatred from the Left and its duped professed conservatives and Christians, among others. What this element of our society reveals is that we are in a battle for control of our home. And we’d better view that battle seriously or we will lose our home. The biggest enemy in our fight, besides the Left, is the media. Too many media types have divorced patriotism from their professions. Many are millennials who have been indoctrinated in education systems completely controlled by the Left, so they have no sense of what patriotism means. Many know practically nothing about the Constitution (other than that it exists) and even less about the Bible view of nations. Case in point, recently on the Fox Business News “After the Bell” broadcast, anchor David Asman interviewed his guest, longtime conservative activist David Horowitz. In discussing a recent deportation of a criminal illegal alien in Phoenix, AZ, Asman interrupted Horowitz to give a bleeding-heart diatribe about the necessity to feel sympathy for the woman’s children, who were born in America. Horowitz, true to his staunch opposition to such misplaced sentimentality, fired back that he was not sympathetic, because the fault lies with the children’s mother who broke our laws to get here. Horowitz further stressed that we are a nation of laws and people who break them must be held accountable. Period.* David Horowitz’s sentiments are shared by many, many Americans, but those sentiments are being denigrated by the media, out of ignorance and the Left, by design. The children of all law-breakers suffer as a result of the decisions their parents make—thieves, murderers, rapists, extortionists often have children. Few if any bleeding hearts concern themselves with those children, however, spotlighting their hypocrisy as regards the children of illegal aliens. American patriots are at a crossroad. Either we will seize this moment of reprieve Donald Trump has afforded our nation, or we will die as a nation. Either we will fight the scourges of subversion and lawlessness orchestrated by the Democrat Party and their satanic minions, or we will be subsumed by them. Either we will end the rampant illegal invasion of our country and send the Mexican-flag-waving hordes back to Mexico, or we will become the national basket case that Mexico, itself, has become. Either we will fight the leftist assault on our Constitution by criminals in black robes, who have become maniacal in their rulings against the well-being of our nation, or we will live as slaves under judicial tyranny. And finally, we will fight the godless perversions that currently drive our culture, or we will suffer the fate of societies before us and be destroyed by our degeneracy (the city of Sodom comes to mind). That is the bottom line. __________________________ |
Behind the Push for Open Borders
Trump administration enters into asylum agreement with El Salvador
SEPTEMBER 21, 2019 BY JEN KRAUSZ The Trump administration entered into an “asylum cooperation agreement” with El Salvador on Friday. The agreement will require asylum seekers who enter El Salvador to first request protective status there and will pave the way for American assistance in El Salvador’s efforts to grow the capacity of its own asylum system. Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary McAleenan described the agreement as an extension of the successful efforts the administration has already made with Guatemala with regard to asylum-seeking migrants. The idea behind the pact is to “try to further our efforts to provide opportunities to seek protection for political, racial, religious or social group persecution as close as possible to the origin of individuals that need it,” McAleenan said. While the earlier agreement with Guatemala was more in line with a “safe third country” scenario meant to compel immigrants to seek asylum there rather than passing through to Mexico en route to the U.S. border, McAleenan said that the El Salvador deal has more to do with helping get El Salvador ready to provide necessary protections and resources for asylum seekers. “The core of [the agreement] is recognizing El Salvador’s development of their own asylum system and a commitment to help them build that capacity,” McAleenan said. El Salvador’s role in crisisEl Salvadorean officials recognize that the epidemic of gang violence plaguing the country makes it a place many people are clamoring to leave rather than a place of refuge. This agreement is designed to help alleviate that situation and foster more hospitable circumstances for migrants. At present, more than four people a day on average are killed by gun violence in El Salvador, but that represents a decline from last year’s daily average of nine victims. It is hoped that continued improvement on this front may lead to fewer people attempting to leave the country and head toward the U.S. border. El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, who took office in June, acknowledged that his country bears some responsibility for the immigration nightmare plaguing the U.S., including tragedies such as that of the El Salvadoran father and daughter who drowned in the Rio Grande trying to cross the U.S. southern border illegally, a story which grabbed international headlines in June. “We can blame any other country but what about our blame?” he asked. “What country did they flee? Did they flee the United States? They fled El Salvador, they fled our country. It is our fault.” Details remain unclear“Irregular immigration has been an issue in El Salvador for the last 30-odd years, now we’ve reached levels where it is extremely, extremely important that both the United States and El Salvador deal with this issue conjointly,” El Salvadoran Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill told reporters. Hill views the agreement with the U.S. as a strategy to get better control over the factors driving immigration. If fewer people feel threatened by gang violence or oppressed by extreme poverty, they will be less inclined to flee to America or another country. While the agreement sounds encouraging at first glance, it is worth noting that few specifics have been released thus far about what McAleenan touted as bilateral initiatives to combat drug trafficking, organized crime, human smuggling and a lack of economic opportunity in El Salvador. Without many details about precisely the sort of assistance the U.S. will be offering, skeptics wonder whether this agreement will have a significant impact. Hopefully, America’s outreach to El Salvador will be in the vein of “teach a man to fish,” rather than the “eat for a day” variety. _________________________ We Build The Wall

Illegal immigrants shut down one terminal of France’s Charles de Gaulle Airport on Sunday in a massive protest. Video and photos shared on social media show what was estimated to be 400 to 500 migrants and their supporters facing off against about a dozen police officers in riot gear. “France does not belong to the French! Everyone has a right to be here!” one person could be heard yelling into a loudspeaker, the New York Post reported. The protest was organized by the migrant support group La Chapelle Debout, which said its members call themselves “Black Vests.” In a statement issued in conjunction with the protest, the group asked to meet with Prime Minister Edouard Philippe to talk about France’s policy on asylum. Protesters also demanded a meeting with the leaders of Air France and called upon the airline to “stop any financial, material, logistical or political participation in deportations.” Local news outlet Le Parisien reported an Air France delegation did meet with the group, according to the Daily Mail. The protest was received as a possible sign of things to come in America by many observers. https://www.westernjournal.com/france... ________________________________ Boy, just 16 years old, stabbed to death and set on fire by MS-13 in DC suburb
Stabbed over 100 times by at least five gang members, police say Paul J. Richards/AFP/Getty Images CALEB HOWEA 16-year-old boy was stabbed over 100 times, and his body set on fire. He was murdered in a neighborhood in Maryland, a suburb of D.C. His body was dumped in Fairfax, Virginia. Another D.C. satellite. The killers were members of violent drug gang MS-13. The boy's offense? He wanted to leave the gang, his mother says. Police announced on Friday that they have arrested five male MS-13 members in connection with the slaying. Kevin Rodriguez-Flores, Jonathan Castillo-Rivera, and Jose Hernandez-Garcia are in custody in Virginia. They are adults, and are under arrest for first-degree murder, among other charges. Christian Martinez-Ramirez is also under arrest on the same charges. He is 16 but charged as an adult. Jose Ordonez-Zometa, the fifth accomplice, is under arrest in Maryland, and police say he is the gang leader. The victim, Jacson Chicas, fled El Salvador with his family to escape MS-13's clutches. That's according to his mother, who spoke with an NBC affiliate station. Chicas' mother said that they came to the United States from El Salvador to escape the gang, but were not able to do so. As the White House has stressed, MS-13 is active all across the United States. According to police investigating this murder, the "clique" of MS-13 involved operates in Fairfax, Virginia. That's right outside Washington, D.C. The murder took place at the gang leader's home in a Maryland suburb of D.C. The brutality of the slaying is the gang's calling card. President Donald Trump was raked over the coals in 2018 by the press and Democrats for referring to members of this gang as "animals." He was accused of "dehumanizing" these killers. But this list of inhuman acts of grotesque brutality by MS-13 this writer's op-ed for USA Today show the madness of that backlash. That brutality includes reprisal not just for attempting to leave the gang, as the mother of the victim in this case alleges her son was attempting, but even for refusing to join the gang in the first place, which is the reason for one of several machete hacking and stabbing murders by MS-13 that have been in court in just the last week. Maj. Brian Reilly of the Prince George's County Police told the Washington Post that the slaying was the gang "sending a message." "He was stabbed around 100 times," Reilly said. "That goes to how violent this attack was and how it wasn't just one person who did this. The group turned on their own." ___________________________ Dad of Deceased 7-Year-Old Smashes Media Narrative, Backs Up Border Patrol
BY KARA PENDLETON DECEMBER 16, 2018 For some, “fake news” has struck, yet again. In the rush to push a narrative that the Border Patrol is bad and illegal aliens are victims, the establishment media, lawmakers, and leftist celebrities have been blaming the Border Patrol for the death of a seven-year-old. Now, the child’s father has spoken up and he has made it very clear. Her death was not the fault of the Border Patrol. And not only did he speak in favor of the Border Patrol, but he did so to Guatemalan Consul Tekandi Paniagua. Paniagua then relayed the father’s report about the Border Patrol to CNN. According to Paniagua, Nery Gilberto Caal said that his daughter, Jakelin Caal Maquin, was given tremendous help from Border Patrol agents. He said they “did everything they possibly could to help his daughter.” But that wasn’t all. Caal also had high praise for the first responders who assisted in trying to save the girl. A statement from his lawyers to the media said that he was “grateful for the many first responders that tried to save young Jakelin’s life in New Mexico and Texas.” According to CNN, while the medical examiner has not said why the girl died, we know that she experienced cardiac arrest, brain swelling, was breathing with assistance from machines, and had liver failure. After being detained, the father reported she’d been vomiting and later stopped breathing. When Border Patrol agents provided medical assistance, they discovered the girl had a fever of almost 106 degrees. They revived the girl twice. EMTs also took action to save the girl. By the father’s own admission, the girl’s death was not because of Border Patrol mistreatment. Its agents were nothing but helpful. Despite this, Caal’s lawyers are pushing for an investigation. However, in the CNN report, there is no mention of the investigation being over negligence on the part of Border Patrol. Their issue is that Caal was asked to sign a form, written in English, about the girl’s health. The form was presented with others when the pair were detained. When presented, the girl showed no signs of ill health. The lawyers are also disputing claims that the father did not provide the girl with adequate food and water during their journey from Guatemala. “Jakelin’s father took care of Jakelin — made sure she was fed and had sufficient water. She had not suffered from a lack of water or food prior to approaching the border.” However, The Daily Caller wrote that in a statement from the DHS, it was revealed that the father told Border Patrol agents the opposite. He claimed the girl had not had food or water for days. Jakelin’s body has been embalmed and sent home for her funeral. Her father will not be able to attend, although, reported CNN, his lawyers did not specify what his current immigration status is or where he is in the process. Facts don’t care about feelings or agendas. The narrative being pushed about a big, bad, murderous Border Patrol didn’t come from the Border Patrol. Clearly, that narrative didn’t come from the girl’s father, either. So where did it come from? What we know right now is that when detained, the child showed no signs of illness. Later, when she did, Border Patrol agents, by the father’s own report, did everything they could to help her. They even revived her twice. And further, the man’s lawyers, according to CNN’s own report, aren’t blaming the Border Patrol for her death, either. So blame pointed at Border Patrol is not based in fact or statements from those directly involved in the case. It is all about pushing a false narrative, and apparently at any cost. Even if it means exploiting the tragic death of a child. __________________________ Watch: Video of What Illegals Left Behind in Tijuana Shows Exactly Why We Don’t Want Them Here
BY CILLIAN ZEAL DECEMBER 3, 2018 AT 10:29AM So, as you may have heard, the people of Tijuana weren’t exactly happy with the fact that the migrant caravan set up camp there. In fact, the mayor actually seemed to agree that President Donald Trump had a point, something that must have been a shocking development to most of the media. Well, whatever. The stories quickly shifted from the Trump administration’s prejudice against these “mothers and children seeking asylum” (which apparently involved mostly males who had no concrete asylum claims or plans to formulate them, according to one MSNBC reporter) to the prejudice of Tijuana residents, who should have been accepting this imposition with open arms. Apparently, Tijuana officials don’t watch CNN or aren’t influenced by it, because on Saturday they shut down the main shelter used by the caravan, “a sports complex close to the U.S. border that once held about 6,000 Central Americans who hope to get into the U.S.,” according to The Washington Times. “Officials said all the migrants were being moved to a former concert venue much farther from the border. The city said in a statement the sports complex shelter was closed because of ‘bad sanitary conditions.’ “Experts had expressed concerns about unsanitary conditions that had developed at the partly flooded sports complex, where the migrants had been packed into a space adequate for half their numbers. Mud, lice infestations and respiratory infections were rampant.” The new complex will be run by the federal government, which will likely have a tighter reign over sanitary conditions. You may wonder just how bad things were in Tijuana if the government was shutting the sports complex shelter down. Surely that was an overreaction, right? There are so many reactions to this I’m kind of at a loss for where to start. First, we’re going to assume this is representative footage, or at least the worst part of what, overall, was a hovel. We can’t confirm that. Under that assumption and given media reports, however, we can reasonably assume this is pretty credibly a representative slice of what the sports complex looked like. Second, I can’t help but notice the relatively significant percentage of clothes among the detritus. There could, of course, be a feasible explanation as to why they were left behind (why they were strewn all over the place is another matter). That being said, we’ve seen more than one report that insinuates these are people who are arriving with little more than the clothes on their back. To see so many clothes strewn about — like so much useless garbage — certainly raises questions. There may be answers that we aren’t getting, particularly given the video was posted Saturday, but I found this odd. Finally, I think we ought to point out that our immigration policy should strive to admit the best and brightest from each country who are willing to go through the legal channels required.. If these caravan members have legitimate asylum claims, that’s a different story. Most asylum claims, however, are rejected and we haven’t seen any indication that this is somehow going to diverge from historical precedent. Bluntly put, those who are housed in a sports complex as a temporary measure and then turn it into a sanitary hazard probably aren’t the best and brightest, if we’re just going on merits. The American government has a responsibility to the people of America, not the people of the world. It’s totally defensible to turn away people engaging in a political stunt who also have left a temporary camp in an absolute shambles. One can have the utmost sympathy for those living in countries experiencing hardship while similarly maintaining that if those individuals don’t want to follow legal channels to emigrate here, there isn’t much we can do for them. And they aren’t helping their cause when they abuse the hospitalityof the city that’s hosting them. ___________________________ Watch: President Trump Readies Plan to End Birthright Citizenship Via Executive Action President Donald Trump is moving forward with a plan to end birthright citizenship via executive action, he said in an interview with Axios released on Tuesday.“On immigration, some legal scholars believe you can get rid of birthright citizenship without changing the Constitution,” Axios’ Jonathan Swan asked President Trump in the video interview.

Report: George Soros tied to funding for migrant caravan
October 25, 2018 by Jerry McCormick There has been a lot of speculation about the financing of the migrant caravan making its way to the United States. Now, there is evidence that George Soros may be tied to the group — and even U.S. taxpayer monies may have been used to offer aid to the caravan. The Soros TieA picture of the caravan that was recently captured created some serious concerns about the financing for the group: If you look at the bottom set of pictures in that tweet, one of the members of the caravan is carrying a yellow bag marked USAID. USAID describes itself as “the world’s premier international development agency and a catalytic actor driving development results.” The organization, of course, is funded with our tax dollars. The Soros connection comes in via support for left-wing groups overseas that are tied directly to the billionaire himself. USAID has reportedly sent more than $500 million to the countries where the members of the caravan originated. You can surely see where this is going. OrganizedA second factor that makes the rumors that this caravan is politically motivated seem true is how organized much of the demonstrations by migrants have been. The pictures taken showing the journey of the caravan have been speculated to have been taken with very high-end equipment. Furthermore, many of the scenes and protests occurring during the caravan’s journey appear to be very well-rehearsed and staged for the cameras. This, of course, has led to more than a little speculation the caravan’s motives are, in fact, politically charged. If this true, it is time for Soros to be held accountable for his actions against the United States. Confirm VoteCancelYes, I want to get the latest news updates from Conservative Institute, LLC. Montgomery County Police ByRYAN SAAVEDRA @REALSAAVEDRA August 24, 2018 An illegal alien described as being "highly inebriated" endangered dozens of lives at a Maryland hospital when he set the emergency room on fire, according to a new report. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office told ABC7 that a fire from back in May was started by illegal alien Henry Padilla-Martinez, who is 20. A hospital employee noticed Padilla-Martinez wandering around in the hall and when they tried to direct him back to his room discovered that he set the bed on fire. Significant damage occurred from the fire, including "burnt linens, melted plastic framing and discolored flooring." Law enforcement officials in Montgomery County, a sanctuary city, charged Padilla-Martinez with "first-degree malicious burning and reckless endangerment." Officials said that the fire could have easily hurt numerous people in the immediate vicinity as many patients were confined to their beds and would not have been able to escape a fire. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which said that Padilla-Martinez is a Honduran national illegally living in the United States, lodged a detainer request against Padilla-Martinez — which is likely not to be honored since the county is a sanctuary for those who break U.S. immigration laws. If convicted, Padilla-Martinez faces up to 10 years in prison and deportation. _________________________ Open Border Policies Are Destroying Western Civilization Jun 22, 2018 Read More Articles by Kelleigh NelsonBoth Democrats and Republicans have done nothing to stanch the influx of illegal aliens on our southern border. Democrats are the problem. They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13. They can’t win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters! We must always arrest people coming into our Country illegally. Of the 12,000 children, 10,000 are being sent by their parents on a very dangerous trip, and only 2000 are with their parents, many of whom have tried to enter our Country illegally on numerous occasions. —President Trump “Build the Wall” was not just another campaign slogan. Trump meant it and we rallied to it. He knew that sovereignty exists only when a nation has borders. Politicians on both the left and right, as well as their comrades in media and the performing arts are unwavering in their promotion of a globalist open border society. It was neo-con Trotskyite Paul Ryan who purposely kept monies for the wall out of the Omnibus bill. The House even kept Trump from using military funds from the Omnibus bill for the wall in the defense of our nation from the southern invasion. Dump Ryan and Build the Wall! Lying with Impunity The socialist left portrays President Trump and conservatives as caring little about the illegal immigrant children, and this is another fomented lie purposely used to destroy Trump, his presidency, those in his administration and those who voted for him. The 1964 Supreme Court decision, NYTs Co. v Sullivan was decided by the liberal Warren court with a 9-0 decision. The court changed the rules involving libel that had previously been the province of state law and state courts and stated that media could lie about public figures with impunity as it was a first amendment right. A public official could recover in a libel action only if and when a court found that the libelous statement about the official was made with “actual malice”—that is, with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not. This SCOTUS decision changed the dynamics of debate in our society into the deceptive and dishonest attacks on public figures we see daily by society’s socialists. The Destruction of American Culture No one is speaking about the changes in our culture as a result of the invasion of millions of illegal aliens. Since 2016, some 110,000 children have entered the U.S. illegally and been released, along with 200,000 Central American families caught sneaking across the border. Since the dramatic surge of border crossings in 2013, the federal government has placed more than 180,000 unaccompanied minors with parents or other adult sponsors who are expected to care for the children and help them attend school while they seek legal status in immigration court. Both the open border policy and Obama’s purposeful fomenting of racial unrest and civil strife have parallels to what has happened in South Africa. In 1994, Nelson Mandela and his Marxist African National Congress (ANC) assumed the reins of power. The international community looked away, satisfied that justice had prevailed. They continue to look away, even as South Africa has degenerated into another racist pit, best described by an Afrikaner farm owner: “It’s politically correct to kill whites these days.” They’re killing off all the land owning white farmers who supplied their food. I believe this is the goal of the establishment elites, a goal that will destroy America, her Constitution and the European immigrants who made this nation great. The number of South African farm murders is staggering. Over the last decade, it is estimated that at least 3,000 Boers (white farmers) have been killed. Estimating the number of murders is necessary because the ANC has banned crime statistics from being compiled, claiming they scare off foreign investment. Moreover, the world knows little about the savagery that accompanies those killings. Many victims, including women and infant children, are raped or tortured before they are killed. Some have boiling water poured down their throats, some are burned with hot pokers, and some are hacked to death with machetes, or disemboweled. Several others have been tied to their own cars and dragged for miles. Civil unrest, racial strife and the influx of millions who know nothing of our culture and who come from third world countries is strongly advocated by the socialist left in both parties who have no problem disparaging anything constitutionally conservative. Last Monday President Trump tweeted, “The people of Germany are turning against their leadership as migration is rocking the already tenuous Berlin coalition. Crime in Germany is way up. Big mistake made all over Europe in allowing millions of people in who have so strongly and violently changed their culture!” The Law The 2008 William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, (TVPRA), which passed both chambers of Congress by unanimous consent and was signed into law by President George W. Bush, dictates exactly how children caught crossing the border without their parents must be treated. For children coming from “contiguous countries” – in other words, Mexico and Canada a Border Patrol officer has the authority to determine whether the child is eligible to stay in the country. Because the child can be directly and safely handed over to officials from his or her home country, the process can move very quickly. But for children from all other countries, any repatriation to their home country involves a plane flight and more preparation. The law dictates that after being caught, the child must be turned over within 72 hours to the Department of Health and Human Services to care for them and find them safe housing. HHS is also urged to find them legal counsel and child advocates who can explain the process of applying for asylum or identifying other ways to stay in the country. The following pictures are of Obama’s illegal immigrant detention centers. The policy of prosecuting immigrants for crossing the border illegally has been in place for multiple administrations. The Obama administration prosecuted half a million illegal immigrants and similarly separated families in the process. Newsweek reportedthat Obama held more than twice the number of children in shelters compared to the Trump White House. So did the Bush administration. Yet you’d never know that hearing the statements of Laura Bush saying how reprehensible Trump is for doing this. Pompous, arrogant liars who hate President Trump. Trump tweeted, “Did you like Angela Merkel’s open border policy and the refugee invasion? Germany has been destroyed with the flood of Islamist refugees, crime is over the top, and women are afraid to be on the streets for fear of rape. Crime in Germany is up 10% plus (officials do not want to report these crimes) since migrants were accepted. Others countries are even worse. Be smart America!” The Democrats and media are doing what they always do, driving emotions rather than rational thought. DHS Head Kirstjen Nielsen Nielsen provided an update on the illegal immigration crisis on the southern border including the effects the efforts the administration is taking to solve the crisis and to stop the flood of illegal immigrants, drugs, contraband and crime. She said the statistics are riveting. Listen to her ten-minute speech clarifying exactly what is going on at our southern border. No family coming to a port of entry and seeking asylum is turned away. Secretary Nielsen clarified that in the last 3 months they’ve seen illegal immigration on our southern border exceed 50,000 people each month, multiples over each month last year. Since this time last year there has been a 325% increase in unaccompanied alien children and a 435% increase in family units entering the country illegally. Over the last 10 years there has been a 1,700% increase in asylum claims resulting in an asylum backlog in our country today of 600,000 cases. Since 2013, the United States has admitted more than half a million illegal immigrant minors and family units from Central America most of whom today are at large in the United States. At the same time, large criminal organizations such as MS-13 have violated our borders and gained a deadly foothold within the United States. She ends with the following, “Let’s be clear, if an American were to commit a crime anywhere in the United States, they would go to jail and be separated from their family. This is not a controversial idea. Children in DHS and HHS custody are being well taken care of. The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Resettlement provides meals, medical care, and educational services to these children. They are provided temporary shelter and HHS works hard to find a parent, relative or foster home to care for these children.” Here is a video of the intake center in El Cajon, CA as reported by Breitbart. Nielsen went to a DC Mexican restaurant for dinner that night and socialist protestors disrupted her evening. This is the left folks, they are crass and rude and refinement is a thing of the past. One of those protestors was a paralegal from the Justice Dept. She should be fired. Illegal Parents and Children Today, President Trump caved to the left by signing an Executive Order keeping illegal alien parents and children together, or did he? He may have pulled a fast one. Our government takes children into protective custody all the time. If you go to jail for breaking the law, Child Protective Services is there to take the children. Those entering our country illegally have broken the law, and as such, the children should be separated from them. Illegal aliens who break the law can keep their children with them, but Americans who break the law lose them. Soon you will have women prisoners claiming their children should be with them as well. White House Report The White House reports that legal loopholes have hamstrung immigration enforcement and contributed to the crisis at our border as UAC arrivals have surged.
The High Cost of Illegals Health and Human Services paid more than $1.4 billion last year to accommodate nearly 41,000 UAC in its shelters. They stayed an average of 41 days, which means taxpayers paid about $670 a day for each child. The cost of holding someone in a federal prison, a comparison some immigration activists make to the UAC situation, is just $85 a day. Check out the benefits these children get, with the tab picked up by American taxpayers. Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers a mind-boggling $134.9 billion annually, according to a detailed analysis of federal, state and local programs that include education, medical, law enforcement and welfare. State and local taxpayers get stuck with an overwhelming chunk--$116 billion—of the burden. According to Judicial Watch, 2,400 UAC in Texas and Oklahoma cost us $75,833 each, or a staggering amount of $182,129,786 for only four months. Separations Sixty, yes 60 million babies have been separated from their parents by abortion. Think that isn’t a holocaust of its own? It certainly is. And think about this, Bill Clinton actually sent a SWAT team to capture and return one child to Communist Cuba. Elian Gonzales survived a rickety raft trip from Cuba to Florida. His mother did not. His mother drowned trying to save him and escape Communist Cuba and his father. Hillary didn’t think much about the Benghazi fathers who were separated from their children, did she? Neither did Bill, Hillary or Janet Reno worry about the children separated from their parents at Waco, or Ruby Ridge. Americans Murdered by Illegals No one even mentions the American children killed by illegal aliens who have broken the law to enter our country. Over 63,000 Americans have been killed by illegal aliens since 9/11. Nine to twelve Americans are killed per day by these invaders. Steve Bannon said, “I don’t see the mainstream media and the liberal left embracing the Angel Moms, those people who were permanently separated from their children because of illegal aliens who came over here and committed crimes and killed people. You’re being very selective.” The swamp’s addiction to cheap illegal labor and fraudulent votes is paid for with American blood. Conclusion Open border politicians don’t give a damn about these children. What they care about is flooding the country with aliens who will vote for democrat and a globalist society. Swamp snake Paul Ryan is leading the charge for open borders and amnesty. All of the Socialist Democrats and many of the neo-con Trotskyite Republicans are with him. JUNE 15, 2018 The shooting of a U.S. Border Patrol agent this week occurred in the same southern Arizona region where Judicial Watch recently met with residents and ranchers terrorized by drug and human smugglers gushing in from Mexico. The federal agent was shot multiple times at around 4:30 a.m. while investigating sensor activity on foot in a remote part of Arivaca, according to a Border Patrol announcement. The agent, a 21-year veteran, was attacked by an “unknown number of assailants, one of whom fired several shots at the agent in close proximity,” the agency states, adding that the officer was struck several times. The ambush occurred on a remote portion of a cattle ranch situated near the Mexican border that is often used as a passageway by immigrant and drug smugglers. The owner of the 50,000-acre property, Jim Chilton, told a local newspaper that he has seen increased traffic in the area during the last couple of months and that the nearby mountains have cartel scouts guiding drug packers and smugglers making their way into the U.S. Chilton told a national newswire that the Border Patrol sent him an electronic mail saying the veteran federal agent was alone on his ranch when he was shot in the leg and hand. Several bullets also struck the agent’s protective vest, Chilton said. A fifth-generation Arizona cattle rancher, Chilton has testified before Congress on the national security vulnerabilities of a poorly guarded southern border. Portions near his property are simply marked with strands of barb wire that are easily penetrated by smugglers. “National Security demands that drug traffickers, terrorists and undocumented aliens be prevented from entering the United States at the border,” Chilton said during testimony before a House hearing several years ago. “Currently, on our ranch these people often travel 10 to 20 miles inside our country before the Border Patrol attempts to apprehend them…Our losses have been great and our sense of security in our own country has been severely damaged. We live with weapons near our bed, at the doors, in our vehicles and attached to our saddles.” Chilton’s property is only a few dozen miles away from Sierra Vista, a Cochise County border town with equally frustrated ranchers. As part of an ongoing investigation into the critical security issues created by the famously porous southern border, Judicial Watch recently spent time in Sierra Vista, which is located 75 miles southeast of Tucson with a population of around 44,000. One of the ranchers (John Ladd) Judicial Watch visited said more than half a million illegal immigrants of several dozen nationalities have been apprehended on his sprawling cattle ranch. Ladd has also found 14 dead bodies on his 16,500-acre farm, which has been in his family for well over a century and sits between the Mexican border and historic State Route 92. The property shares a 10 ½-mile border with Mexico, making it a popular route for human and drug smugglers evading a meager force of Border Patrol agents in the mountainous region. “I can’t guarantee there’s not a dead body somewhere in my ranch right now,” Ladd told Judicial Watch. Other ranchers and longtime residents said that illegal immigrants and drug smugglers are devastating the area and many of them live in fear. Some are too scared to enjoy a simple pastime—horseback riding on their own land. Some portions of the border adjacent to Ladd’s property have an 18-foot iron fence, but others have a laughable wire fence that has been repeatedly penetrated by vehicles speeding through from Mexico. The fence is such a joke that the Border Patrol installed concrete barriers along a busy two-mile stretch in front of the barb wire barrier on Ladd’s property line to stop smugglers. Judicial Watch also visited another nearby smuggling route that’s inexplicably unprotected. The dirt road runs through the Coronado National Forest and five strands of barb wire serve as the physical boundary between the U.S. and Mexico in a remote portion of the park, which is closed to the public at night and is heavily transited by drug and human smugglers. Illegal immigration has had such a devastating impact on the area that one longtime resident wrote a book offering detailed anecdotes of what he and his family endure because they live near the Mexican border. This includes drugs and illegal immigrants piling into vehicles on the road adjacent to his four-acre property and ultralight aircraft flying near his rooftop, just above the trees, en route to make a drug drop. __________________________ POLL: NEARLY 2 OUT OF 3 VOTERS SUPPORT REDUCING LEGAL IMMIGRATION TO U.S.
April 29, 2018 by John Binder Nearly two out of three American voters say they support President Trump’s plan to reduce overall legal immigration levels in the United States, whereby currently more than 1.5 million legal immigrants arrive annually. In a new poll by Harvard-Harris polling, about 66 percent of voters — or nearly two out of three — said they support a plan by the Trump administration to almost cut legal immigration in half by ending the process known as “chain migration,” as well as the Diversity Visa Lottery, and building a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The deal would couple the wage-boosting relief for American citizens with allowing only illegal aliens enrolled in the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to stay in the U.S. There are nearly 800,000 DACA illegal aliens. Since 2005, chain migration has allowed 9.3 million foreign nationals to resettle in the U.S. for no other reason than they had extended family members already living in the country. This huge inflow outpaces two years of American births, which amount to roughly four million babies every year. Even after discounting normal immigration, the number of chain migration arrivals at the nation’s airports during five years exceeds the number of babies born during each year. In percentage terms, foreigners deliver one in five, or 20 percent, of all new arrivals at the nation’s airports and maternity wards every year. Likewise, the Visa Lottery program has imported about 30,000 foreign nationals to the U.S. from Iran, Syria, and Sudan, all countries which fund terrorism, as recognized by the State Department. Under the Visa Lottery program, championed by former Sen. Ted Kennedy and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the U.S. randomly gives out 50,000 visas every year to foreign nationals from a multitude of countries, including those with known terrorism problems –...(Read More...) _______________________ Feds Raid 20 Immigrant ‘Birth Hotels’ in Los Angeles – This’ll Blow Your Mind
Did you know that this was a thing? This is quite the shocker… Who knew that there was a booming ‘maternity tourism’ business in the United States? It looks as though there are a number of women coming from China to give birth in the U.S. just to have their children born as American citizens. These children are what called ‘anchor babies’. Clash has recently covered the growing problem of Anchor Babies: OMG: ‘Anchor Baby’ Population Eclipses American Birth Rate In an unprecedented federal sting operation, the feds raided 20 ‘birth hotels’ in 3 California counties. The targets of the sting weren’t the women coming into the United States, but the masterminds of the scheme that make hundreds of thousands of dollars from this scam aimed at Chinese foreigners seeking the benefits of American citizenship for their progeny. Some of the women pay as much as $100,000 to get into one of the luxury ‘birth hotels’. Southern California apartment complexes that doubled as “maternity hotels” for Chinese women who want made-in-America babies were raided early Tuesday, capping an unprecedented federal sting operation, officials said. NBC News was on the scene as Homeland Security agents swept into The Carlyle, a luxury property in Irvine, California, which housed pregnant women and new moms who allegedly forked over $40,000 to $80,000 to give birth in the United States. Claude Arnold, special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations for Los Angeles said, ‘It’s not necessarily illegal to come here to have the baby, but if you lie about your reasons for coming here, that’s visa fraud.’ There are several hundred ‘birth hotels’ to choose from on Chinese listing sites. None of the women were arrested; they are being treated as material witnesses, and paramedics were on hand in case any of them went into labor during the sweep. Instead, the investigation was aimed at ringleaders who pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars tax-free to help Chinese nationals obtain visas and then pamper them until they delivered in an American hospital at a discount, court papers show. The women were counseled on how to hide their pregnancy during travel, what lies to tell to obtain a tourist visa, and to avoid suspicious immigration officials at the Los Angeles airport, instead, they should fly in through Hawaii, Las Vegas, or Korea. All told, the feds raided 20 locations in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties, targeting three competing birth tourism schemes, officials said. The suspected operators have not been charged but are being questioned. The organizers who allegedly ran the Carlyle site, Chao Chen and Dong Li, used a website to drum up business, touting the benefits of a child with U.S. citizenship: 13 years of free education, low-cost college financial aid, less pollution, and a path for the entire family to emigrate when the child becomes an adult. The women would be pampered by the handlers until their delivery date, and would get reduced rates at local hospitals. The women’s handlers provided transportation for doctor visits and trips to restaurants and shops, the court papers say. An agent tailing one of the suspects followed them to Target and Babies R Us. They were funneled to several Orange County hospitals to deliver, but they didn’t pay full price — approximately $25,000 — for medical services, officials said. Instead, they got reduced rates for the indigent, ranging from nothing to $4,000,the court papers say. That translated into big losses for the hospitals. More than 400 babies linked to the scheme were born at just one facility in a two-year period, investigators said. The investigators discovered that the parents of one baby born in April 2014 who paid the hospital just $4,000 were spending money at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel, Rolex and Louis Vuitton, using an account with almost a quarter of a million dollars in it. Seems like quite the scheme, eh? Well, these folks weren’t done with just that. The scam operators at the Carlyle added even more immigration fraud to the pile. Li didn’t file a U.S. tax return and Chen didn’t declare hundreds of thousands of dollars in proceeds, the affidavit says. In addition, Chen and his wife, Jie Zhu committed marriage fraud, pretending to be divorced so they could get “green-card” marriages in the U.S., the feds charged. Efforts to reach Chen, Zhu and Li by phone were unsuccessful. It was not clear if they have retained legal counsel. But it wasn’t just what was going on at the Carlyle, there were other raids, too. In addition to the operation at the Carlyle, the feds zeroed in on two other alleged schemes. Wen Rui Deng, Li Yan Lang and Wen Shan Sun were accused of charging women $10,000 to $25,000 to put them up at the Pheasant Ridge apartments in Rowland Heights, where the “one dragon service” included baby nurses, the court papers say. A company called USA Happy Baby, run by Michael Wei Yueh Liu and Jing Dong, set up at The Reserves apartments in Rancho Cucamonga, authorities charged. Source: NBC News The women were keen to have their ‘anchor babies’ born here because they knew that that would allow a ‘pathway to citizenship’ for them due to ‘chain migration’, not to mention the educational benefits that their kids would have. Our immigration system is broken and in desperate need of fixing. There are so many that are abusing the non-merit-based system that was put into place in 1965. We need it fixed once and for all. I know just the man with the balls to do it — our badass President Trump. Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass. Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa. The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’. Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles. You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will. Ladies, tell everyone that you don’t like the emasculated, metro-sexual ‘feminists’ — you’d rather have a President with balls: And gents, let everyone know that you want your President to be just as much of a man as you are: Donald J. Trump is our 45th President. Why? Because Americans from all races and classes are sick of whining Republicans and corrupt Democrats. Finally, we have a President who isn’t afraid to say what he thinks even if it is not popular with the press. Trump is not a typical politician. Trump can’t be bought. He will back up what he says with action, no matter the cost. Finally. A president with balls! __________________________ Trump Ends Obama-Era “Extension” Program As 60,000 Illegals Vow “This Isn’t Over”
Posted by April Horning | Nov 21, 2017 | American Strength In the days, weeks and even months after a natural disaster, countries like the United States are often called upon to assist. This was the case in 2010 when Haiti was hit by a massive earthquake. To support relief efforts, the Obama White House allowed 60,000 Haitians to come to America under temporary special protections. Under a special permit program, those escaping from the earthquake damaged area were able to live and work in the United States. The original program was set to last 18 months and has been renewed over and over. It is now almost eight years after the earthquake and the situation in Haiti does not seem to be dire enough to keep renewing the program. President Trump has made efforts to end the program after one final extension. The program was never meant to be a lifetime of residency in the country, but instead a short-term solution to extreme and harsh conditions in Haiti. The Department of Homeland Security recently updated the status of the island and shared that number of people displaced by the earthquake has decreased by 97%. Conditions have improved enough to warrant the end of the special permit program. As recently as a few months ago, the program again came upon the deadline to end it. At the time the administration made a choice to only extended it for a few months to take time to research the current conditions. It was recently determined that the program is no longer needed and they made the final extension to allow people to prepare to go back to Haiti. While an 18 month grace period seems fair to those who are using the “Temporary Protected Status” program, many are fighting the end of the program. One of the people speaking out to many press outlets is a 49-year-old Haitian nurse named Rony Ponthieux. Pontheiux is speaking out against being forced to go back to Haiti with her family. She has been in the United States since 1999 but is currently using the 2010 special protection to stay legally. It is not clear how this would have applied in her case since she was already living in the country when the earthquake hit. It is clear that this family uses the protected status to their advantage. It is what keeps the family in the country and as she stated: “This isn’t over, this is time we get to fight for renewal, not to pack our bags. We need to push Washington to provide a legal status for us with TPS. This is anti-immigrant policy. “ Ponthieux has a family in the country and does not want to have to leave them behind. Her case raises an interesting question about the number of illegals from Haiti that were here before the earthquake but used the natural disaster as a way to gain a protected status. Someone who had lived illegally in the United States for ten years before the quake does not seem to fit into the group one might expect to be covered by the program. While the Ponthieux family makes for a great sound bite for the news, they may not be the best example as to why the program needs to stay around. The family was already living in Miami and just used the earthquake as a way to do so legally. They were not using the program as intended, and serve as an example of the way programs like this may be abused. With abuses like this within the program, it is also useful to make a note of the changes made within the country via emergency aid after the earthquake. The United Nations shortly after the quake started a monumental mission with 10,000 troops deployed. They have now scaled back their operation due to improvements in the area. They currently are only supporting the country with 1,300 police and 350 civilians to help with governmental reform. The economy of the island does need assistance, but this was not tied to the earthquake. This is not the first program that the current administration has cleaned up from the Obama White House. There were also temporary protections put in place years ago for those from Sudan an Nicaragua. Both of these programs were ended this year. Trump is also scheduled to address a similar issue with special protections for those here from Honduras. The Honduras program may impact up to 86,000 people. _________________________ Time to tone-down our welcome to immigrants
It’s not only illegal immigrants—aliens seeking to sponge off our rich welfare system, drug cartel members who want to invade us to establish more deadly drug distribution networks, and Islamic Jihadists who want to impose Sharia law or else kill “infidels”—it isn’t just these undesirables that we have to stop from coming here. Legal immigrants are becoming a major factor threatening our economy, our culture and the welfare benefits that should be reserved for poor American citizens. According to Breitbart News, Immigration reform, in terms of a drastic reduction in the number of legal immigrants we accept each year, is at last being recognized in Congress as critical to our survival. Two Republican senators took on leading roles in the quest for immigration reduction early last month by introducing the RAISE Act (Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment) that would help “raise wages and salaries for ordinary Americans, restore legacy immigration levels, and reset family and worker visa programs.” By focusing on “legacy immigration levels,” the new legislation is designed to bring immigration quotas to the levels seen in the 1960s and 70s when immigration volume didn’t push population growth beyond sustainable levels. “We are taking action to fix some of the shortcomings in our legal immigration system—returning to our historically normal levels of legal immigration that will help improve the quality of American jobs and wages,” said Georgia’s Sen. David A. Perdue Jr., a co-sponsor of the RAISE Act along with Arkansas Sen. Thomas B. Cotton. Perdue noted that “The bill is not a rejection of immigration, which is an important part of the country’s heritage. But, we see the records and we see the data and we see wages being absolutely depressed because of the [current over-] supply of low-skilled workers.” Cut permanent residency visas in half. Purdue and Cotton explained that their bill would drop the number of legal immigrants granted permanent residency visas from one million per year down to 500,000. This wouldn’t change anything regarding H-1B applicants and other highly educated immigrants with unique skills requested by employers who are in urgent need of experienced, high-tech personnel. But the bill might have a serious impact in shrinking the size of the H-2B visa program. This is a low-skilled, guest worker program used by employers to fill jobs in landscaping, food service, and hospitality. Although these jobs may be of short duration, low-skilled American workers depend on them to help make ends meet. NumbersUSA.org, the website that tracks immigration trends, advises that House and Senate appropriations officials are under pressure to expand H-2B visas, “which would potentially increase the number of these visas issued each year from 66,000 to 264,000.” This is not what American workers need when more options must be available to help them find even short-term employment. It’s said that passage of the RAISE bill may also bring an end to established “diversity visa programs” that annually allow tens of thousands of poorly educated, low-skilled foreigners into the country on the idea that Americans benefit through more contact with people from unfamiliar nations that are “under-represented” in the U.S. Senator Cotton said his bill makes immigration a simple matter of supply and demand. “There has been a generations-long decline in blue collar wages,” he noted. By placing tighter control over the entry of persons with low and no skills, this will put upward pressure on employers to raise wages and salaries simply because there will be fewer immigrants here who would be willing to work for depressed incomes. And with wages and salaries under pressure to increase, this will bring more Americans into the labor force because they will be able to earn a living sufficient to support themselves and their families. Conversion to “merit-based” immigration is critical. The RAISE Act will also assist President Trump’s objective of converting U.S. immigration policy from one of promoting family reunification, also known as “chain immigration,” to one that favors “merit-based” immigration. This is where foreigners, who are educated and experienced workers, are permitted entry here because they are very employable, will not become a financial burden to taxpayers, and can readily contribute to the future progress of the nation. During the great wave of immigration to America that occurred from 1850 to about 1920, more than 32 million, mainly Europeans, were welcomed here because they served the needs of the nation: to build our roads and railroads, to construct our cities and, because they possessed wide-ranging work experience, they were essential to the growth of our manufacturing industries. The promise behind this immigration policy was “immediate employment”…and no one was ever to become a “ward of the state.” With the exception of temporary visas for elderly parents who would be supported by their children, the RAISE Act would shut off chain-migration, so siblings, parents, and other members of a legal immigrant’s extended family would no longer be automatically waved into the country. Family reunification produces a ponderous chain of persons who come here, and when they obtain legal residency (a green card), they bring in more of their relatives. The chain grows longer and longer, and most of the “links” in this chain are persons without work skills, no proficiency in the English language and therefore are unemployable. Such a situation only adds to our welfare load that gets heavier each year. Late last month, USA Today offered a partial endorsement of President Trump's proposal to move the legal immigration system away from favoring extended family connections. The newspaper commented: “If what the president means [by merit-based immigration] is that a higher percentage of immigrants to the United States should be selected for their skill levels rather than family connections, he is right.” USA Today criticized the fact that “…the bulk [70 percent] of immigrant visas -- those with a direct path to permanent residency -- are awarded on the basis of a family relationship." The newspaper added: “People coming in on a family reunification visa generally have modest job skills. When numerous jobs in semi-skilled areas have disappeared, importing hundreds of thousands of low-skilled workers a year makes little sense.” Finally, NumbersUSA reminds us that “Ending chain migration was also a key recommendation of the last bipartisan commission for immigration reform…The Commission sought to reduce annual green card numbers to 550,000 primarily by ending chain migration and the visa lottery. The Cotton/Perdue RAISE Act would do exactly that.” And that’s exactly what America needs to ensure a sustainable future. We’re drowning in an ocean of new legal residents. Passing the RAISE Act is crucial to our survival. We are literally drowning in waves of new visa (green card) holders. Figures from NumbersUSA paint a frightening picture: Legal immigration alone—not even factoring in the flood of illegal aliens—will double our current population to over 600 million by the year 2100. Even if Donald trump can put the nation on a solid footing toward steady employment growth, year after year, decade after decade, we will never generate enough new jobs to put all these hundreds of millions of new U.S. residents to work. And worse still, how could we ever afford the staggering amount of welfare needed to sustain those who can’t find jobs? It’s time to bury the nonsense that says America must forever open its doors to take in the “poor… huddled-masses-yearning-to-breathe-free,” simply because “we are a nation of immigrants.” “That dog don’t hunt anymore.” Our immigration policy must be refocused on the “needs of the nation,” and that means returning to sustainable population growth. _________________________ Mexico Now Dealing With All-New Immigration Crisis After President Trump Gave The ICE-Cold Order
Posted by Asia Mayfield | Mar 28, 2017 Mexican authorities expect to process 5 times as many requests for asylum in 2017 than 2015. President Trump’s election revitalized flagging border agents and infused ICE with fresh powers. Obama’s administration fumbled with immigration policy. The former president deported hordes of violent criminals, but he also severely weakened our borders and manipulated the law so illegals could stay in the U.S. while their cases were being decided. Now that Trump has assumed office, undocumented migrants are being sent home at unprecedented rates. Crossing the border is becoming increasingly difficult. Illegals are pooling in Mexico, unable to go farther north and unwilling to go south. The government expects to process at least 5 times as many refugee applications in 2017 than 2015. “We don’t know if they are here to enjoy themselves or to make trouble…I met one Guatemalan who told me about the violence. It’s terrible. And her family couldn’t earn a living wage,” Carmen Dama, Tenosique resident told the Christian Science Monitor. “We are getting the good and the bad,” she added. For years Mexico watched as its citizens penetrated the U.S. and lived in the shadows. The government did almost nothing to stop illegal immigration. Activists chanted about the supposed harmlessness of undocumented migrants. President Trump’s stern immigration policies have forced many migrants to remain in Mexico. Recently the violence in Central America sparked a new refugee crisis. Migrants abandoned their homes and flooded into Mexico. Most hope to eventually settle in America, but Trump’s administration has made that dream impossible for many. So instead, they’re remaining in Mexico. Cities across the country are glutted with refugees and economic migrants. “Just like in other parts of the world, in Mexico there’s the question of who are these people. Are they criminals? Do they deserve asylum here?” asks José Luis Loera, director of Casa Refugiados, a Mexico City-based nongovernmental organization. “Xenophobia is more and more present in Mexican society.” Apparently undocumented migrants are a boon to society…Unless of course it’s your society that’s affected. Mexicans overwhelmingly supported migrants right to flout international laws until their own country became inundated with requests for asylum. Mexico’s economy can hardly be said to be thriving, but the country’s standard of living is significantly higher than a lot of its neighbors. Many of the migrants who fail to enter the U.S. settle for living in Mexico because it’s an improvement over the lives they left. Living conditions are however, too tough to provide ample living for everyone. Most of the migrants are unable to find employment and are reduced to begging. Many of the nation’s cities boast an average daily wage of only $5. There’s just not enough wealth for everyone to thrive. Ironically Mexico is now facing its own illegal immigration crisis. “Central American migrants are still coming, but they are more invisible now, even to shelters,” says Jose Knippen, a human rights researcher at Mexico City think tank. “The message the government is sending with detaining and deporting migrants quickly is that the migrants aren’t the priority of this policy…Nothing will happen to you if you steal from a migrant because they will be deported anyway.” Migrants are both instigators and victims of violence. Thousands of vicious gang members are fleeing from Central America and bringing their rage with them, while migrant’s shadowy legal status induces others to victimize them. It’s an awful cycle. According to the Monitor: “The extreme rise in violence in Central America, where El Salvador surpassed Honduras last year as the country with the highest homicide rate outside of war, plays a fundamental role in the steady uptick in refugee applications from the region. Central American requests for refugee status in Mexico went from 1,300 in 2013 to nearly 9,000 last year.” Huge swaths of the globe are currently afflicted by a paralyzing refugee crisis. Bad government, radical Muslims, and vicious Hispanic gangs are destroying their neighborhoods and sending residents fleeing. No country can support the world’s poor. Impoverished people don’t improve their lives by leeching off of others, not really. The very stability that they desire is threatened by their movements. Europe, America, Canada, country after country has been negatively impacted by illegal immigration. “There are few Mexican government programs for integration or education, observers say, which means civil society and large international organizations are picking up the slack. Their efforts are often small in scale, but they represent a first step toward building a refugee support network,” reporters note. Dangerous gang members and drug lords are sneaking into Mexico. Central American immigrants don’t need a vast Mexican support system; they need to feel safe in their own homes. The pathway for their happiness is through their own governments. Problems aren’t solved by ignoring them. The violence ripping Central America apart isn’t eased by illegal immigration. Mexico’s already strained resources can’t protect thousands of refugees in addition to its own citizens. If the current flow of refugees continues at the same rate, Mexican politicians will be forced to take a harsher stance on illegal immigration. __________________________ NONPROFITS HELPING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TOOK $291 MILLION FROM TAXPAYERS
March 10, 2017 by Ethan Barton Taxpayers funded eight nonprofits that serve, protect or advocate for illegal immigrants with more than $291 million between 2012 to 2016, according to an analysis of federal spending data and tax documents by the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group. The eight groups — including at least one that endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016 — provide a variety of support to illegal aliens, ranging from legal and social services to political advocacy. Ninety-four percent of the public funds — or, nearly $274 million — came from the federal government, according to data obtained from USAspending.gov and 990 tax forms. The $291 million total in public funding, however, is almost certainly an underestimate, since the respective 990s of each implicated nonprofit for all five years were not always available. Additionally, those groups only represent a small sample of publicly-funded pro-illegal immigrant nonprofits. “At least 684 nonprofits nationwide provide some form of legal aid to immigrants,” a 2013 Urban Institute study said. More than half of these had budgets bigger than $1 million, but a “more detailed breakdown is necessary to reveal how much support comes from … government agencies.” The Urban Institute study also claimed there were too few charities at the time to serve the growing “unauthorized population” and that additional taxpayer-funded support was necessary. The study estimated that California’s 111 nonprofits then providing legal aid to immigrants could serve as many as 22,973 illegal immigrants each. The Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) received the most in government grants of the eight charities TheDCNF analyzed, raking in nearly $255 million — or 87 percent — of the total funding, data shows. A large portion of that money was awarded to assist refugees. And government grants accounted for 92 percent of the LIRS budget between 2013 and 2015. LIRS wants to ensure “all migrants and refugees are protected, embraced and empowered,” and seeks to end detention centers, according to its website. Instead, the group advocates for “community-based alternatives to immigration detention” to house “individuals as they await a final decision on their immigration status.” The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) was the second most publicly-funded charity among the eight analyzed nonprofits, receiving more than $17 million between 2013 and 2015, data shows. Government grants accounted for only a small portion of its revenue. The group’s 2012 and 2016 990s were unavailable, but NCLR received an average of more than $5 million each year. La Raza’s political action committee endorsed Clinton for president during the 2016 campaign. It was the group’s first-ever presidential candidate endorsement. La Raza’s president and CEO Janet Murguia is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement strategies, comparing his promise to deport illegal immigrants to both the African slave trade and the predominantly Japanese internment camps established in the U.S. following Japan’s surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Americans For Immigrant Justice received nearly $8 million in government grants between 2012 and 2014 (its 2015 and 2016 990s were unavailable) — the third largest amount among the eight charities reviewed by TheDCNF. Public money accounted for nearly 91 percent of its total revenue, and it annually received $2.6 million on average. The nonprofit legal defense fund has represented detained illegal immigrants, and cases often involve the conditions of the facilities. “I dont have our financials in front of me, but those numbers are not direct government funding,” Americans for Immigrant Justice Deputy Director Michelle Ortiz told TheDCNF in an email. TheDCNF pulled the numbers from a line in the group’s 990 labeled: “government grants (contributions).” Ortiz did not respond further after TheDCNF inquired about the 990 data. Below are the five remaining publicly-funded nonprofits TheDCNF analyzed. (Graphic: Daily Caller News Foundation/Ethan Barton)TheDCNF was highly selective when deciding which charities it would sample. Ultimately, only groups with a national scope and focus that overtly assisted illegal immigrants and dealt exclusively in immigration matters were included. Nonprofits operating at local or state levels, those more covert about dealings with illegal immigrants, and groups that handle a variety of issues in addition to immigration were excluded. One group awarded significant public funding that TheDCNF excluded was the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Migration and Refugee Services, since its funding is lumped together with other services it provides. The Catholic Legal Immigration Network Inc. (CLINIC) was the only nonprofit analyzed that responded to requests for comment, besides Americans for Immigrant Justice. CLINIC initiated its “text4refugees” project with a federal grant of $525,000. Anonymous subscribers receive up to two texts per month from CLINIC about the citizenship application process. The group also used a $550,000 federal grant to provide training for its affiliates regarding legal protection for female immigrants who faced domestic violence and sexual assault and “are often fearful to access legal services or law enforcement because of their legal status,” according to information provided by CLINIC spokeswoman Pat Zapor. “Our affiliates, the local nonprofit immigration service agencies, are the ones who deal directly with immigrants,” Zapor told TheDCNF. “So, indirectly, some subset of undocumented women who are victims of violence may benefit from the funding. But they do not get any direct ‘benefit’ beyond a better-trained legal representative.” __________________________ 11 Things American Taxpayers Should Know About Trump’s Executive Orders on Immigration JANUARY 2017
Reversal: 9th Court Rules, Illegal Aliens Entering U.S. Now Have Zero Right To Legal Representation
by Sam Di Gangi | Feb 13, 2017 For one of the only times in U.S. history, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in a way that helps America. There is a saying that even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. Another popular way of saying close to the same thing is that even a broken wall clock is right twice a day. There will surely be even more such sayings being created now that the blind squirrels that make up the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals have chosen now as the time to finally come out with a ruling that helps the American people. This court has ruled that those who have been apprehended entering the country illegally have no legal right to representation. It seems as if the word “illegal” means something, after all. The Democrats are going to have an absolute conniption fit as if the court had just ruled that it is now permissible to harm, torture, or otherwise abuse these “undocumented” people, but when it happens just remember that it is not true. This ruling is not saying that they have no human rights, a common and purposeful confusion often employed by the left, simply that they have no legal right to an attorney. This means that the American taxpayer is no longer going to have to foot the bill for the legal costs that pile up higher than the coming “Trump Wall.” The Constitution promises all American citizens the right to legal counsel, but we are not talking about citizens. This has long been the stance of those who understand the Constitution. It is so true that even those who do NOT have a firm grip of the Constitution (like the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, for instance), can see it. A court has ruled that it is not a legal right for lawyers to be given to those who enter America illegally. The ruling centered around the case of a “dreamer” who was caught in 2012 of breaking into the United States. He was safely returned to his home country the very next day. The whole affair came about while the court was addressing the bigger issue of Donald Trump’s travel ban from terrorist-sponsoring nations, as well as his dealings with the refugee crisis. The issue of the Fifth Amendment in regards to those who are not legal citizens came up in terms of those caught illegally entering the country. Furthermore, Red State reports that “Under a 1996 federal law, Customs and Border Protection officers can use a process called “expedited removal” to swiftly deport immigrants who are caught within 100 miles of the border without valid entry documents and who have been in the U.S. fewer than 14 days.” The amount of money, legal wrangling, and outright clogging of the legal process is coming to a blissful end by none other than the most liberal and misguided court in the whole nation. With every person arrested for entering America illegally given a lawyer, the process was tied up in a way that would be legal nowhere that has borders. Maybe it is the effect of common sense taking root. Many people know that tests have indicated that if even a group of monkeys (which is pretty close to the judges on this court) will experience what can be called “vast learning.” Scientists have taken a group of monkeys, taught them all a skill to such a degree that by means that we do not as a species even somewhat understand, other monkeys a vast distance away will somehow acquire the knowledge. Maybe enough rapes have happened in the E.U due to their open borders, perhaps enough beatings have occurred that in the United States that even the most left-leaning among us have seen the light. If not then, it may be that they are starting to understand why and how the Trump revolution is happening. America does not want to become the ugly and frigid-souled demons that the Democrats portray the movement as. No one wants to see anyone abused on American land for any reason because America has to preserve what makes us special, and part of that is lost when human rights are abused. However, there is a great gulf between seeing abuse which no one wants and seeing a deportation for a broken migration law, which most of us want. It is not a human right to come to America any more than it is a human right for Americans to just go strolling into any other nation. With America electing Trump to build the wall, there will be far less illegal immigrants needing lawyers, which is good, since they are no longer going to be getting any. It used to be that America took in those that were refugees, but now the term is used too often and there are so many that is is impossible to always be the nation to do that any longer. Also, people forget that those that came even from NAZI Germany had to wait up to six years to get into the nation. Even those at Ellis Island were detained for quite some time. The only reason that the practice ended was that as we learned more about the pathology of illnesses it became very unwise to hole up people from all over the world in one place, something that we did not know at the time. This means that the practice of extreme vetting is not what needed to end, only the way in which they were detained while vetted. The detainment stopped due to a medical discovery, not due to a sudden reason to no longer make people wait. Mexico’s president is against the U.S. honoring its borders while Mexico has one of the most stringent borders in the world. All that has just been said is why the courts have been full of traffic at the expense of the average American. It was somehow misconstrued that not denying a person’s human rights was akin to extending the rights of American citizens to those who did not even show us the kindness to “check in”, as it were. Doors have locks on them for a reason, and that reason is not so that someone in the house can put everyone at risk by purposefully leaving the door open with a neon light saying that the fridge is full. America is built on migration, but America can also be destroyed by it. NAFTA has made the jobs less available than in the days of Ellis Islands prime, not to mention that even then…sorry left, but if they were at Ellis Island then they did not sneak in. They came in via the big beautiful door that was the way that things were done before modern medicine managed to steer us from such practices. Now that the Ninth Circuit Court has taken this free legal ride away from those who enter illegally in order to tie up the system will have even LESS incentive to try and break in. America is getting greater every day! ___________________________ For the Confused Media: A Dummy’s Guide to Immigration and Refugee Problems
December 21, 2015 By Wallace Bruschweiler and William Palumbo — With the Syrian (so-called) refugee crisis ubiquitous in the headlines, the media has found itself dealing with immigration issues on a daily basis. Unfortunately, extreme confusion abounds. The media’s total inability to draw basic distinctions regarding immigration to the United States, both legal and illegal is harming the public’s ability to digest this important topic. Immigration terms are being thrown around print media, radio, and television that have no relation to the real facts or existing laws. The following is the dummy’s guide to some of the most important distinctions regarding legal and illegal immigration to the United States. It is sincerely hoped that this will help to end the erroneous reasons and multitude of excuses offered by the media on a daily, almost hourly, basis. Legal Immigration Visas
Refugees should not be considered a part of the immigration system, legal or illegal. The Refugee Resettlement program is administered by the federal government (U.S. Department of State) and the United Nations. In the U.S., the program is managed by politically-connected NGO’s (including many who are connected to the Catholic Church), and who receive money per refugee they process.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, “Across the U.S., there are 340 cities, counties, and states that are considered “sanctuary cities”. These jurisdiction[s] protect criminal aliens from deportation by refusing to comply with ICE detainers or otherwise impede open communication and information exchanges between their employees or officers and federal immigration agents.” In other words, these are cities, counties, and states where existing federal law is intentionally ignored by local authorities. For a map of these places, click here. Conclusion The entry checks for immigrants are sophisticated (ten-finger prints, pictures, and names). But there are no checks whatsoever regarding their exit. Therefore, it is impossible to provide accurate figures on overstays, illegal entries, etc. The American immigration system is abused through both legal and illegal channels. Because of the complexity of the issue, the media regularly confuses and/or conflates the problems associated with the system. Despite the challenges and complexities, the laws already exist to enforce immigration and ensure the integrity of the system, and in turn keep Americans safe. Special time and effort should be dedicated to develop and implement accurate and feasible exit procedures. RELATED VIDEO: History of Immigration in the U.S. for Dummies Judge: Texas can deny birth certificates for U.S.-born children of some immigrants
Molly Hennessy-FiskeContact Reporter A federal judge ruled Friday that Texas officials can continue to deny U.S. birth certificates to the children of immigrants who cannot supply required identification because they entered the country illegally. Though children born in the United States are entitled by law to U.S. citizenship regardless of the immigration status of their parents, Texas authorities have been placing significant barriers to immigrants who have entered the country illegally and are seeking birth certificates for their U.S.-born children. In his ruling denying an emergency order sought by families, Judge Robert L. Pitman of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in San Antonio said Texas officials can refuse to accept matricula consular cards, issued by Mexican consulates, as a form of identification to obtain birth certificates for U.S.-born children. “While the Court is very troubled at the prospect of Texas-born children, and their parents, being denied issuance of a birth certificate,” Pitman wrote, “Texas has a clear interest in protecting access to that document.” See the most-read stories this hour >>Although Pitman noted the families’ attorneys had “provided evidence which raises grave concerns regarding the treatment of citizen children born to immigrant parents,” he said the court needed more evidence before issuing the emergency injunction they had sought. The case comes at a time when birthright citizenship for the children of immigrants, enshrined in the Constitution, has been challenged by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and other conservatives. Republican Texas Atty. Gen. Ken Paxton praised the ruling as “an important first step in ensuring the integrity of birth certificates and personal identity information.” Sign up for our daily Essential Politics newsletter“Before issuing any official documents, it’s important for the state to have a way to accurately verify people are who they say they are through reliable identification mechanisms,” Paxton said in a statement. Paxton vowed to continue defending the state’s “policy on safeguarding Texans’ most sensitive information and vital documents.” More than two dozen immigrant parents in South Texas sued the state this year on behalf of 32 children they claim had been denied birth certificates and access to vital services. The lead attorney for the children, Jennifer Harbury of Texas RioGrande Legal Aid Inc., said their families understood the judge’s decision but worry about the safety of their children in the interim. “Without their birth certificates, they are having difficulty gaining access to basic services, including school and medical care,” Harbury said Friday. “Texas must allow a clear path for all children born in this country to gain access to birth certificates and their full rights as citizens. It may not establish an obstacle course for these children alone.” __________________________ |
Dr. Dobson's July Newsletter
Dear Friends, Several weeks ago, I was invited by White House staff to visit our southern border at McAllen, Texas, where federal agents are struggling to deal with a massive influx of poor and destitute human beings. They come in never-ending waves. Please believe me when I tell you that the media and leftist politicians have not been truthful about what is going on there. It is a human tragedy. I promised the exhausted U.S. Custom and Border Patrol agents that I would go home and tell as many people as possible what I had seen "up close and personal." Today, I am attempting to fulfill that commitment. Approximately 5,500 people show up every day in districts organized along our southern U.S. border. McAllen is the site of only one of them, but it is the busiest and most besieged. The "refugees" arrive exhausted and ragged from walking hundreds of miles. Among them are large numbers of children, many of whom are unaccompanied by a caring adult. Last year, 382,000 aliens were apprehended for illegally crossing into this country and almost 100,000 of them were minors. Some of the kids have been abused along the way. Many of them carry lice, scabies or other diseases. Currently, the facility I visited is experiencing a flu epidemic, and there are no additional beds on which to lie. Some of the women have been raped. More than 70 people of all ages are sent to local hospitals daily along the southern border. Doctors and medical staff are overwhelmed by their patient load. Remember that word, "overwhelmed." It describes every aspect of the effort to deal with the situation there. The most heart-wrenching experience occurred during our tour of the holding area. It is a huge gym-like building consisting of dozens of fenced-in areas. Each one is crowded with detainees standing or sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on benches. They stared out at us with plaintive eyes. I noticed that almost none of them were talking to each other. The children looked traumatized and frightened. Tears flooded my eyes as I stood before them. They had no toys or dolls, except for a few items bought by compassionate border patrol agents. One tiny little girl clutched something that resembled a doll bought for her by an agent. There are few provisions made to accommodate the children. The week before we were there, a delegation of agents went to meet with members of Congress, and begged them for additional money to buy Pampers, toothbrushes, and other necessities. They were turned down flat. These meager supplies have to be purchased with the border patrol budget, which is stretched to the limit. I then walked up to a fenced area holding many skinny young men. An agent standing beside me asked if I would like to speak to them. He offered to translate for me, to which I replied, "Please tell them that God loves them." Then I said, "Now tell them that I love them, too." They smiled and waved timidly. My heart aches for these poor people. Lest I be misunderstood, let me make clear that I am among the majority of Americans who want the border to be closed to those who attempt to enter illegally. There has to be a better solution than this. I have wondered, with you, why the authorities don't just deny these refugees access to this nation. Can't we just send them back to their places of origin? The answer I received was "No," for reasons I will explain. Only 10 percent of the detainees are Mexicans. This year alone, people have come to our southern border from 127 countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, India, China, Palestine, Albania, San Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and other nations around the world. They speak their native tongues, which means they can't be understood by each other or the staff. What are we to do with them? The Mexican government will not take them back, and there is no place to send them. Our current laws do not permit us to repatriate them to their country of origin. This is a disaster with no solution or projected conclusion. Let me tell you how these desperate people come to be our responsibility. They are the lowest rung of many societies. They sell their shanties and any other possessions to scrape together $3,500 to $10,000 to pay "coyotes" to guide them. I don't know what happens to those who can't meet this demand. Apparently, most manage to pay the fee, and arrive penniless and profoundly needy. I was told that some of the vulnerable children are "recycled" repeatedly to help men gain entry to this country. An unknown number of these men are hardened criminals and drug runners, and they are difficult to identify. Most make their way across the border. Here's something else you should know. I have been under the impression that these would-be immigrants try to cross the Rio Grande River and outrun or evade the agents. That is not true of most. They come in large groups, from 100 to 400 people at a time. As I write this letter, a record 1,200 people arrived together at El Paso. The refugees quickly give themselves up to agents. That is why they have made this journey. They know they will be fed, medicated, and treated humanely, even if they are in holding areas while they are in our custody. Then they will be released on American soil. This is the system set up by a liberal Congress and judges. It is a well-known fact that President Obama's administration established many of these unworkable policies, and Congress is steadfastly unwilling to change them. Every effort at reform has been overridden or ignored. It is set in stone. Democrats want massive numbers of immigrants who will someday become voters. Some Republicans support the policies because they want cheap labor for agricultural purposes. The border could be fixed, but there are very few in authority who seem to care. Getting back to my story, our group of national faith leaders and humanitarian organizations was taken to a grassy park underneath the international bridges where the "coyotes" bring the refugees. We stood 50 feet away from them and watched as about 200 people sat on the ground. Then buses arrived to transport them to Border Control. Agents have to work fast because another group will be showing up soon, and then another and another. The would-be immigrants are taken to the center and given cursory medical exams. Then they are segregated by sex and age and placed in the fenced-in areas to be held for the next 20 days until they are processed and given a Notice to Appear. If that sounds inhumane, what would you or I do? There is simply no other place to "house" them. Mismanagement of the border has a long history. A federal judge years ago issued a ruling called the Flores Settlement Agreement. It is still the source of many problems. It requires that any unaccompanied alien child must be released within 72 hours. This is now the law of the land, and poor people around the world know it. A single male typically seeks to find a child and a woman to help him "game the system." Clearly, many of these are "fake families," but there is no documentation in Pakistani or Bangladesh to challenge their claims. Lawyers at home have told them to claim that they are fleeing from oppression or seeking asylum. They are allowed to plead their cases to judges, but there are too few of them to keep up with the volume. These people are given a court case and released. The vast majority are never seen again. Most then become "anchor babies" who are citizens with rights to bring members of their families. Others are given transportation to an American city where they disappear into the culture. In addition to this influx of people from places around the world steeped in poverty and despair, Senator Chuck Schumer authored and helped pass a "lottery" system, whereby winners are brought to the United States. They become permanent residents, who then begin bringing their families to our shores. Thank you, Senator. Ten years ago, 90 percent of illegals apprehended at the border were single males, mainly from Mexico. Now, more than 50 percent show up with babies and children, and 90 percent of them are from countries other than Mexico with 64 percent being family units or unaccompanied alien children. Together, they claim to be "families" and within three weeks, they will be home free in America. Is there any doubt why there have been more than half a million illegal immigrants this year alone? Before I conclude, I must tell you about the agents who have to deal with this chaos. They are compassionate men and women, sworn to uphold federal law and protect our borders. They obviously care about the detainees, and I respect them highly. They work tirelessly feeding people three times a day and providing clean clothing. They must also maintain the portable toilets in the cells. It is a never-ending task. There are only two large showers in the facility, one for males, the other for females. Their capacity is for only 20 people at a time, which is insufficient. The border patrol agents administer this program, but most of them didn't sign up to be caregivers. Agents were trained to patrol the border and apprehend drug runners, traffickers, smugglers, murderers, and every kind of lawbreaker. This is very dangerous work. But, please understand this: the border patrol agents are so busy caring for refugees seeking entry to the United States that they have very little time to police the borders. It is so porous that huge quantities of contraband, including all kinds of narcotics, flow into this country every day. Then it is transported northward to America's cities to be consumed by adolescents and millennials. Lawless gangs, such as MS-13, are also pouring into the culture, making violence for inner cities a way of life. There is one more aspect to the work of the agents that you should know. They are openly hated by citizens who resent the work they do. They are routinely vilified and mocked and demonized. Their families are also subjected to ridicule. These agents need our appreciation and prayers. They have one of the most thankless jobs in America. The situation I have described is the reason President Donald Trump's border wall is so urgently needed. He seems to be the only leader in America who comprehends this tragedy and is willing to address it. Those who oppose him do everything they can to impede his effort. That is why I went to the border to see the situation for myself. I came away with an array of intense emotions. First, I was profoundly grieved over the misery of thousands of people. Second, I felt a deep appreciation for those who are doing their best to help in an impossible circumstance. Third, and frankly, I was angry at the political fat cats who have deliberately allowed this chaos to occur for political or financial gain. They, and their friends in the fake media, have told the American people that there is no crisis at the border! Shame on them all. What I've told you is only a glimpse of what is occurring on the nation's border. I don't know what it will take to change the circumstances. I can only report that without an overhaul of the law and the allocation of resources, millions of illegal immigrants will continue flooding to this great land from around the world. Many of them have no marketable skills. They are illiterate and unhealthy. Some are violent criminals. Their numbers will soon overwhelm the culture as we have known it, and it could bankrupt the nation. America has been a wonderfully generous and caring country since its founding. That is our Christian nature. But in this instance, we have met a worldwide wave of poverty that will take us down if we don't deal with it. And it won't take long for the inevitable consequences to happen. Thanks for letting me set the record straight. P.S. I want to conclude this disturbing account of the border situation with a suggested "action item" for the reader. There is one solution as I see it, which is for people of faith to pray for our President as he seeks to deal with this humanitarian crisis. He is facing enormous opposition from both political parties, the mainstream media, the entertainment industry, the judiciary, portions of agriculture, powerful lobbies, and virtually every dimension of the culture. I know of no one with political influence besides the President who seems to care about the crisis at the border. Will you join us in making it a matter for concerted prayer? __________________________ INVASION! Rep. Jody Hice Says Border Crisis is ‘Chilling to the Bone’
By Jeremiah Poff - June 9, 2019 EDITOR’S NOTE: Facebook is cracking down on Conservative content. Many of you have complained that you never see our content in your news feeds. There’s only one way to fight back — and that’s by subscribing to my FREE weekly newsletter. Click here. The immigration crisis at the US southern border continues to be a point of contention and gridlock for Washington politics, but the urgency of the issue is not lost on one member of the House Freedom Caucus. Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) did not mince words about the dire situation at the border during an interview on The Todd Starnes Radio Show. “It is a crisis of indescribable proportions and it is absolutely chilling to the bone to see it in person,” Hice said, noting that a whopping 36 tons of marijuana cross that section of the border every week (not to mention the tons of cocaine and heroin that are also trafficked weekly). Since December more than 200,000 illegal aliens claiming to be family members have been released into the United States. It’s absolutely outrageous. The crisis at the border has left the men and women of the US Border Patrol “overwhelmed” and “not prepared” for the sheer quantity of the migrants coming to the border seeking to gain entry into the United States, the congressman said. “The numbers that are being apprehended are indescribable,” he said. “As a result we’re just seeing increased groups coming across the border from all over the world.” The Georgia congressman said that those asylum-seekers overwhelming border patrol agents have been released into communities, due to a “loophole” in asylum law. “This is not a manufactured crisis as they have been lying to the American people,” Hice said. “This thing is for real.” Starnes asserted that Democrats “don’t care” about the issue of immigration, and said “the American people are beyond frustrated” as it seems that President Trump’s national emergency doesn’t seem to be doing much at the moment. “Things are happening,” Hice reassured Starnes, “but there’s no question those areas of progress are happening with the pulling and scratching and gnashing of teeth from the Democrats to stop it all, and it’s all coming just simply from hatred for the president.” The Freedom Caucus member said that around 16 thousand illegal immigrants are apprehended every week, and are brought by drug cartels who profit off of trafficking migrants to the United States. “It’s about $82 million a week that the cartels are profiting just here in the Rio Grande Valley,” Hice said. “You compare that with an annual budget that our Border Patrol has here in this sector of about 13 million a year…it gives you just an idea of just how intense the crisis is and the battle that our Border Patrol agents are up against.” __________________________ Open-immigration warning to President Donald Trump
Dear Mr. President: I’m sure you’ve anticipated this dire warning about allowing the migrant crisis at our southern border to continue. Stated clearly based on highly reliable sources: permitting the Flores Decision to spew tens of thousands of illegal aliens into the United States has opened the door to epidemics of diseases such as influenza, measles and SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome, a frequently fatal affliction) to be spread across the country. There have already been five cases of death from influenza in the last six months among illegals detained in border holding facilities. Some say that’s not many to worry about. But the absolute danger is in letting thousands upon thousands of possibly sick detainees into the general population of American citizens that you have sworn to protect from all harm, including disease contracted from persons illegally in the United States. According to our basic immigration law, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 (The McCarran-Walter Act) such persons with communicable diseases are not to be admitted into the United States. You must, if you are to remain president, use your power as chief executive to declare martial law, if necessary, to prevent foreigners infected with serious diseases from being allowed into the country, and permitted to spread out to jeopardize the health of citizens in communities all across America. There’s even more disaster to prevent. Another major, open-borders immigration issue you must face with courage and decisiveness is that migrant detainment facilities in our southern border states can no longer hold the nearly half-million migrants that have crossed into the U.S. illegally since the beginning of this year. Your Department of Homeland Security appears ready to put many thousands of these illegals on busses and send them out unannounced and without permission to cities and towns that don’t have the resources or facilities to provide for them. Dumping these unfortunate foreigners--deceived into invading the U.S. by cayotes and the drug cartels--onto our street corners and town squares is going to bring a terrible crime wave to the nation started by helpless migrants who have no where to turn but to crime to obtain their essentials of life. Certainly, it’s a fact that all our charities combined can’t provide for their vital needs, particularly if our broken and failing immigration laws allow unlimited millions of destitute and desperate asylees into the nation. Their only option will be to frantically search for--and most likely be forced to steal for--money, food, clothing and shelter. If you want to remain president, you cannot allow this chaos and nationwide crime to occur. All those who voted for you, including me, will be carefully watching what you do to relieve this terrible situation. Your victory in November 2020 depends on how you act to protect the nation. It will mean that you will have to ignore unlawful rulings from activist judges who do not have the authority to extend their decisions beyond the geographic limits of their own federal circuit jurisdictions. Have your attorneys look into this. You must, if you want to preserve your presidency. Please understand that you do not have to abide, you must not abide, by the decisions of these biased, activist judges. Should you continue to yield to them, you are placing the executive branch of the federal government in a position second to, and far below, the judicial branch of the government…a situation that is vastly in violation of the United States Constitution. Defend the Constitution…defend the American people. If you don’t, I fear there could soon be a civil insurrection to restore the rights of the American people who demand that their sovereignty and security be protected as you, President Trump, swore you would do when you took the oath of office of President of the United States. May God not let such an upheaval happen. Please heed what I say…the immigration crisis, if it continues, will be enough to destroy your presidency. Tim Brown / April 26, 2019 While I’ve been covering the corruption in the State of Florida, the Florida House of Representatives and the Senate both have voted in favor of legislation to ban sanctuary cities in the Sunshine State, and Governor Ron DeSantis is expected to sign the legislation passed by the Senate on Friday. Following the vote by the House of Representatives, 69-47, in favor of legislation that would ban sanctuary cities in Florida, the Senate voted 22-18 to pass the legislation. Now, the bill will go back to the House to clear up discrepancies in each version before it is sent to Governor DeSantis’ desk. There is nothing expected to stand in the way of the legislation being signed into law. OANN’s Ryan James Girdusky tweeted, “This bill isn’t about immigration policy, this about working with the federal government to enforce the existing law.” “Remember, only 15 percent of illegal immigrants who have been arrested get detainer requests and it doesn’t guarantee you’re going to be deported,” he added. Frankly, for a hundred years in the US, states determined immigration law until someone came up with the idea that the feds were better at that. Personally, I think that the more local government is the better it works in most cases because those representing the people have to actually look them in the eye and give an account for what they are doing or what they are failing to do. While this seems to be a victory for Florida as the governor does support increased border securityand the building of a wall on the southern border, despite the fact that immigrants arrive by boat on Florida shores and disappear into the population all the time, I’m also hoping that Governor DeSantis will also address the growing corruption in the state, especially as it mounts from all directions against one particular woman. ___________________________ Illegal immigrant stabs California woman to death after 'sanctuary' laws protected suspect from ICE 9 times
Posted on March 13, 2019 by Breck Dumas in News An illegal immigrant with prior convictions and multiple arrests for offenses such as false imprisonment and battery has been taken into custody in the stabbing death of a woman in San Jose, California. Law enforcement officials decried the state’s sanctuary law as they revealed that before the murder, Santa Clara County officials ignored no less than nine U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer requests for the self-professed gang member. What are the details?Police say Carlos Eduardo Arevalo Carranza, 24, stalked 59-year-old Bambi Larson before breaking into her home and killing her in her bedroom last month. Larson’s body was discovered by her son on Feb. 28, when he checked in on her after she failed to show up for work. Carranza was arrested Monday after investigators linked him to the crime using DNA evidence from Larson’s home. He was also seen on security footage “stalking” the area near Larson’s home on the day of her murder and well as leaving the residence after the crime was committed. The transient’s lengthy rap sheet goes back to 2013 when he was arrested for crossing into the U.S. at the southern border. He was deported back to Mexico but returned only to be arrested another 10 times with at least three convictions prior to Larson’s murder, according to the Daily Mail. At the time of his arrest, Carranza was on probation for false imprisonment, burglary, and possession of methamphetamine. How could this happen?San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia revealed at a news conference that ICE had applied nine times for a detainer on Carranza, which would have allowed for the suspect to be held longer than his jail term in order to allow federal authorities time to investigate his immigration status. But county officials ignored the repeated requests due to Santa Clara’s sanctuary status, allowing Carranza to be released and commit further crimes. Garcia slammed the practice of freeing immigrant offenders rather than assisting ICE, saying, “This isn’t about politics, this is about public safety.” “We are here to protect and embrace our otherwise law-abiding, undocumented residents,” Garcia added. “We are not here nor should we be here to shield admitted gangsters or violent criminals regardless of immigration status.” ICE field director Erik Bonnar also spoke out against sanctuary policies, asking in a statement, “How many more people have to be killed or injured before California lawmakers will open discussions to revise the state policy prohibiting local law enforcement agencies from working with ICE to apprehend dangerous criminal aliens? “It’s unfortunate that our communities face dangerous consequences because of inflexible state laws that protect criminal aliens,” Bonnar said in the statement. “These sanctuary policies have unintended, but very real, and often tragic consequences to public safety.” Source: Blaze ____________________________ Report: Company Says It Can Build 234 Miles of Border Wall for Just $1.4 BillionS
By Jack Davis Published March 5, 2019 at 5:22pm Share Tweet Email Print A businessman is making President Donald Trump an offer he hopes Trump will not refuse. The president and CEO of Fisher Sand and Gravel Co. told the Washington Examiner he could build 234 miles of wall on the U.S.-Mexico border for $1.4 billion — if President Donald Trump can get the rulebook and the bureaucracy out of the way. For $4.31 billion, Tommy Fisher said, his company could build the Cadillac version of a border barrier, complete with a high-speed highway on the U.S. side of the wall for Border Patrol agents and the latest in technology to help detect migrants trying to enter the U.S. illegally. “Our whole point is to break through the government bureaucracy,” Fisher told the Examiner. “If they do the small procurements as they are now … that’s not going to cut it.” Trump has $1.375 billion in wall funding available, but Congress tied a string to the funding so that it can be used only in the Rio Grande Valley. Fisher said that for $1.4 billion he could build the 20 miles required in the Rio Grande Valley, plus another 214 miles of wall. He said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” that the work could be completed by the 2020 election. Fisher said he would build a levee wall in the valley. The money Congress appropriated funds steel slat fencing. The 234 miles of wall Fisher wants to build would last for 75 to 80 years, he said. He said he could get the work done because he moved quickly when it became apparent that a steel wall would be preferable. “Whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, you can get behind this,” Fisher said on “Fox & Friends.” “If you need it done now — nothing against government bureaucracy, but it takes time — so you need an expert to come in there and do it now and do it right,” he said. Trump is seeking $8 billion overall for the wall project, including $3.1 billion from reallocated defense funding and $3.6 billion from his emergency declaration. Rep. Michael Burgess, a Republican from Texas, recently spoke to The Daily Signal about the need for a border barrier. RELATED: Sen. David Perdue Went to the Border To See for Himself, He Was Not Prepared for What He Saw “Wall, fence, barrier. It is absolutely critical,” Burgess said. He said that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “stood up in front of a microphone after the president gave his Oval Office address. She and (Senate Minority Leader) Chuck Schumer did kind of what looked like to be a hostage video in the Capitol. But she said, ‘We want sensors, and we want to be able to detect when someone has crossed our border.’ No. With all respect to the speaker, we want to prevent someone from crossing our border. “It does us no good to detect it, and then a week later, we can get someone out there to see where it was that they crossed. That’s not helpful when you’ve got numbers to the degree that we’ve got. “And, look, I don’t minimize the problems that people are having in other countries. But I will say this, the United States. … First off, we’re the most generous country on the face of the earth when it comes to immigration: 1.1 million people a year come into this country legally. “And people shouldn’t forget that because we’re oftentimes branded as being heartless, putting a ‘closed’ sign up on the State of Liberty. No. We are the most welcoming country on the face of the earth. All of the other countries combined do not allow the people in that we allow in.” Burgess also suggested that as long as Central American nations are the source of so much illegal immigration, they should pay a price. “Their governments are corrupt. They don’t do the work that is required to protect their people, and their people get hurt. And so they decide to come north,” he said. “I have introduced a bill for a couple of Congresses that said, ‘We are sending you foreign aid generously, courtesy of the taxpayers of America. If you are not willing to do the job to take care of your children, when we end up taking care of them on our side of the border in facilities run by the Office of Refugee Resettlement … it’s an expensive venture. … We are going to charge you a surcharge per child,” Burgess said. “No, we know you’ll never pay the bill. We’ll just deduct it from your foreign aid check. It will be smaller when it arrives.” ___________________________ VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: The ironies of illegal immigration
January 10, 2019 Estimates suggest that there are 11 million to 13 million Mexican citizens currently living in the United States illegally. Millions more emigrated previously and are now U.S. citizens. A recent poll revealed that one-third of Mexicans (34 percent) would like to emigrate to the United States. With Mexico having a population of about 130 million, that amounts to some 44 million would-be immigrants. Such massive potential emigration into the United States makes no sense. First, Mexico is a naturally rich country. It ranks 19th in the world in proven oil reserves and is currently the 12th-largest oil producer. Mexico certainly has significantly more natural advantages than do far wealthier per capita Singapore, Taiwan or Chile. Mexico also is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations and earns billions in foreign exchange from visitors. It enjoys a temperate climate, is rich in minerals, and has millions of acres of fertile farmland and a long coastline. In addition to being strategically located as a bridge between North America and South America, Mexico has ports on both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. It is not an overcrowded country: Mexico ranks in the lower half of the world in population density. Too many people and too little land are certainly not the reasons why millions of Mexicans either emigrate or wish to emigrate to the United States. Second, popular progressive narratives in both Mexico and the United States cite America for all sorts of pathologies, past and present. The United States is often damned for prior colonialism and imperialism, as well as current racism and xenophobia. Why, then, would millions of people south of the border leave their own homeland and potentially risk their lives to encounter a strange culture and language, to live in such a purportedly inhospitable place, and to adopt to an antithetical system based on supposedly toxic European and Protestant traditions? The answers to these two paradoxes are as obvious as they are politically incorrect and therefore seldom voiced. Life in Mexico is relatively poor, dangerous and often unfree. In contrast, the United States is rich, generous and secure. Mexico — unlike, say, Japan or Switzerland, which are far less naturally endowed and yet far wealthier — has never fully adopted Western paradigms of free-market economics, constitutionally protected free speech, due process, gender equity, private property rights, an autonomous press, government transparency, an independent judiciary, and religious diversity and tolerance. To the degree that Mexico can make strides toward these goals, its population will stabilize and become more affluent — and also become less likely to emigrate. More importantly, millions of Mexican citizens recognize (at least privately) that the United States is not the bogeyman of mostly elite critiques. Instead, it is one of the world’s rare multiracial, equal-opportunity societies. It is generous with its entitlements even to those who cross its border illegally, and far more meritocratic than most of the world’s highly tribal societies. Maybe that is why millions of impoverished people from Mexico have left their homes in expectation that they will be treated far better as foreign, non-English speakers in a strange land than they will at home by their own government. Indeed, if the U.S. treated immigrants in the fashion that Mexico does, then Mexican citizens would probably never emigrate to the U.S. In sum, illegal immigration is both logical and nonsensical. After all, the Mexican government is quick to fault the U.S., but it is rarely introspective. It does not explain publicly why its own citizens wish to flee the country where they were born — or why they are eager to enter a country that is so often ridiculed by the Mexican press and government. Mexico apparently does not take care of its own citizens. But once they arrive inside the U.S., Mexico suddenly becomes an advocate for their welfare. No wonder: Mexican expatriates send back an estimated $30 billion a year in remittances. Real and would-be emigrants themselves also act ironically. On both sides of the border, they often fault the U.S. and demand that U.S. immigration law be suspended — but only in their case. Emigrating Mexican citizens wave Mexican flags at the border as they try to enter America, while their counterparts inside the U.S. do the same when they protest being sent back home. Apparently, no one in Mexico or in the U.S. ever wishes to admit that Mexican citizens really like the United States — apparently far more than they do their own homeland. Dems won’t be pleased with recently resurfaced videos of Sen. Chuck Schumer talking tough on illegal immigration
'Illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the United States legally' Andrew Burton/Getty Images SARAH TAYLOR Recently resurfaced videos featuring Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) discussing border protection and illegal immigration are making the rounds on the internet. The majority of Democrats likely won't be happy at Schumer's remarks about both. Did Schumer say he would support a border fence? In a 2009 video filmed at the 6th Annual Immigration Law and Policy Conference at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Schumer declared that he would support a border fence spanning hundreds of miles at the U.S.-Mexico border for national safety. He said the fence would be a "significant barrier to illegal immigration," which he called "wrong, plain and simple." He went on to criticize the politically correct terms used to discuss illegal immigrants. "When we use phrases like 'undocumented workers,' we convey a message to the American people that their government is not serious about combating illegal immigration, which the American people overwhelmingly oppose," Schumer said. He added that people who enter the U.S. without proper credentials are "illegal aliens," and "illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the United States legally." "Any immigration solution must recognize that we must do as much as we can to gain operational control of our borders as soon as possible," Schumer added. What else did he say?The senator continued his tirade against illegal immigration, which he said had to be addressed. "The American people need to know that because of our efforts in Congress, our border is far more secure today than it was when we began debating comprehensive immigration reform in 2005," Schumer boasted. "Between 2005 and 2009, a vast amount of progress has been made on our borders and ports of entry." Such progress, he noted, included construction of 630 miles of border fencing. December 14, 2018 by Jerry McCormick Image via Chess Ocampo / Shutterstock.com This is the story you will probably never hear in the mainstream media. Mexico has closed down its southern border with Guatemala, telling immigrants to “get in line.” The Untold StoryEveryone in the world has been following the so-called migrant caravan’s journey to the southern U.S. border. Liberals believe the United States should allow anyone and everyone to cross the border to seek a better life. What they don’t tell you is how Mexico is reacting to being the go-between for these migrants and the border of the United States. The country faced numerous problems as it was being overrun by thousands of migrants. But after several days of very serious problems, the government finally took the stance that enough was enough. The southern border of the country was closed and all entry points were shut down except one. Now, if migrants want to come into Mexico, they have to cross a bridge across the Suchiate River. A government spokesperson stated: “In the south, there will be only one entry, on the bridge.” Those wishing to enter the country must now literally get in line or they will not be permitted into Mexico. Funny how that works, isn’t it? In Their Wake…As the media portrays America as the bad guy in all of this, we are slowly but surely getting a much better idea of what this caravan is all about. Pictures of debris and attacks on border agents are slowly but surely making their way around, proving that these are not just people looking for a better life, but also some with nefarious thoughts in their minds. Nobody is saying the United States should not allow immigrants into the country. All we’re asking for is a controlled immigration system that will not allow this country to be overrun or possibly allow criminals to slip through the cracks. Mexico learned the hard way. Hopefully, that will not be the case with our own Democrat representatives. ___________________________ Thursday, 29 November 2018
Nearly 2,500 Migrants in Tijuana Sick With Communicable Diseases Written by R. Cort Kirkwood If wrecking American sovereignty, lowering wages, and increasing the public welfare load aren’t reasons enough to oppose the influx of migrant invaders sitting in Tijuana, here is another: At least 30 percent of them are sick with communicable diseases they might spread to Americans in schools, hospitals, welfare and employment offices, and other public places. And by “sick,” officials in Mexico don’t mean the common cold. They mean serious disease. Some of the migrants are turning around and heading home after months of traveling through Mexico, as The New American reported today. But with a third of the 6,000 or so in Tijuana coughing and breaking out in blisters, now is not the time for the Trump administration to weaken. AIDS, TB, and Chickenpox That’s because the diseases many of the migrants carry are deadly — or can be. “Out of 6,000 migrants currently residing in the city, over a third of them (2,267) are being treated for health-related issues,” Fox News reported. So far, officials have confirmed three cases of tuberculosis, four cases of AIDS, and four separate cases of chickenpox, the network reported. Even worse, they’ve also brought in bugs. Real bugs. At least 101, Fox reported, carry lice and “skin infections.” That means the migrants might well start a typhus epidemic or bring in chagas disease. According to the Centers for Disease Control, the body louse is the vector for the typhus bacterium, Rickettsia prowazekii. “Epidemic typhus is spread to people through contact with infected body lice,” CDC says. It noted the disease is uncommon these days, although “epidemic typhus was responsible for millions of deaths in previous centuries.” But cases continue to occur, in areas where extreme overcrowding is common and body lice can travel from one person to another.” The Benito Juarez Sports Complex, where the migrants are housed, is one such overcrowded area: 6,000 are packed into an area meant for 1,000. Chagas is another of the many benefits the migrants might bring. And unlike louse-borne typhus, chagas is not rare. It’s epidemic in Latin America. Blood-sucking triatomine bugs cause the disease: These blood-sucking bugs get infected by biting an infected animal or person. Once infected, the bugs pass T. cruzi parasites in their feces. The bugs are found in houses made from materials such as mud, adobe, straw, and palm thatch. During the day, the bugs hide in crevices in the walls and roofs. During the night, when the inhabitants are sleeping, the bugs emerge. Because they tend to feed on people’s faces, triatomine bugs are also known as “kissing bugs.” Some eight million people in Mexico, Central America, and South America have it, and most don’t know it. Officials also worry about a hepatitis outbreak because of the filth in the Benito Juarez Sports Complex. “The location also has only 35 portable bathrooms,” Fox reported. “A sign reading ‘No Spitting’ was put up, as coughing and spitting by migrants are rampant in the shelter.” Multi-Drug Resistant TB Particularly worrisome is how many of the migrants carry a particularly virulent form of TB that is resistant to multiple antibiotics. Frightening data appeared in a paper published last year by the National Center for Biotechnology Information. It reported that 37,684 immigrants with TB entered the United States between 2005 and 2009. The most, 24.1 percent, or 9,098, came from Mexico. Another 1,154, or 3.1 percent, came from Guatemala, while 853, or 2.3 percent, came from Honduras, where the migrant invasion began. But that’s TB generally. Of more concern are the multi-drug resistant cases that came in: 482. Again, Mexico accounted for most of those: 66 or 13.7 percent. Fourteen Guatemalans had the disease, accounting for about three percent. None, apparently, came from Honduras. MDR TB is a pressing concern, CDC reports, because “it is resistant to ... the two most potent TB drugs ... used to treat all persons with TB.” Another 2,000 migrants are headed for Tijuana. They will pack the sports complex even tighter. If the 33-percent figure for sick migrants in Tijuana now holds true for those on the way, the town will be faced with another 660 very sick people. Question: Is the United States expected to permit the entry of nearly 3,000 sick people, and if so, who will pay to treat their myriad diseases? ___________________________ Thousands of migrants have left the caravan and want asylum in Mexico
October 26, 2018 by Jerry McCormick There is another story behind the Central American migrant caravan approaching our border, but you won’t hear much about it from the mainstream media. Of the roughly 7,000 migrants believed to have joined the caravan, nearly 2,000 of them have fallen off and are now asking for asylum in Mexico or heading back home. The JourneyReality is finally starting to settle in for the members of this caravan. President Donald Trump has been adamant they will not be allowed to cross into the United States. After having been on the road for weeks, many of them are now realizing their journey has been for nothing. Some are already trying to end their journey in Mexico. Others are taking the offer to be given transportation back to their own country. The Untold StoryThe real story here, though, it what is happening in Mexico to these migrants. Liberals and Mexican leadership have chastised the immigration policies of the Trump administration. They have demanded Trump open the border to allow more people to come into the country without going through the normal checks. However, the Mexican government has dropped the hammer on this caravan and is squeezing them in an effort to repel them. The government could have supplied the migrants with water, but they didn’t. Nor did the government help provide meals or sleeping accommodations to the members of the caravan. Quite the opposite, actually. What is happening is Mexican authorities are literally ripping migrants out of cars and sending them back. Families are being separated while they are being processed in Mexican immigration offices. While all this is happening, the mainstream media is showing pictures of the locals embracing and helping the migrants as though everything is fine. The truth is, the Mexican government does not want these migrants in their country, yet they expect the United States to throw out a welcome mat. It really would be nice if for once, the mainstream media would tell the full and unedited truth… but we all know that will never happen in this political climate. ___________________________ Illegal immigrant indicted for police officer’s 2016 murder
September 12, 2018 by Jerry McCormick TheaDesign / Shutterstock.com While liberals want us to believe that every undocumented immigrant comes to this country is only looking for a better life, the facts tell a different story. Francisco Portillo-Fuentes, an undocumented immigrant, has been indicted for — among other things — aggravated manslaughter in the death of Nassau County Deputy Eric Oliver. They Are CriminalsLiberals are trying to romance this notion of crossing the border for a better life. But their rhetoric only serves to incite more people to try to come into the country illegally. In order to justify their rhetoric, they have to portray all undocumented immigrants as people chasing the American dream. The facts tell a much different story, though. Far too many of these undocumented immigrants are coming to America for criminal purposes. Various gangs, including MS-13, are exploiting our lax borders for their criminal activity, including drug trade and human trafficking. Portillo-Fuentes was no different — and his presence in this country cost an American citizen his life. Twice DeportedThis was not Portillo-Fuentes’ first run-in with law enforcement. Twice before, he had been deported, only to return illegally again. In this particular incident, Portillo-Fuentes fled after authorities approached him. His escape attempt resulted in the death of Oliver. The liberal media and Democrats will simply ignore this incident and others like it, though. They call these outliers, yet we see them reported on alternative conservative websites virtually every day. ___________________________ Outgoing ICE Director calls out selective outrage over detention of immigrants
July 1, 2018 The acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Tom Homan, is retiring from public service — but he is not going quietly. During a recent appearance on Fox & Friends, Homan ripped criticism of ICE’s handling of undocumented immigrants, calling it selective “outrage.” Not Leaving the FightHoman may be retiring from ICE, but he stated that he has no plans on leaving the fight for the agency to which he dedicated more than three decades. He stated he was actually apprehensive of retiring now, with the situation being what it is, but he believes he will also be able to say a lot more once he is officially out of the agency. Where Was the Outrage Then? One question Homan poses (and that many of us are also wondering) is: where was the outrage when criminal undocumented immigrants were taking the lives of Americans? He also pointed to the disgusting feigned outrage liberals are currently pointing towars ICE. These brave men and women strap up every day to keep our streets safer, yet they are being villainized by not only liberal citizens, but also by Democrats in office: Never BeforeICEwas formed in 2003 by the Department of Homeland Security while George W. Bush was in office. Over its 15-year existence, the agency has never been scrutinized the way it is today. Among its many duties, the agency is responsible for investigating, arresting, and deporting undocumented immigrants. This “duty” was going on under both Bush and Obama, but it was never questioned. Only now, because liberals are spreading a false narrative, is the agency taking unfair fire over its duties. The fact is: this agency has arrested thousands of criminals to protect American citizens — but Democrats in office and liberals are ignoring that fact. Hard-working Americans are being made to look like villains for political reasons, and it must be stopped. ___________________________ Who’s Responsible for Separating Alien Kids From Their Parents? Many People, but Not Trump
Hans von Spakovsky / @HvonSpakovsky / June 21, 2018 Who truly is responsible for the 2,000 alien kids who, according to the Associated Press, recently have been separated from their detained illegal alien parents? There is a lot of blame to share. That includes President Bill Clinton and the alien parents themselves, as well as the courts and immigration policies foolishly created by the Obama administration. The perverse incentives in those policies have endangered the lives and safety of children and helped fund the deadly Mexican drug cartels that run the trafficking networks on our southern border. You would not know that based on the absurdly biased coverage and virulent protests that have occurred. The Trump administration is simply doing what it is constitutionally charged with doing—enforcing the law. The president on Wednesday issued an executive order that directs the Department of Homeland Security to keep illegal alien families together “to the extent permitted by law.” That is the crux of the administration’s problem: the extent to which the government is permitted to keep families together while they await removal proceedings. The liberal Left continue to push their radical agenda against American values. The good news is there is a solution. Find out more >> In 1997, the Clinton administration entered into a settlement agreement in Flores v. Reno, a lawsuit filed in federal court in California by pro-illegal immigration advocacy groups challenging the detention of juvenile aliens taken into custody by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. The Clinton administration agreed to settle this litigation despite the fact the Supreme Court had upheld the Immigration and Naturalization Service regulation that provided for the release of minors only to their parents, close relatives, or legal guardians. According to the Department of Homeland Security, the Flores agreement allows the agency to detain unaccompanied minors for only “20 days before releasing them to the Department of Health and Human Services which places the minors in foster or shelter situations until they locate a sponsor.” But in a controversial decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the most liberal in the country, has interpreted the settlement agreement to apply to “both minors who are accompanied and unaccompanied by their parents.” In other words, it is the 9th Circuit’s misinterpretation of the Clinton administration’s settlement agreement that doesn’t allow juvenile aliens to stay with their parents who have been detained for unlawful entry into the country. Of course, if those parents would simply agree to return to their home countries, they would be immediately reunited with their children. So those who come here illegally are themselves to blame for their children being assigned to foster care or to another family member or sponsor who may be in the country. The executive order signed by President Donald Trump directs the attorney general to file a request with the federal court in the Flores case to modify the settlement agreement to allow the government “to detain alien families together throughout the pendency of criminal proceedings for improper entry or any removal or other immigration proceedings.” Of course, the administration’s critics know about this settlement and know it limits the ability of the administration to keep alien families together. The point of their propaganda war is to force the Trump administration to terminate its zero-tolerance policy of prosecuting all adult aliens for illegal entry, stop all detentions, and return to the “catch and release” policies of the prior administration. The executive order did not indicate the president was in any way relaxing the zero-tolerance policy. Unfortunately, an unconfirmed news report the day after the executive order was signed cited a “senior U.S. Customs and Border Protection official” as claiming the Department of Homeland Security was “suspending prosecutions of adults who are members of family units until ICE can accelerate resource capability to allow us to maintain custody.” If this is accurate, then many illegal aliens currently in detention will be released because of a lack of adequate family detention centers. “Catch and release” was the policy of giving illegal aliens a court date and then releasing them, a practice which enables many of them to disappear into the vast interior of this country. Such a policy is not a viable option. As Mark Metcalf, former immigration judge, points out, for example, after 9/11 the number of aliens who failed to show up for their immigration hearings reached 58 percent in 2005 and 2006. Over the past two decades, 37 percent of all illegal aliens released pending an immigration hearing fled and never showed up for trial. The Obama administration provided a huge incentive for illegal aliens to smuggle children across the border, since a child acted as a get-out-of-jail-free card for avoiding detention and prosecution for the adult accompanying the child. As the Department of Homeland Security correctly says, this policy “incited smugglers to place children into the hands of adult strangers so they can pose as families and be released from immigration custody after crossing the border, creating another safety issue for these children.” In 2013, a federal judge issued a searing indictment of the Obama administration’s policy of reuniting children with their illegal alien parents in the U.S. who had paid human traffickers to smuggle the children into the U.S. and taking no action against the parents. As Judge Andrew Hanen said in a case against a human trafficker who was caught with a 10-year-old girl, the administration’s policy was to complete “the criminal mission of individuals who are violating the border security of the United States.” He called the policy “dangerous and unconscionable” because it encourages illegal aliens to place their “minor children in perilous situations subject to the whims of evil individuals.” Hanen listed the crimes he had seen committed against illegal aliens by traffickers, including assault, rape, kidnapping, and murder, and catalogued the “violence, extortion, forced labor, sexual assault, or prostitution” to which the aliens were subjected. Funds paid to these human traffickers by illegal aliens directly fund dangerous drug cartels such as Mexico’s Los Zetas. Another reason for the current separation problem is illegal aliens trying to take advantage of our generous asylum law. If an alien follows the law by presenting himself at a port of entry with his family and claiming asylum, then his claim will be reviewed and his family will stay together. It is when aliens are caught illegally crossing the border and then claim asylum that they have put themselves into the situation of being prosecuted for illegal entry. They are then separated from their children because of the Clinton-era settlement. Something else to keep in mind when it comes to the credibility—or lack of credibility—of many asylum claims these days is that many aliens pass through countries with their own asylum laws on their way here—including Mexico. If an alien doesn’t claim asylum before he gets to the U.S., that is a pretty good sign his reason for coming to the U.S. is more about economics than asylum. This issue of alien children being separated from their parents who are being prosecuted for illegal entry also should be kept in perspective. Our justice system doesn’t refuse to arrest, prosecute, and jail citizens when they break the law because they happen to have children. As Peter Kirsanow, a commissioner on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, points out, a report from the Department of Health and Human Services shows that more than 20,000 children were placed in foster care in 2016 because of “Parent Incarceration.” None of those protesting against the Trump administration seem concerned that 10 times more American children than the 2,000 alien children cited in the Associated Press report were separated from their parents in 2016 because of violations of the law by their parents. As Kirsanow says, it is “regrettable” children are separated from their parents. But “people who cross the border illegally have committed a crime, and one of the consequences of being arrested and detained is, unfortunately, that their children cannot stay with them.” It is not Trump who is responsible for this. __________________________ Closing the Loopholes: Trump Admin Cracks Down on Visa Overstays
When you cut through the liberal hysteria and even some of the idiotic nonsense coming from the NeverTrump faction of the conservative movement, you see that one of the most essential and important aspects of this administration is simple clarity on the rule of law. What better recent example than Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? This wasn’t some controversial gambit Trump pulled out of thin air; this was the fulfillment of a resolution Congress passed in 1995! Why it took 22 years and an “outsider” president to get this done? Well, just take a look at how the left is going nuts and you’ll understand. You see the same thing when it comes to illegal immigration. Trump hasn’t gotten any new legislation passed. He hasn’t put one brick of his promised wall up on the border. But merely by enforcing the laws we already have on the books (what a novel concept), he’s managed to strike terror in the hearts of Democrats from New York to San Francisco (and very few places in between). Now Trump officials are taking another stab at law enforcement in an attempt to get control of our very out-of-control immigration situation. Since 1997, federal authorities have used a loophole in our immigration laws to let visa violators stay in the United States well past their expiration dates. Instead of counting the length of a visitor’s overstay from the time their visa ran out, federal officials would start the count at the time they caught them. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but what else would you expect from a sprawling, pro-immigration bureaucracy? Trump is getting ready to close that loophole and hold visa violators accountable. By going in this direction, the president will send a clear message to anyone thinking about violating the rules of their visa. No longer will they be able to feign ignorance when caught by the authorities and squeak out another 180 days in the country without fear of a penalty. No, the moment they are caught, federal authorities will count up the days of their total overstay. And if they are already at the penalty-triggering point, then penalties they will get. Those could include banishment from the country for a time period ranging from three years to permanently, so there are obvious incentives to play by the rules. At least, there are when those rules are enforced. “The message is clear,” said U.S. Customs Director L. Francis Cissna. “These nonimmigrants cannot overstay their periods of admission or violate the terms of admission and stay illegally in the U.S. anymore.” It’s sad that it took a Donald Trump to make such a message clear, but it shows you how much can be done simply by enforcing the law. __________________________ Trump signs proclamation sending National Guard to Mexico border immediately
By Adam Shaw | Fox News Trump deploys National Guard to the borderPresident Trump signed a proclamation Wednesday night to send the National Guard to the southern border immediately, a senior White House official told Fox News, in response to what the administration described as an "unacceptable" flow of drugs, criminal activity and illegal immigrants. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said at the White House press briefing that the signing would be done in conjunction with governors and that the administration hoped the deployment would begin "immediately." "Despite a number of steps this administration has taken...we continue to see unacceptable levels of illegal drugs, dangerous gang activity transnational criminal organizations and illegal immigration flow across our border," she said. "The president has directed that the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security work together with our governors to deploy our National Guard to our southwest border to assist the border patrol," she said. "The president will be signing a proclamation to that effect today." Details about what the National Guard would do and how many would be deployed and for how long were not immediately disclosed. Under the George W. Bush administration, deploying the National Guard to the border cost $415 million dollars. Nielsen pointed to what she described as increasing fraud and exploited loopholes among arrivals on the southern border, saying traffickers have been advertising that if migrants have children with them, then they are more likely to be released into the U.S. She also said that almost 50 percent of arriving aliens are from Central America. "Traffickers and smugglers know that these individuals cannot under U.S. law be easily removed in an expeditious way back to their country of origin and so they exploit the loophole," she said, adding that the ability to game the system acts as a magnet for more migrants. She said that the administration has drafted legislation and will ask Congress to provide legal authority and resources to address the problem. "We will not allow illegal immigration levels to become the norm," she said. "More than 1,000 people a day, 300,000 a year violating our sovereignty as a nation will never be acceptable to this president." Trump had tweeted earlier Wednesday that he would “be taking strong action today” on the Mexico border, a day after he said that he wants to send the military to secure it until a wall is built. Arguing that the U.S. border laws “are very weak” compared to Mexico and Canada, he accused Democrats of wanting immigrants “to pour into our country unchecked.” Former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush had deployed the National Guard to the border in response to security issues. The Associated Press reported that the White House was considering a model similar to a Bush-era operation, where in 2006 6,000 National Guard troops were sent to assist the border patrol with non-law enforcement duties while additional border agents were hired and trained. Trump's recent focus on illegal immigration appeared to have been partly motivated by a caravan of more than 1,000 Central American migrants heading toward the U.S. border. Trump had threatened to end the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and to cut foreign aid to countries such as Honduras, from where many of the migrants originate, if the caravan was not stopped. Trump said Tuesday that he believes the caravan is being broken up after he had a conversation with Mexican officials. Nielsen said on Tuesday that she had been advised by Mexican officials that “the caravan is dissipating” and that several hundred migrants had been repatriated. “We will not accept the lawlessness of these types of efforts and those who choose to violate our laws, and those who conspire to assist others to violate our laws, will face criminal prosecution,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said. “The Department of Justice fully supports the efforts of the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security announced today to secure our border. I will soon be announcing additional Department of Justice initiatives to restore legality to the southern border.” Fox News' Brooke Singman, Serafin Gomez, Jennifer Griffin, Jake Gibson and The Associated Press contributed to this report. ___________________________ REPORT: Illegal Aliens Brutally Murder Border Patrol Agent, Crushed His Skull With Rocks
“Our agents’ reports from the ground say that he was struck in the head multiple times with a rock or rocks.” Photo by David McNew/Getty Images ByRYAN SAAVEDRA November 20, 2017 New details have emerged about the United States Border Patrol agent who was killed in the line of duty on Sunday while patrolling an area near the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas. Agent Rogelio Martinez, 36, died after suffering severe injuries he sustained while responding to an incident in the Big Bend Sector, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported. Border Patrol Agent Brandon Judd, who is also president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), toldBrandon Darby and Ildefonso Ortiz that initial reports from other Border Patrol agents were that Martinez was murdered by illegal aliens that he was tracking. “What we know is that Border Patrol Agent Rogilio Martinez appears to have been ambushed by a group of illegal aliens whom he was tracking,” Judd said. “Our agents’ reports from the ground say that he was struck in the head multiple times with a rock or rocks.” Another Border Patrol agent arrived on scene shortly after and was also reportedly ambushed by illegal aliens who attacked him with rocks. “The other agent arrived on scene a short time later and was also ambushed and struck in the head with what is believed to have been a rock or rocks. These disgusting acts and complete disregard for human life need to stop immediately. Family members of slain Agent Martinez will never get to see him come home again all because we have failed to secure our borders from such criminals.” President Donald Trump responded by immediately calling for the border wall to be built and said those who were responsible will be brought to justice. _________________________ ALERT: Sessions Blows “Dreamer” Scandal Wide-Open
September 23, 2017 Jeff Charles Attorney General Jeff Sessions had some bad news for illegal aliens who belong to street gangs. According to The Hill, on Thursday, Sessions called for a crackdown on illegal immigration — especially when it comes to illegal immigrants who are involved with violent street gangs. He said, “We are now working with the Department of Homeland Security and [Department of Health and Human Services] to examine the unaccompanied minors issue and the exploitation of that program by gang members who come to this country as wolves in sheep’s clothing.” During his statements — which were given to law enforcement officials — Sessions stated that he is working with DHS to focus on unaccompanied minors who enter the country illegally. According to The Hill, these individuals will be placed in communities that are in “the best interests of the child.” Many illegal immigrant minors have abused the Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Currently, the program places juveniles in areas that are controlled by street gangs. As a matter of fact, MS-13 — one of the most brutal gangs in the country — has used the program to recruit more members into their group. MS-13 — also known as La Mara Salvatrucha — originally came to the United States in the 1980s. Now, they operate in several major cities like New York, Boston, and Los Angeles. Sessions stated that the gang “represents some of the worst of the worst when it comes to criminal street gangs.” The gang is known for their ruthless intimidation tactics, and their murderous tendencies. They typically murder their victims in egregious fashion, using knives and hatchets to dismember them. Many of the group’s members are minors who have entered the country illegally. With no family to provide a healthy environment, they make easy targets for the El Salvadoran street gang. President Donald Trump has vowed to get rid of MS-13, and prevent them from threatening more American lives. In a speech given in July, he said, “Together we’re going to restore safety to our streets and peace to our communities and we’re going to destroy the vile, criminal cartel MS-13 and many other gangs,” Earlier this year, DHS stated that they would specifically target members of MS-13, as well as other gangs. Some of the criteria they will use to root out illegal immigrants who are involved with the gang include gang tattoos, frequent areas where gang activity is high, and fraternize with known MS-13 operatives. Sessions’ announcement is a welcome one for those of us who are tired of gangs conducting their illicit activities in their communities. Many have grown weary of the fact that these groups have been allowed to operate in their cities. Naturally, the Attorney General’s speech was interrupted by protesters, who hurled accusations of racism at those who would see members of street gangs deported or arrested. However, any rational person can see that the government’s approach has nothing to do with racism — it is about saving lives. Most of the immigrants who enter the country illegally don’t commit other crimes (other than illegal immigration), but there are a large number of those who become involved with gangs like MS-13. Regardless of where one stands on the immigration issue, it is important to support efforts to weed out those who would commit acts of violence against people in the United States. ___________________________ WARNING: Refugees Are Spreading Tuberculosis In THIS Surprising State. You’ve Been Warned.
Refugees are bringing something new to our country. Violence and crime was bad enough — but now, they’ve brought record levels of disease. Of the refugees in Minnesota, ninety percent have tuberculosis. This deadly disease has become an epidemic. (via Breitbart) How could this happen in America? Well, those born on our soil have such low levels of tuberculosis that most people and their doctors don’t even bother using the vaccine. But, the refugees are from countries where tuberculosis is a huge threat– including Syria, Somalia, and Burma. Conditions in those countries are so bad that their strains of tuberculosis have mutated, and become resistant to several of the usual treatments. This is called the multi-drug resistant (MDR) strain. It is significantly more expensive to treat, at 150,000 dollars for at least a year, and sometimes more than two years, of treatment. The simpler form of tuberculosis only costs 15,000 to treat, and recovery is only a few months. So, not only are people with active tuberculosis being allowed into the country, they are bringing in a more dangerous form of the disease, which is harder to treat. You think you’re angry now? It gets worse. Eleven of these disease-carrying refugees were diagnosed with tuberculosis before they even stepped foot on our soil. In fact, they were diagnosed as part of the application process! This should have disqualified them from entering the country. Even our lax immigration standards demand that. So why were they allowed in? We can only assume incompetence or willful disregard for the lives of Americans. This all stinks of liberal lenience towards immigration. As usual, they have put the lives of Americans at risk. The problem isn’t just in Minnesota. As The Angry Patriot previously reported, there are sixty-three cases of tuberculosis among the immigrants in El Paso, Texas. This was in April alone. (via The Angry Patriot). When, not if, Americans get tuberculosis as a result of this epidemic, it will be the liberals to blame. We have to hold them accountable and we have to clamp down on our borders! SHARE THIS ___________________________ THAT DIDN’T TAKE LONG! CANADA NOW WANTS BORDER CONTROL
KEELY SHARP MARCH 30, 2017 Ever since President Trump took office, illegal aliens in the United States have been streaming across the border into Canada. Now, Canadians, a happy people known for their politeness (and their proclivity to end sentences with ‘Eh?’) are getting fed up, the Washington Post reports. Candidates for leadership of Canada’s opposition Conservative Party are calling for drastic measures to halt the flow of asylum seekers fleeing the United States into Canada, including deployment of the Canadian army to detain would-be refugees as they cross the border. This get-tough approach reflects public opinion surveys that show a hardening of attitudes among some Canadians toward the asylum seekers and immigration in general, placing political pressure on the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Canadian news recently has been full of images of migrants trudging across snow-covered fields and through icy ditches, hauling small children and suitcases as they cross into Quebec, Manitoba and other provinces from U.S. border states. The phenomenon has gained momentum since Donald Trump was elected president in November... Posted by David Fabe | Mar 29, 2017 | American Strength They were exposed for fraud! Federal indictments were served against tech executives in the Bay Area of California for scheming to bring foreign workers into the United States using fraudulent paperwork. Unsealed federal grand jury indictments name Jayavel Murugan, CEO of Dynasoft Synergy, and Syed Nawaz of Santa Clara as having filed false paperwork with the U.S. government in an effort to import foreign workers to then supply to American corporations. Dynasoft operates in the Bay Area and has an office in India. The charges against the men include conspiracy to commit visa fraud, use of false documents, mail fraud, aggravated identity theft, and 26 counts of visa fraud. Penalties for each charge range from two to 20 years in prison. Murugan and Nawaz filed applications for H1-B visas, which grant temporary status to foreign workers in certain specialty occupations. The plan was to create a pool of tech workers to hire out to companies in the United States. Prosecutors charge that between 2010 and 2016 Dynasoft, co-founded by Murugan, advertised workers to Stanford University, Cisco, and Brocade, but these companies did not intend to hire the workers. To the government, Nawaz submitted fake “end-client letters” that gave the false impression that workers were on the job. This is just one case of immigrant worker fraud. There is a vast amount of fraud leveled at our immigration system. Beyond obvious illegal fraud, the legal H1-B visa system itself is highly controversial and unpopular. Each year around 85,000 H1-B visas are sought by U.S. corporations, tech companies and foreign employment firms. Polls show that large numbers of Americans view the program as harmful, and a majority of Americans want the program reduced or kept at current levels. Foreign H1-B workers are often overworked by big tech companies. According to Sara Blackwell, an attorney who represents American workers victimized by abuse of H1-B visas, fraud is widespread in the system. “Fraud is very rampant in the visa process,” she said. “The legitimate H-1B visa program is awful enough. I see fraud … I hear about it constantly. It’s very, very common.” Those who object to the existence of the program altogether argue that all or most of those jobs going to foreign workers could be done by Americans. The appeal of hiring the H1-B workers for companies is that these foreigners will work longer hours for lower pay. The justification offered by the hiring companies is that they need the workers for their technical skills. According to Blackwell, “The big CEOs literally say that it’s cheap labor.” A report by researchers at the University of Michigan and the University of California, San Diego claims that, had the H1-B visa system never been introduced, there would be 11 percent higher job availability in computer science and 5 percent higher wages. The New York Times reported that major companies such as IBM, Disney, Microsoft, and Facebook have petitioned the federal government to raise the cap on numbers of H1-B workers allowed into the country each year. This would have the effect of putting more Americans out of work. The same article also explains how large companies are gaming the H1-B lottery system, so that genuinely qualified workers with real skills are not able to be brought in by smaller companies. Meanwhile, large companies get their force of cheap labor. The H1-B program allows big companies to hire armies of cheap, overworked foreign workers. There have been rumors of a coming Trump executive order on work visa reform, but so far it has not been forthcoming. It was a winning issue for Trump during the campaign, during which he included a promise to reform the H1-B visa system on his website. However, in one of the primary debates he displayed some confusion over the issue. American workers and patriots are hoping the President understands the importance of the issue and will deliver. Steve Bannon, advisor to the President and former chief executive of Breitbart, which regularly runs articles critical of the H1-B visa system, surely has a grasp of the problem. As the Trump administration’s agenda rolls on, it is likely there will be action on H1-B visas, but the pressure from tech companies to expand the program should not be underestimated. Trump seemed to not understand his own H1-B policy at one of the primary debates in 2015, causing concern for patriots. There have been horror stories of American workers being forced to train their foreign replacements. These Americans are not replaced because they lack the skills to do their jobs, but purely because the companies want to save money on labor, and the government allows them to do so through the H1-B visa system. This may be good for the company’s bottom line, but this humiliation of skilled American workers hurts our morale as a nation, and goes against the spirit of the “economic nationalism” championed by Steve Bannon and President Trump. Unlike the GOP establishment, Steve Bannon wants what he calls “economic nationalism” for the USA, as opposed to globalism. For lower skill jobs in tech, in cases when it makes sense to get an employee who doesn’t demand a high wage, it is still questionable whether importing foreigners is the best option. These jobs could just as easily be filled by talented high school graduates. These jobs are actually ideal for young aspiring tech workers who want experience. With a bit of on the job training, young Americans can do the work that these foreigners are being brought in to do. And for the more advanced work, it is absurd that there aren’t Americans equally or more qualified than people in India or Pakistan. If there really is a shortage of skilled labor, we should be considering training our own people over importing foreigners. This is not to say that there is never a time to bring in a talented foreign worker. In some instances it could be genuinely beneficial to our economy and culture, but the numbers of visas needs to be cut and the fraud and abuse eliminated. The ultimate standard for evaluating any such program is the effect it has on the American worker and America as a whole. Fraudsters such as Murugan and Nawaz need to be stopped and punished as a warning to others. It is encouraging to see one more immigration scam brought down by law enforcement. ___________________________ LA Mayor Issues Order To City Authorities, Firefighters Told To Stand Down
Posted by Asia Mayfield | Mar 24, 2017 | LA Mayor Eric Garcetti now forbids the city’s firefighters and police officers from complying with ICE. The men and women bound to protect the citizens of Los Angeles will no longer be able to do their jobs. Mayor Eric Garcetti is now demanding that the city’s firefighters and police officers neglect their duty and ignore federal immigration orders. The pugnacious act is the latest among a string of liberal assaults on President Trump’s administration. LA intends to cling to its status as a sanctuary city in spite of fierce opposition. The recent spat of high-profile crimes committed by illegal immigrants has barely cooled the left’s exuberance for so-called “sanctuary cities.” Democrats are so desperate to stymie President Trump’s agenda that they’re willing to risk the safety of Americans. Previously peaceful neighborhoods are being overrun by dangerous illegals; school districts are overburdened with too many students. Garcetti ironically justifies his opposition by claiming that the president’s dictates are “un-American.” Apparently the mayor feels that his loyalties lie with the criminals sneaking into our country rather than with his own constituents. “In Los Angeles, we don’t separate people from their families because it’s inhumane,” Garcetti said this week. “In Los Angeles, we don’t demonize our hardworking neighbors just because they speak another language or come from another country.” Reasonable sentiments, but they’re misapplied. The families destroyed by illegal immigration are American. Of course we don’t hate our neighbors, the U.S. was built by immigrants. We welcome everyone who applies legally. But those whose flout our laws and abuse our generosity clearly don’t respect America enough to deserve citizenship. Sanctuary cities intend to defy the president and shelter illegal immigrants. FOX News believes that there at least 300 jurisdictions scattered throughout the U.S. that refuse to turn illegals over to ICE. Radicals on the left are so enamored with their open-border fantasies that they’ve convinced hundreds of officials to abandon their responsibilities. I wonder, while the bleeding-hearts are pining over the fate of migrants, do they also think about the thousands of Americans whose lives have been wrecked by illegal immigration? “We look to be able to strike that balance between public safety and trust. We do a better job because we work together than we otherwise would; counter-terrorism is a great example,” said LA Sheriff Jim McDonnell, one of the few California politicians that’s opposed to Garcetti’s decision. “We can allow ICE access to those individuals. That’s a system that by and large works very well for us at this point and one of the main reasons I look at Senate Bill 54 as something that is unnecessary.” Prohibiting the police from doing their job is a terrible idea. ICE agents aren’t bogeyman. Every reasonable person agrees that illegals who commit additional crimes while in the U.S. deserve to be deported. Even Obama adopted a tough stance towards undocumented migrants with a rap sheet. Trump remains committed to reforming our broken immigration system. ICE agents aren’t going to be put off by the resistance of local governments. Deportation restrictions have been eased and agents are no longer hampered by Obama’s rules. Millions of people are on their radar while the previous administration only considered approximately 1.4 million people to be priorities. Americans support LEGAL immigration. According to the Daily Mail, Trump’s team created a list that cited over 200 examples of undocumented migrants “who were said to have been released from custody by local jails despite requests from federal agents. The requests, often called ‘detainers,’ have taken on a greater role in the immigration debate. Many ‘sanctuary cities’ choose to not honor the requests when immigrants complete their sentences and are released from jail.” It’s incredibly unsettling to imagine hundreds of criminal, possibly violent illegals, shuffling back onto American streets rather than be deported. Of course Trump is alarmed, we all should be. Last week a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by two illegals in a high school bathroom. Those are the men being protected by sanctuary cities. Yet just this month, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, introduced protocols that would throw a wrench in any attempt by ICE to remove undocumented youth from NYC schools. “This adds another layer of defense so that it’s quite clear if an agent shows up, the default position is they’re not coming in the building,” De Blasio said. “Legal staff from the DOE and/or Law Department have to get involved, the principal has to get involved, senior police officials have to get involved before any decision is made on how to proceed.” Sanctuary cities are heavily concentrated in blue states. De Blasio openly admits that he plans to continue running NYC as a sanctuary city. He, and others like him, seem to relish defying the president. Trump’s election infuriated the radical fringes of the left. They’re now acting out that anger. Trump’s administration has floated the idea of denying federal funding to sanctuary cities. That’s a very good idea. Local governments can’t reject federal law but still expect to suck from the government teat. __________________________ May 27, 2017
Trump quietly doubling number of refugees entering US By Ed Straker President Trump has decided to double the number of refugees admitted every week but hasn't made a major announcement about it. Why not? Won't that help make America great again? Despite repeated efforts by President Trump to curtail refugee resettlements, the State Department this week quietly lifted the department’s restriction on the number of refugees allowed to enter the United States. The result could be a near doubling of refugees entering the country, from about 830 people a week in the first three weeks of this month to well over 1,500 people per week by next month, according to refugee advocates. Tens of thousands of refugees are waiting to come to the United States. The State Department’s decision was conveyed in an email on Thursday to the private agencies in countries around the world that help refugees manage the nearly two-year application process needed to enter the United States. Although it came the same day as an appeals court ruling that rejected government efforts to limit travel to the United States from six predominantly Muslim nations, the move by the State Department had nothing to do with the court ruling. Refugee groups now predict that entries into the United States could increase so rapidly that the total number of refugees admitted by Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year, could exceed 70,000. That is well below the 84,994 refugees admitted in fiscal year 2016, but not by nearly as much as many advocates had feared. Refugee advocates were delighted by the State Department’s decision. Many of those refugees are coming from unvettable countries like Syria. Questions for discussion: 1) Is admitting refugees from unvettable countries part of "putting America first"? 2) If a refugee whom Trump admits to the U.S. later kills some Americans, will Trump supporters say it could have been worse because at least Hillary Clinton wasn't the one to admit them? 3) If Trump truly believes in security for our nation, can you think of any rational reason why he is doing this? The Swiss' bold stance against Muslim cultural aggression. May 30, 2016 Hugh Fitzgerald Sometimes it’s the little things that are most telling. In Switzerland it has long been customary for students to shake the hands of their teachers at the beginning and end of the school day. It’s a sign of solidarity and mutual respect between teacher and pupil, one that is thought to encourage the right classroom atmosphere. Justice Minister Simonetta Sommaruga recently felt compelled to further explain that shaking hands was part of Swiss culture and daily life. And the reason she felt compelled to speak out about the handshake is that two Muslim brothers, aged 14 and 15, who have lived in Switzerland for several years (and thus are familiar with its mores), in the town of Therwil, near Basel, refused to shake the hands of their teacher, a woman, because, they claimed, this would violate Muslim teachings that contact with the opposite sex is allowed only with family members. At first the school authorities decided to avoid trouble, and initially granted the boys an exemption from having to shake the hand of any female teacher. But an uproar followed, as Mayor Reto Wolf explained to the BBC: “the community was unhappy with the decision taken by the school. In our culture and in our way of communication a handshake is normal and sends out respect for the other person, and this has to be brought [home] to the children in school.” Therwil’s Educational Department reversed the school’s decision, explaining in a statement on May 25 that the school’s exemption was lifted because “the public interest with respect to equality between men and women and the integration of foreigners significantly outweighs the freedom of religion.” It added that a teacher has the right to demand a handshake. Furthermore, if the students refused to shake hands again “the sanctions called for by law will be applied,” which included a possible fine of up to 5,000 dollars. This uproar in Switzerland, where many people were enraged at the original exemption granted to the Muslim boys, did not end after that exemption was itself overturned by the local Educational Department. The Swiss understood quite clearly that this was more than a little quarrel over handshakes; it was a fight over whether the Swiss would be masters in their own house, or whether they would be forced to yield, by the granting of special treatment, to the Islamic view of the proper relations between the sexes. It is one battle – small but to the Swiss significant – between o’erweening Muslim immigrants and the indigenous Swiss. Naturally, once the exemption was withdrawn, all hell broke loose among Muslims in Switzerland. The Islamic Central Council of Switzerland, instead of yielding quietly to the Swiss decision to uphold the handshaking custom, criticized the ruling in hysterical terms, claiming that the enforcement of the handshaking is “totalitarian” (!) because its intent is to “forbid religious people from meeting their obligations to God.” That, of course, was never the “intent” of the long-standing handshaking custom, which was a nearly-universal custom in Switzerland, and in schools had to do only with encouraging the right classroom atmosphere of mutual respect between instructor and pupil, of which the handshake was one aspect. The Swiss formulation of the problem – weighing competing claims — will be familiar to Americans versed in Constitutional adjudication. In this case “the public interest with respect to equality” of the sexes and the “integration of foreigners” (who are expected to adopt Swiss ways, not force the Swiss to exempt them from some of those ways) were weighed against the “religious obligations to God” of Muslims, and the former interests found to outweigh the latter. What this case shows is that even at the smallest and seemingly inconsequential level, Muslims are challenging the laws and customs of the Infidels among whom they have been allowed to settle. Each little victory, or defeat, will determine whether Muslims will truly integrate into a Western society or, instead, refashion that society to meet Muslim requirements. The handshake has been upheld and, what’s more, a stiff fine now will be imposed on those who continue to refuse to shake hands with a female teacher. This is a heartening sign of non-surrender by the Swiss. But the challenges of the Muslims within Europe to the laws and customs of the indigenes have no logical end and will not stop. And the greater the number of Muslims allowed to settle in Europe, the stronger and more frequent their challenges will be. They are attempting not to integrate, but rather to create, for now, a second, parallel society, and eventually, through sheer force of numbers from both migration and by outbreeding the Infidels, to fashion not a parallel society but one society — now dominated by Muslims. The Swiss handshaking dispute has received some, but not enough, press attention. Presumably, it’s deemed too inconsequential a matter to bother with. But the Swiss know better. And so should we. There’s an old Scottish saying that in one variant reads: “Many a little makes a mickle.” That is, the accumulation of many little things leads to one big thing. That’s what’s happening in Europe today. This was one victory for the side of sanity. There will need to be a great many more. ___________________________ Oppose Taxpayer-Funded Legal Representation for Illegal Aliens
FEBRUARY 2017 Since the election of President Donald Trump, the illegal alien lobby has been pressuring a growing number of jurisdictions to use taxpayer money to provide free legal representation to illegal aliens. These grants accomplish little but prioritize the needs of illegal aliens over law-abiding Americans. Further shielding illegal aliens from immigration enforcement is an expensive political statement that contradicts the will of the American people to take control of their border and have their laws enforced. Why should you oppose providing illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded legal representation? THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES GUARANTEES THE RIGHT TO LEGAL REPRESENTATION ONLY FOR CRIMINAL PROSECUTIONS. Most immigration proceedings, including removal proceedings, asylum petitions, and adjustment of status, are civil, not criminal proceedings, and therefore do not trigger the Sixth Amendment right to free legal counsel. In fact, the Supreme Court has ruled that deportation is not a punishment, but rather a civil administrative procedure whereby an alien is returned to their homeland.ALIENS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS OF THE LAW ARE ALREADY GUARANTEED REPRESENTATION THROUGH STATE PUBLIC DEFENDER PROGRAMS. While many illegal aliens are guilty of criminal violations associated with their unlawful status – such as identity theft, failing to enter the country properly or without inspection, or failing to properly register with the federal government – most of these violations go unprosecuted. Those aliens who are charged of criminal violations, however, are already provided access to legal representation through state public defender programs. No additional legislation is required to guarantee this right. PROVIDING TAXPAYER-FUNDED REPRESENTATION TO ILLEGAL ALIENS IS UNFAIR. Free legal representation is generally unavailable to citizens or legal aliens who face civil legal issues, such as foreclosures, eviction proceedings, child custody cases, or divorce proceedings. Providing free legal representation to illegal aliens is therefore unfair to citizens and legal residents who are required to pay out of pocket for their own civil legal proceedings. PROVIDING TAXPAYER-FUNDED REPRESENTATION TO ILLEGAL ALIENS FRUSTRATES FEDERAL LAW. The federal immigration scheme, as devised by Congress, expressly prohibits governments from funding the legal representation of aliens in removal proceedings. Aliens that wish to be represented by legal counsel are free to do so, but federal law stipulates that it must be at no cost to the government. (8 U.S.C. 1229a(b)(4); 8 U.S.C. 1362) PROVIDING TAXPAYER-FUNDED REPRESENTATION TO ILLEGAL ALIENS INCREASES THE ALREADY HIGH FISCAL BURDEN OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ON THE UNITED STATES. Using taxpayer dollars to prevent illegal aliens within our borders from being deported tells the world that our immigration laws are not meant to be taken seriously. With more than 11 million illegal aliens currently residing in the United States, FAIR estimates that the annual fiscal cost of illegal immigration to U.S. is roughly $113 billion. Allocating additional taxpayer resources specifically for the benefit of illegal alien legal fees is further unnecessary drain on U.S. taxpayers. Black Woman Goes Viral After Saying About Illegals What Millions Already Thinking
A pro-Trump black woman went viral after telling the truth about "sanctuary cities" and immigration! From The Conservative Tribune: A pro-Trump black woman didn’t hold back how she felt about illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities during a recent town hall meeting in Cudahy, California, and she echoed what many people are thinking. “Sanctuary cities are racist — black communities have been destroyed by illegal immigration,” the woman said. “You want us to feel for your families but you don’t feel for our families,” she explained. “Again, the black community has literally been destroyed by racist illegal immigration and we’re not going to have it. When my people do a crime, they get three strikes. Your people do a crime, they get amnesty, they get benefits and they’re not paying taxes,” she continued, as the crowd cheered. “Thank God for Trump, thank God for Sessions — and you should be ashamed of yourselves, how dare you?” she said. The woman then cited IRS regulations that allow taxpayers in the United States to claim dependents living in Mexico (or Canada), while she couldn’t even claim benefits for her family members who struggled in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. “Publication 17 IRS. They’re allowing YOU people to claim people in Mexico, I can’t even claim people in New Orleans when there was a flood. I couldn’t claim my people,” she complained. Many people agree with what this woman had to say. There are about 300 communities that fall under the category of “sanctuary city,” and President Donald Trump has threatened to cut federal funding for such cities that prevent law enforcement from holding criminal illegal aliens for immigration authorities. Trump also promised that he would help inner cities by bringing back jobs that have gone to illegals. Democrats are going not going to like what this woman had to say because it doesn’t fit into their narrative, but they might have a hard time trying to prove her wrong. Michael Savage describes Obama's 'Scorched Earth' approach to demographic warfare History isn't about tolerance or peace or understanding. History is about war. History is about conflict. History is about invasions – and the most consequential invasion in human history is well underway. "We're being invaded right now," says talk-radio host and best-selling author Dr. Michael Savage. "We're being invaded from the south. We're being invaded from the north, from the east and from the west. You might say, 'Well, that's the way of things,' and you might get used to it. They're here, they're near, they're everywhere. The question is, why are liberals so quick to embrace this invasion, and why are traditionalists and conservatives like myself so resistant to erasing the borders, language and culture of this great nation?" More than 3 million foreigners came to the United States in 2014 and 2015 according to a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies. The foreign-born population in the United States, now standing at 43.3 million people, is at an all-time high. Immigrants now make up almost 14 percent of the population, the highest percentage in 105 years. And the rate of immigration is increasing. If current demographic projects are left unchanged, immigrants will compose a record share of the population in seven years. It's not just the number but the origin of these new residents which is causing concerns. Border Patrol officials say an increasing number of would-be illegal immigrants are arriving from nations around the world, including from outside the Western Hemisphere. The number of "refugees" is also on the rise, especially from Muslim nations. Some 13,210 Syrian refugees have been welcomed into the United States by the Obama administration so far in 2016. More than 99 percent are Muslims. Republicans are already grappling with the political problems presented by an increasingly Third World population, which is putting states like California forever out of electoral reach. But the changes go beyond politics. Entire cities or even states like Minnesota are having to grapple with huge problems such as Muslim immigrants attempting to join the Islamic State. The increased demand upon the welfare and social services by immigrants is also putting financial pressure on many communities. And sometimes, even the Muslim immigrants on welfare still end up fighting for the Islamic State. An unprecedented crossroads in history. A desperate struggle for national survival. America itself is on the line. Don't miss the most explosive book of the political season from the man leading the nationalist revolution. Michael Savage is here to tell you how to take America back in "Scorched Earth: Restoring the Country After Obama." With special autographed copies available ONLY through the WND Superstore! In his new book, "Scorched Earth," Savage unloads on Barack Obama, Angela Merkel and other Western leaders who are "invading their own countries" to deliberately deconstruct them. Savage challenges the premise Obama is a weak leader who is being taken advantage of. The truth, he suggests, is that Obama and other pro-immigration leaders know exactly what they're doing. "Barack Hussein Obama, a president who was never touched personally by oppression, has one of the strongest wills I've ever seen, similar to those of other very dangerous leaders," Savage claims. "Look at Germany, at Belgium, at America, at the guilt-edged humanitarian rush to bring in Syrian Muslims and Bosnian Muslims. No one knows who they are or where they're really coming from. Ninety percent of them are men without women and children. Of course, the news media are modifying that reality to suit their liberal agenda. They are showing us pictures of older men, frightened women, and hungry children. But we all know that the influx to Europe is 85 to 90 percent single men of military age. "Obama is invading his own country. He's destroying it from within, like a worm in an apple –or the communist mayor in the Big Apple. He began with illegal aliens from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and China. Using glib lies and illegal executive orders, and unchallenged by the complicit mainstream press, he is making his own people stand down. He's making the local police stand down. He's making the border patrol stand down. They were illegal Mexicans living in a refrigerator box on a hillside in Riverside County, California. The Immigration and Naturalization Service was summoned – and took no action." Savage accused Obama of being a "psychopath" deliberately trying to destroy the United States and the rule of law. "He invades his own country with a de facto army from other nations, foreigners who are not even citizens, who have no visas or legal right to be here," he thundered. "He wipes away the laws of his own land. He permits illegal aliens to vote. If that's not psychopathic behavior, tell me what is." Dr. Savage sees a primal hatred animating Obama, Merkel and other leaders seemingly possessed by a fanatical desire to replace the populations of their own countries. "Two of the hallmarks of the psychotic are egotism and the need to destroy," he pronounces. "It is the goal of these dictators to make certain that traditional Americans (and Germans and Englishmen) in general, and the white male in particular, no longer have a voice in their own nation. They are the enemy, and they are within." In "Scorched Earth," Savage combines his typically fiery style with a professor's thoroughness in breaking down what exactly is behind the open borders mania. He identifies Third World immigration as a massive wealth redistribution effort, with immigrants in Europe and the United States receiving huge benefits from overworked Western taxpayers. "This is Muslims running toward financial gain – at your expense," Savage argues. "The fact of that matter is that wherever they go – Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany – they abuse the social service/welfare systems." More than that, Savage shows how the activists and organizers who push massive Third World immigration, especially by Muslim "refugees," are doing it because they are making money, not because of some vision of "morality" or "compassion." "Lutheran Family Services is accepting refugees only for the money… They're doing it because they're greedy," Savage states. "They're doing it because they make money off it. There's a lot of self-interest." "Scorched Earth" is not comforting reading. Instead, it's a call to arms for Westerners to resist their own extermination in what is becoming an existential struggle. And the hour is late. "We may have lost the battle," he warns. "All you can do now is prepare for the tsunami of foreigners, of illegal aliens, of those opposed to Christianity and Judaism that the psychopaths are allowing – no encouraging – to rush across the borders as quickly as they can. "If you want to know what this country will look like in ten years if this is not stopped, all you've got to do is look south at the border, then all you've got to do is look at Fallujah, then all you've got to do is look at Somalia, and you'll have some picture of what districts or whole regions of inner cities will look like in this country, unless the subversive groups are exposed and stopped." An unprecedented crossroads in history. A desperate struggle for national survival. America itself is on the line. Don't miss the most explosive book of the political season from the man leading the nationalist revolution. by Tyler Durden Nov 1, 2016 11:27 AM Through October, the Obama administration has officially resettled 13,210 Syrian refugees into the United States since the beginning of 2016, an increase of 675% compared to the same 10-month period in 2015. Of course, just last month Secretary of State Kerry revealed plans by the Obama administration to increase the number of refugees admitted into the U.S. even further to 110,000 in 2017, representing a 30% increase over the 2016 target and a 57% increase from 2015. According to CNS News, 99.1% of incoming Syrian refugees so far in 2016 are Muslim while only 0.5% are Christian despite John Kerry declaring back in March that ISIS was actively committing genocide against Christians in the war-torn country. Of those, 13,100 (99.1 percent) are Muslims – 12,966 Sunnis, 24 Shi’a, and 110 other Muslims – and 77 (0.5 percent) are Christians. Another 24 (0.18 percent) are Yazidis. During the Jan.-Oct. period in 2015, 1,705 Syrian refugees were admitted, of whom 1,664 (97.5 percent) were Muslims and 29 (1.7 percent) were Christians. Meanwhile the surge of Syrian refugee admissions initiated by the administration last February has continued into the new fiscal year, now one month-old: A total of 1,297 were resettled during October – a 593 percent increase over the 187 admitted in October 2015. October’s arrivals were once again dominated by Sunni Muslims, accounting for 1,263 (97.3 percent) of the total. Another seven were Shi’a Muslims and 12 were other Muslims. The rest of the October intake comprised 15 (1.1 percent) Christians – eight Orthodox, four Catholics and three refugees self-described simply as Christians. In light of the genocide acknowledgement by Kerry and given that Christians represent 10% of the Syrian population, it would seem to make sense that Christian refugees admitted into the United States would make up at least 10% of the migrant pool. But, as CNS points out, since the genocide declaration by Kerry only 0.58% of Syrians granted asylum in the U.S. are Christian. But jihadists among the rebels, and especially the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL), have also targeted Christians, Yazidis and other minorities in particular. Last March 17, Secretary of State John Kerry announced, in line with a legislative requirement, that the treatment of Christians and other minorities in areas controlled by ISIS amounts to genocide. Since that genocide determination, the Obama administration has resettled a total of 12,743 Syrian refugees in the U.S., but only 74 (0.58 percent) of them are Christians, and only 24 (0.18 percent) of them are Yazidis. The vast majority – 12,637, or 99.16 percent – are Muslims, including 12,516 Sunnis. When the civil war began in March 2011, an estimated 74 percent of the Syrian population was Sunni Muslim and an estimated 10 percent was Christian. Therefore if the U.S. admitted Christian Syrian refugees in proportion to the population, roughly 1,260 Christians would have been resettled in the United States in FY2016. Just 68 were. Meanwhile, according to NBC, the top destination for Syrian refugees arriving in the U.S. is the state of Michigan. More than a 10th of the 10,000 Syrians admitted this fiscal year at the urging of the Obama administration are headed there, according to State Department figures. Most of the new arrivals are likely to settle in and around Detroit, which has long been a magnet for Arab immigrants. This despite the fact that Michigan's Republican Gov. Rick Snyder suspended efforts last November to bring more long-suffering Syrians to his state after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris. Snyder spokeswoman Anna Heaton told NBC News the governor "never suspended refugee resettlement" and is not opposed to more Syrian refugees settling in Michigan. "The governor suspended efforts to bring in additional refugees above and beyond the amount Michigan normally receives," Heaton said in an email. "This increase in Syrian refugee resettlement is not surprising as our state continues to be a welcoming home for refugees who go on to contribute to our economic comeback and Michigan's overall quality of life." Close on Michigan's heels is California, which has taken in 1,030 Syrians between Oct. 1 of last year and Aug. 29, the federal figures show. Arizona and Texas, two red states led by Republican governors who have flat-out said they don't want Syrian refugees because they supposedly pose a security risk, are next on the list having taken in 766 and 735 people, respectively, the figures show. Those states were followed by Pennsylvania (600), Illinois (569), Florida (542) and New York (538), the figures show. Just something else for the American public to consider in the 7 days remaining ahead of the presidential election. |

The Take Care Clause and Executive Discretion in the Enforcement of Law
Todd Garvey Legislative Attorney September 4, 2014 click here __________________________________________ David Horowitz has published an excellent book, which discusses the leftist, progressive strategy for taking down America through immigration and other nefarious schemes. Coming out of the Left where he encountered firsthand their true intentions toward America, he is more than adequately suited to offer a counter-strategy in the war against them. His book is titled Big Agenda: President Trump’s Plan to Save America. It’s available at online stores and well worth the read.
