Karen, is an engineer turned community organizer. She co-founded a flourishing grassroots organization in the Tampa area educating and promoting American principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility at the local level. She also managed a successful issue-based campaign in 2010 by marrying conservative think-tank research with grassroots activism resulting in policy success–stopping a local tax hike. During the 2012 election cycle she served as a field coordinator in the Tampa area building grassroots relations with conservative organizations while managing a top-producing volunteer phonebank and canvassing center. |
